Soup. Simply amazing.
Awesome ambiance on the patio even in the winter! Would love to bring my pup in the summer! Be prepared to drop some money on the champagne though because there is not a variety of prices on bottles! The lobster bisque is delicious and the duck fat fries are a must!!
Wonderful food, wine list, service, and experience. Would eat here again in a heartbeat. Very accommodating to the severe nut and coconut allergies in our group. A great experience.
My Dad was in town visiting and I wanted a place where we could talk and hear each other that also has great food. I had to lobster bisque and it was delicious. The crab cakes were phenomenal and very fresh. I was impressed. My Dad had the steak and it was cooked properly and tasted great. He also had the French onion soup which looked as delicious as it tasted. The service was incredible. The drinks were excellent. I’m a big fan of this restaurant because it has been consistently good whether I go for dinner or breakfast.

Very disappointing experience. Booked Valentines Day reservations for my wife and I. Two days before the reservation I received a call indicating that we were going to be seated on the “heated” covered patio and reminding me of their $50 cancelation fee. Upon arrival we immediately noticed that everyone on the patio were wearing their winter jackets. We nevertheless decided to be seated and was placed at a table at the far end of the patio where there were no outdoor heaters. I understand it was a cold night, but you cannot claim you have a “heated” patio if it is under 60 degrees. We ordered one drink and told the waitress we needed to leave as we were too cold to continue to the meal. Shockingly, a couple who was seated at an equally as bad table after our arrival was immediately told they would find them a warmer seat. We were never offered such courtesy. The waitress was “cold” and rude when we told her we were leaving. We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and are disappointed we couldn’t make it to the food.
We were very disappointed! We were told our
lamb could not be prepared medium. Only medium rare or well done. I’ve never heard of such. The Lentil side dish was tasteless. The server was inattentive leaving our water glasses empty and never returning to take our drink order. The one ounce complimentary champagne starter was a joke especially when compared to the table next to us who was given what looked to be a three ounce short pour. Tables are too close together and server bumped me on several occasions when attending to the next table.
Although we love petite Chou on any other day, the prix fix food was garbage and we were herded like cattle. Server couldn’t be bothered. For spending $200, it should have been exceptional.
We love Petite Chou! We love the food, the service the ambience, the location. We have never had a a bad experience and we have been there many times. It's our go to place to take friends and family. And one of the best things is that we can take our little Maltese dog year round! They love dogs! And they have the most lovely patio, and in the winter they enclose it and have lots of heaters. It truly is one of the best restaurant experiences in Indianapolis.
We took our daughter to celebrate making the deans list! Perfect place for a celebration, lovely decor, loved the ambiance. Food was excellent, although the tasty duck wings appetizer was a little messy to eat and a little chewy! We had to ask for extra napkins. Otherwise the steak frites, crab cakes and mussels were excellent. Great wine list. Petite Chou is definitely a special occasion place as we thought it was expensive.
We think of Petite Chou for brunch yet it is equally lovely for dinner! Attentive but not hovering service. Delicious mussels, chicken crepe beautifully prepared and the frites are perfection. Chicken paillard a tiny bit dry. Excellent wine and champagne by the glass.
The server had a wonderful personality and was attentive without being intrusive. Just what you want with a special meal. My steak came out overdone, not something from a French restaurant where steak frites is a classic. But it was an excellent steak.
This restaurant is a hidden gem in Broad Ripple, the food was excellent and the cocktails were just as good. We will definitely be back!
Outstanding food and service always. Although it’s known for being the best brunch in the city , this tiny French Bistro is the perfect cozy dinner spot. The lighting music ambiance is all A+++

awsome as always. They have the best mussels in town! the broth is fantastic, sopping it up with their crusty bread is an added bonus and the frites are delicious as well. I look forward to mussel season so I always get this in the winter and share a salad.
One of the best restaurants in Indianapolis. The old fashioned was excellent, the mushroom toast appetizer was outstanding. Had a chicken entree that was merely "very good". Overall, a fantastic experience. Will be coming back regularly!
Excellent as always. The Coq au Vin dish served only on Wednesdays is wonderful.
The food is always great...and the menu represents something different from all of the other choices. The only thing better than the food...the people. They always take great care of me.
We love Petite Chou, no matter what meal is being served, but our most recent visit was specifically to try the coq au vin, a special served only on Wednesdays. It was delicious, as was the chewy bread set out at the beginning of the meal and the fabulous crepe suzette at the end. The ambiance is incomparable in Indianapolis; it truly has the feel of a bistro in Paris.
A nice French concept restaurant in the Patachou family. Our waiter had excellent knowledge of wines and wasn't intrusive. I had the mussels and frittes, which were very good, fresh, with a nice broth.

It was the perfect place for a late night dinner date. We sat outside on the patio which was lovely and perfect. The champagne was delicious and the cheeseboard and mussels were amazing. We will be back.

Love Petite Chou! It is quaint and reminiscent of Paris. The food was tasty and the server attentive.
It was a pleasant experience. I could not recommend the foie gras to anyone who likes the real thing. Theirs is more like liverworst and comes from Kentucky of all places. Also, some actual French music would be better than the golden oldies that they were playing. If they want to be a French restaurant, then do it right.
