Wonderful bistro experience with escargot and French onion soup. Tipped off with glass of wine, allowed us to reminisce about similar bid to in Paris, not too long ago. Wonderful wait staff. Will go back.

We sat outside, which was lovely. The staff turned down the music when we requested to help one of us hear better. They were very accommodating with respect to dietary restrictions, which we appreciated very much. The food was delicious. Our only problem was that it took a very long time for some of the food to arrive, and we had to remind the staff several times that some items were missing. As a result, one of us had finished eating before the other person’s food arrived. Even getting our check took a long time, so I finally went inside to find someone to pay. I would highly recommend this place for the quality of the food, but only if you have plenty of time.

Service is just Ok. Nothing special. It is a very small restaurant. It is noisy. Bring your sweater or jacket because it is cold inside. Everything is open. Food is expensive because it is average. I liked the mussels ( but I don’t understand why the chef put mayonnaise on the top) and the chicken. Escargots were boring and bland. The tuna was good quality but the salad had too much dressing. My wife just ate the tuna. Value is bad. It is very touristic. I think that you can like this place for the ambiance but for me, food is the most important thing in a restaurant.

The food was excellant. The service was slow waited 15 minutes to be greeted by waiter. Bistro chairs are uncomfortable too tall for the table and the backs slant too much and should be replaced.

Just ok!!! Dined on Wed. 8/16/23. Rez at 6. Seated right away. No good evening or "welcome and good evening"???" Ordered a a mrtini and a bees knees. Tiny, tiny martini glasses…not sure there was an ounce of liquor in each 1one $20 for a Bombay martini…ouch. A liter at Costco is 21$. $18 for a glass of sparkling rose. Could buy a bottle for $18 Onion soup-$12—good but not the best I ever had. Frisée salad…not good…not enuf dressing. one poached egg on top, maybe 5-6 pieces of lardon (bacon) and a few croutons. Frisée was not cut up so you had to cut it with your table knife which was not sharp. I am sure the food cost on it is less than $1.50. Bland and overpriced. Chicken—it was pretty good and a good size portion…$28. Carrots were hard and not cooked enuf. sSuce pretty good. Steak Frites—maybe a 4 oz piece of very tough meat. I should have sent in back. At time I has to use my fingers in my mouth to break the gristle. Frites very good. Bernaise sauce..leave it off the plate. Offered desert. Passed. Server was good bit nothing special Just an order taker. When I made rez I noted it was a special dinner for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Never mentioned. They charge 3-4% of bill for a "living wage plan. If you run a restaurant, pay your staff a living wage by selling more and raising prices. This policy only hurts the server and most I kno deduct the "living wage" amount from their tip and I am betting the servers or staff never see the living wage contribution. If the prices at quality of food meet the needs of this high income/pricey area, good. As for me I would never return for $170.00 !!!

We eat here fairly often but last night the service was horrible: (1) Slow - people came in at the same time and ate long before we got our meal. We waited 50 mins for our entree. (2) Not attentive - we asked for bread and it came after we fishies our entree. Luckily this wasn’t our fist visit…otherwise we wouldn’t return.

We were disappointed with the food. We ordered chicken liver mousse as an appetizer. The toasts served with it we’re too hard and not enough , softer bread would have been better. Also had French Onion soup which was very good. As a main course we ordered the Beef Bourguignon which was lukewarm and too salty. Altogether an expensive and not very satisfying evening. Small and quite noisy.

We were treated so magnificently--celebrating a birthday! The setting was lovely-a table near the open garage door--inside/outside-safe and comfortable. The food from salad to dessert was delicious-served promptly and exactly as expected.

Went during happy hour and was told happy hour menu is for the bar or outside which I thought was awkward. Charcuterie meat/cheese plate was skimpy and only provided a few slices of salami, liver pâté, 2 cheeses, some walnuts, olives & strawberries. Had the escargot appetizer, had lots of butter, parsley but no garlic (was not good). Wine pour was excellent and our server Ana was great.

Great place--outstanding service! Lavelle, our server was super. The bartender makes excellent cocktails and the tuna tartare and bouillabaisse was tasty. Very festive for Bastille day--all staff was dressed up and positive. And our dining neighbors were fab--Thx to all there for a wonderful evening!

The lobster roll was on damp bread; the onion soup was lumpy- not integrated into a tasty whole; the green salad was great; fries were Luke warm;?drinks were creative and quite good.

We truly, really thought we'd miss our treasured "New Morning Cafe" which occupied the historic building that was here before they rehabbed and updated the building and spot. BUT NOPE... Petit Left Bank is the single greatest addition to Tiburon in the last 10 years, and fills in, and checks off, so many desperately needed things for our community: INCREDIBLY tasty.. check. Our favorite menu of french classics that are both approachable, and for Tiburon won't break the bank vs other options... check. THE BEST STAFF ALL OF YOU, especially the barkeep turned manager, and the sense of real community and comradery, acting like a real family working towards a common goal... check. THE BEST drinks... check. Casual enough to walk-in at the last minute and almost always find a corner at the bar or a table...check. The *BEST* service in general, vs all the misses at other spots... check. It's our go to, our happy place, and beyond loving the food and drinks, we sort of feel like this is a genuine "Norm" spot from Cheers, and it's like we're seeing friends and family that have welcomed us in. This is a very happy place, so well done, thank you, bravo, and cheers!! =)

This was so charming and the staff friendly and enjoyable. I'm new to the area and went on a Sunday afternoon so I wouldnt feel guilty taking a table for one. I will definitely go back! I had French Onion soup and Garlic Fries and even splurged on dessert. It was perfect!
