The food and service were all wonderful! My husband and I had our two granddaughters (5 and 10) with us and the staff could not have been more accommodating with our requests. We will definitely be back again!!

Before our arrival, we had previewed the menu, and I had decided on the bolognese. We arrived early for our reservation and were promptly seated. After ordering bread, we quickly followed with a salad and our entrees. When the food arrived, the first thing I noticed was how overwhelmingly salty my dish was. Without mentioning anything, I had my mom and sister taste it — and the first thing they both said was how salty it was. I asked the waiter if I could have a replacement prepared with less salt. He returned with my same plate and a menu, explaining that the chef said all the bolognese would taste the same, and that I could either keep my dish or select something else. Unfortunately, I didn’t want a different entrée; I had specifically come for the bolognese. The waiter gave me a "tough luck" look, so I told him I would try to eat it. After one more bite, I realized it was simply inedible and asked to have it removed, opting not to order anything else. Meanwhile, I got to sit and watch my mom and sister enjoy their meals. While the charge for my dish was removed, what really left a bad impression was the chef’s attitude — I have never been to a high-end restaurant where a guest’s concerns are met with a “too bad, so sad” mentality, especially for a meal priced over $25. To make matters worse, no manager ever stopped by the table to check in or acknowledge the issue. This situation was clearly not the waiter's fault, and it was obvious the chef had put him in an uncomfortable position. We won't be dining there again.

We love Piatti and alternate between SA’s two locations. This visit to the Quarry store was great as usual. Outstanding service from our waiter and the food was excellent. We shared the sourdough ciabatta with oil and basalmic, followed by a Caesar salad and wedding soup. We then shared the spiral zucchini “pasta” dish which is truly exceptional in flavor and presentation. We followed it with the flourless chocolate cake slice with cream. All very nice.

Had a wonderful meal. The Caesar salad was dressed just right. The lasagna and meatballs were what one would expect when eating at an Italian grandmother's house. The Tirimisu was a great way to end the meal. Lastly, Marcus was as attentive a server as you would want. All in all, an authentic Italian gem in the San Antonio community.

Great service, great food. Had a spicy pepperoni flatbread and my wife had a gluten-free chicken flatbread. Highly suggest!
