P.F. Chang's - Boise

Food was served cold and not cooked properly. The manager offered to recook our ice cold crab rangoons and said they only take 45 seconds. 30 minutes later after we already had our check he brought burnt inedible replacements. He also had the audacity to tell us when we told him our beef and shrimp dishes were cold that he watched it come out of the wok himself and he was confused. We even asked him to taste it. He just walked off and acted like we were full of it. That will be my last visit unless they get a manager that has a clue. Our server was great but the kitchen staff and manager need to be replaced. One or the worst dining experiences I have ever had!

Best Chinese food in Boise and the atmosphere is top notch. P.F. Chang's is our go to for a great evening downtown. I love how we can share all our favorite dishes with each other.

Another great experience at PF Chang's! We sat on the patio. It was quiet and safely distanced.

We ate outside on an open air patio at Chang’s, mostly because of COVID concerns. The service was very good & everyone wore masks. The food arrived quickly & was threat, as usual.

A longtime favorite, it was a delight to dine here during a recent road trip. We knew it would be dependable and tasty. Ate indoors with graciously spaced tables. Our server was super friendly and attentive. Asian Cesar was a nice twist on a classic salad, lots of crunch. Really enjoyed the Street Shanghai noodles with a kick. No leftovers there!

Had a reservation for 7;30, but wasn’t seated until 8:00.

Our service was bad. We have been to this PF Changs before and never had any issues. Our waiter, Charles forgot us for an extended period of time, twice. We paid partly in a gift certificate and he did not give us our itemized recept so we could see how much was on our card we paid with. We had to get a manager over to him back to our table to give us the receipt. Very poor service!

Greeter sat us and only gave my 15 year-old daughter and me alcohol menus. We had to specifically ask for a food menu.
Our waiter was in over his head and couldn't keep up with all his tables. No bussers were working, so the table next to us was never cleaned off. Just a mess for us to sit by for the night. A drunk man had to be helped by some other customers as he staggered from their bar to a cab.
Food was at least good. Not good enough for us to come back though.

Valentines Day lunch. Our server was great! Very helpful and extremely polite.

Dinner with friends. You can count on P.F. Changs for consistently good food. Be sure to make a reservation during the winter months as they adjust staff based on expected seating.

As always...excellent food and service! Really enjoyed the experience for our anniversary dinner. Made reservations through Open Table and was seated with 5 minutes of check in time. The staff clearly goes out of their way to make your dining experience a special one. Especially enjoyed to Lettuce wrap appetizers and drinks.

Great, extensive gluten-free menu that is prepared in a different part of the kitchen to avoid cross-contamination if that is a concern to you. Regular menu has something for every palate.

We had reservations to celebrate our 8th wedding anniversary. We arrived early so we had time to sit at the bar for a drink. The bar tender was great! The drinks were great! Our tab was $30+ for a glass of wine and a dirty martini, but whatever, we were having fun.
The hostess came over and got us after about 20 min, and we were seated at a table that was comfortable in size for the two of us. We had edamame for an appetizer and I ordered a sushi roll and a lettuce wrap, my wife ordered ginger chicken. I had one more martini and that was it. The tab for dinner was $59 and I included a $15 dollar tip. Waiting for dinner we had two or three different waiters come by our table to make sure we didn’t need anything, once we had food on our table we were pretty much left alone but I think that was because they were busy. I finally stopped someone walking by to ask for our bill. It was a pleasant experience but not worth $100.

Were seated promptly and then ignored for about 10 minutes. Finally acknowledged by 'A' waiter, someone was told to get our table started with waters, etc. I think it was a manager who showed up, apologized then took drink orders. Food and cocktails were fine.
Not sure if it's Open Table affiliated restaurant policy, but we ALWAYS get seated by the swinging kitchen doors or a crying baby...maybe just bad luck.

They were out of steak for the new advertised steak dish And were out of some drink choices as well. The menu choices have seemingly been reduced but still a good overall variety. Finally, the mini desserts are gone which is very disappointing!

Great food. Great service.

The food was pretty mediocre. No what we have had at other Chang’s in the past. Won ton soup should be just won tons and broth, no the other stuff - chunks of chicken and shrimp and some kind of leaves. Don’t understand the need to change menus when what was original was good. We were told corporate menu change resulted is no macaroni and cheese, no lobster, etc.

We will not be back. Too bad we used to love P.F. Chang’s.

We came for a 56th birthday celebration on a Friday night. I was worried it would be loud and crowded but the noise level was comfortable, the service was great and the food was fresh and amazing. Really glad we chose this place.

PFC is always reliable and predictable. This was our experience. Position of our table was excellent for conversation. The food was very good. We noted that the recipe for orange chicken had been changed. Service was attentive. The restaurant was full and the staff seemed to be handling it well. Good experience.

Great happy hour! We went for my daughters 19th birthday. Spencer our waiter was excellent! Great service and personable...was on top of our needs and made our dining experience a great night out! Food was great as usual! Definitely try the new Mongolian beef pot stickers and the Asian Pear Mojito!

They had several gluten free options for my mom to enjoy and i had the surf and turf which was delicious.

We were a party of seven, and since we there early (at 5 pm) on a Monday, we had the place to ourselves,..........almost. The waiter ("Skyler") was awesome! What service! What a great guy! We had a wonderful time, and loved the two large slices of chocolate cake they gave us, since we were celebrating two anniversaries. It is everyone's favorite place in Boise, so we truly enjoyed it! Everyone loves Asian food, and this was mighty fine! Don't miss it!

Our waiter was overwhelmed and inattentive. It took 10 min to get water, sloppy service, dirty dishes not cleared even though we were clearly finished with them.

The service was terrible, our waitress didn’t bring our drinks I had to ask some random food server to get it from the bar where it sat for more than 15 min.

The service was rough! They ran out of serving spoons and the server put his thumb in our soup! 😢 the food was just ok. We got tucked in a corner by the bathroom. Not the fun and delicious family dinner I was hoping for for the price!

Food quality was not nearly as good as last visit. Tasted much like mass production fast food Chinese food.

This is the first time I had a less than desirable experience at PF Chang's. I've eaten here many, many times. Their menu has changed and does not say all the ingredients in their dishes, which is ok except when it is a popular allergy. I got the Pad Thai and the ingredients do not list eggs as being in it. I've never had Pad Thai with egg before so wrongfully, I assumed there would not be any. Only after eating about a 1/3 of it, did I discover there was egg in it. I suffered for two days, not life threatening but caused intestinal distress issues. Not fun. I did tell the manager they really should list this on their menu. He seemed genuinely surprised it did not list egg on the ingredient list on the menu and confirmed it did not. I did not ask for anything, just that they know this could potentially be a problem for another person. I love this place but recommend telling the server of any allergy and not taking the menu as a full list of ingredients.
