P.F. Chang's - Irvine Spectrum

We booked at PF Chang's knowing outdoor dining was going to be shutdown the next day. We were glad we did.

Our waitress was GREAT! Food was delicious and drinks were awesome. We were seated outside by one of the fire pits. It was down to 56 degrees but the fire helped us stay warm.

Got sat right in the walkway between the inside and outside areas. I know they’re trying to space out the tables however putting one right in the doorway was a joke. Bartender was trying to tend bar and be our waiter did not work. The salmon was so overcooked it look like a shoe. Overall this location did not have it together.

Birthday celebration

Service was superb. We wanted to do family style and our server showed us how we could do it safely. Each of us has a dedicated spoon to dish the food. I’m impressed with how accommodating PF Chang’s is.

Went for Father's Day and I was impressed by the safety measures in place. The food was as delicious as always and we had a nice evening. The only downside was a large family near us that was allowing their 10-yr-old to "play drums" on the table & glasses with the chopsticks several times throughout the meal. It was louder than usual because of limited capacity.

I love coming here for date night. They sit you quick and the service is always great! I also go to another PF Changs and it doesn't compare. This restaurant is much better.

Great food, drink and service.

If you want decent food with great service, this is the place. It is more expensive than take out or Panda E, and less authentic than the place with live chickens in cages, but if you just want to talk and eat without people griping about the portions (they're huge) or the service, come here. All things considered a great value and I'd bring the family again.

Resveration was for 6:30 we weren’t seated until 7:10, food came out slow.. Server was very overwhelmed.. Didn’t seem to have enough servers on .. Food was very good when it finally came out..

Meat dishes were good, the soups were not flavorful and wonton soup was completely lacking goodies. PadThai was also quite bland. Best dish was the honey shrimp and sweet and sour chicken; had to pay extra for enough white rice for all of us..what??

We are all fans of PF Chang's. I go to PF Chang's in Carlsbad and La Jolla a few times a year, since I live in North County San Diego. The Spectrum was a central location to meet siblings from LA. It was my sister's birthday lunch and a special occasion for us. My sister goes often to business dinners at PF Chang's near her home in Santa Clarita. We arrived at 11:20 a.m. and were the first guests.

Two of us ordered Pad Thai - one of my favorite dishes. My sister ordered chicken and broccoli. My meal, my brother's and my sister's was such a disappointment. The chicken was dry, there was no flavor. It seems that the chicken is cooked in advance for all of the chicken dishes, instead of being prepared fresh for each order or meal. I don't know if it was prepped or left over the day before, but it was dry and with no taste. It was flat. But, perhaps that is the standard for this restaurant. Instead of chopped green onions, I had a large bunch of 3 to 4 inches of the hollow green onion tops, no whites at all. That seemed odd, serving stems that should not be used in that quantity, that part of the onion. and very long. The noodles were flat-tasting, I don't recall any ground peanuts or sauce on the dish. If they were there, it was dry, dry. My sister's broccoli was dark and overcooked and her chicken was dry. Even a good amount of hot sauce didn't improve the flavor.

Coffee taste could be improved. My siblings loved the ice cream.

Kudos to the servers who were attentive and responsive. They were really excellent as were those who greeted us and said goodbye. We actually did not share our complaints with them, as we had a pressing appointment after lunch.

The kitchen and meals were not up to PF Chang's quality that we were all used to. Next time if we meet at the Spectrum, we will go to California Pizza Kitchen.

I would inform people that this place does not have Orange Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and a few other popular items on their menu. Very dissapointing!

The service though was excellent.

Great dishes and service. Kids meal was not great, tiny portion. Seabass didn't have much taste and the combination with a huge bed of spinach was disappointing. Could use some additional flavors and different side vegetables.

The entrees are very overpriced for what you get in amount, as well as quality.

We had a great Valentine's dinner, the food was perfect and our service were great. I would recommend this place for V-day.

PF Chang's is one of my favorite chains. The Irvine Spectrum location is spacious and well decorated. The porch has a nice fire ring.
The food and service were excellent as usual.

We had one of the most friendly, personable servers we've ever encountered and her name was Kaylee.

Atmosphere was great. The food lacked some flavor, however overall the two groups we meet had a nice time.appreciated the gluten free menu.

Menu items were limited and it is not authentic Chinese or Asian food. So set expectations for that. Brown rice was undercooked. They brought back two differ batches and they were all bad. Too much sauce to cover up how little the food quantity was. Kimchi fries but no kimchi, just a ton of mayonnaise and sriracha. Horrible. So tons that were drowning in soy sauce and chili -masking the flavor. Overall I would never come back. The worst food even if it didn’t taste anything close to Asian food. What a poor representation of a restaurant.

The service was extremely slow and our server never returned after bringing food until it was time to bring the check. I usually love this restaurant but I was disappointed for sure this time and had brought 2 friends to enjoy the experience. I will think twice about choosing this restaurant with friends again.

Greeter appeared stressed and generic. He did not welcome us. I had reservations and he just mumbled and did not give respect-full eye contact.
Cuisine was flavorful but portion size was diminished. For example, you would think that a $19 serving of Mongolian beef would be enough for at least 3-4 to share? No it was enough for 1.5 people. The protein was good quality though.
Table service from our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive.
Overall, I think people come to PF Changs because of it’s location in the mall. For someone who knows Chinese cuisine- this will not be my choice again.

Being Christmas Eve it wasn't too bad. The only bummer is that our party was put outside under heat lamps. It was a very cold night and food got cold pretty quick. We ended our night with rain coming through and getting a couple of people wet. Would of liked to know ahead of time that they were putting us outside. Some of us didn't dress to be sitting outside for dinner. Our waitress was awesome, the food took awhile to get to us, but it was good. Just being with friends is what made it a good night.

Table was ready on time, service was slow but it was a holiday & busy, 2 dishes were wrong and we didn’t have time for new ones to be made but our bill was adjusted. Cocktails were fantastic.

We were celebrating my parent’s 55th anniversary and the staff really made the occasion special with attention to detail.

They removed the Lobster fried rice from the menu. It was among the best fried rice I've had. Very disappointed.

PF Changs is one of our favorite places to go out to dinner with family and friends. It's obvious that there portions are getting smaller and the prices are increasing. Service is always excellent. last night our server Abigail (Abby) at the Irvine Spectrum was excellent. We had a party of 7 and she was excellent the entire time.

Chicken in the lo mein is dry.

everything was dirty our waiter scraped dried food off a plate and gave it back to us. He also admitted to doing this.

Had the honey chicken and dry rub ribs. I get the ribs every time and they are always amazing.

We were celebrating my husband's 88th birthday. The servers were exceptionally catering to him in a fun way. We had a great time.

A great place for a birthday celebration with our family of 8. We were given a round table, which was perfect for conversations. The ambiance and service were perfect and everyone loved the food!

Food was not of the quality it has been for the past few months. Waiter was good but helpers were only average. Ordered 2 appetizers and they only brought one and we had to ask for the second one. Ordered white as well as brown rice with dinner, servers only brought the white and it took 5 minutes to get their attention to bring us the brown rice and the food was cold by that time. Not real happy this visit.

We visit this location at least once per month. Food was great as always, service was sub par. Server was not attentive and seemed to be annoyed by all of our requests (even something as simple as lemon for water) We had to ask him for items several times and even then we didn’t get some items.

Chicken Fried Rice: Chicken was over done and chewy. Other than that, everything was fine!

Birthday. Good was great unfortunately the service was not that great. Had to continue asking for things.
