Persephone West Bank
I loved the look of this restaurant. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine, ok, two. We all ordered salads that were unique and delicious. We all enjoyed our entrees. The only disappointment was they were out of the dessert we wanted which was strange because we had a 6:30 reservation and it was Valentines Day.
Great food and service. Close to our condo. Perfect.
Valentine’s dinner . Very nice place .. I felt like I was in a Parisian or Viennese restaurant . Delicious food, great service , beautiful ambiance .
Food was delicious! Enjoyed my cocktail very much too. Service was excellent. The only negative issue was the blast of cold air when we someone entered/exited. I hope you will find a solution
I have been coming to Jackson Hole for 25 years and this is without a doubt the best tasting food I have had. The restaurant is very French-looking and comfortable. The food was spectacular.
We had a wonderful dinner. We tried three different salads which were very unique and actually fun to try. We also tried three different entrees which were all delicious. And then there was dessert. My husband didn’t want any but when it came he couldn’t resist and now he talks about when he goes back he is getting the lemoncello dessert
Love the ambiance, the restaurant decor, and the service. The dinner selections are limited but I liked that. My soup appetizer was delicious. My entree was slightly on the bland side. I would definitely go back.
Visited Persephone with two friends. The ambiance was great - jazzy music playing in the background and candlelight at all tables. Comfortable booth seating, although the wooden chairs not as comfortable. We enjoyed the special starter and bib salads. Food was nicely presented and after the right amount of time. Attentive and friendly service!
Need more liquor varieties.....scotch, bourbon, etc.
Good food....interesting menu....
Small menu, but great menu items. Cozy. Beautiful space. Great service.
Great food, service, ambiance. Would definitely go again
This wonderful second location has a real french bistro feel. Takes me back to places in Paris, or Balthazar in Soho, NYC. My date was a vegetarian, and she had Fregola Sarda, a veggie salad with a unique and tastily marinated pasta, the chervils are pea-size pastas. Very good, and not overly filling. I had the Poule Rotit chicken thighs with sweet potato mash and kale. And of course, the coffee and desserts are five star. I prefer the West Bank to the in-town place, much bigger, spacious, high ceiling and white tile and marble everywhere. I am a local, and attest to the upbeat gem of a bistro. Don
Great food. They must expand the menu. Service was slow but it was busy.
Now offering daily specials, and rotating new offerings in!
3 of us dined, and only one had a good food experience. The waiter described an appetizer that sounded great, we ordered it, only to be told that they were out of it (before 6pm). The steak was really tough, the salad nicoise was unlike any I’ve ever had - not in a good way. A big disappointment.
We truly are very sorry you did not enjoy your experience at Persephone. I would like to clarify that we don't serve salad nicoise. We do serve salad Lyonnaise which is very different, and that must have been where your confusion arose. We also serve a local bavette cut of steak, which is incredibly tender & flavorful, which typically gets excellent reviews but perhaps not what you were expecting . If you ever return I would happily get you a gift card so we could improve your experience!
Best new restaurant in Jackson. Outstanding!
A delightful surprise on Jackson Hole’s West Bank!
We dined at Persephone West Bank to celebrate a close friends engagement. Our server was very gracious and the kitchen sent out a lovely appetizer and dessert. Great space to congregate and cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back.
The kurobuta porchetta is one of the best entrees served in Jackson Hole.
Amazing cocktails, appetizers, entrees and their presentation. All A+. Beautiful space and wonderful service. We are regulars for breakfast and lunch in Jackson and the new West Bank location. Our first dinner did not disappoint and far exceeded our expectations. Excellent job Persephone! We are so excited to have you nearby and now open for dinner.
Would not expect less from the Persephone owners. Great French bistro!
I think the wait staff need to dress differently for the evening dinner service. Nothing fancy but more professional than a white t-shirt. The restaurant is casual but a simple shirt would be an improvement.
The wait staff were all quite good. Attentive and personable when in contact yet in the background when not needed. We thought the menu was a bit limited though that is understandable for the restaurant size. The tables were a bit close together. The food was excellent and a delightful surprise. I had been thinking if there was any need for altering the wonderful flavors of the porchetta, but we agreed that was not the case in the slightest, and only then even realized there were no salt and pepper shakers to begin with! We were both extremely pleased with our meals and dining experience.
This is a great new spot on the West Bank. The meat and fish is excellent quality and cooked to perfection! The staff is super friendly as well. The Persephone bread and house made butters and sauces were an excellent way to get the meal started, though I think it should be complimentary or available upon request and not a starter to order. Many restaurants in town boast that they serve Persephone bread and it is complimentary. However, if management doesn't change the bread to be complimentary, it is still absolutely worth ordering! The atmosphere of the restaurant is phenomenal...they did a fantastic job designing the space and almost every table has one side as a cozy booth. If you are looking for a quiet and romantic evening to yourselves, I would go at a slower time because the tables are somewhat close together along the banquettes. I am excited to see how their menu, staff, and unique flare evolve over the coming months. We'll be back!
Persephone West Bank is a great addition to the options on the West Bank. It has a bistro feel and seating similar to a French bistro. The service was proficient and properly paced. Main entree was great. So happy to see Persephone West open on the west bank. Wine selection and pricing are just another plus to customers.
The atmosphere is French bistro and very cute. Our server was very attentive. Our food was very tasty and good quality. I would recommend this place. Not five star because I thought the drinks were on the expensive side and bread ( this is a bakery) was extra.
Charming, delicious... a perfect sensible dinner. All (every single one) of their animal proteins is responsibly sourced, the dishes are beautifully composed and nothing is 'too' fancy ;) Enjoy!
The food, ambiance, and service are all executed with beautiful attention to detail. A fun, casual night out or a special occasion treat.
Excellent French Bistro --
a longtime favorite of locals in Town and now fast becoming so at their West Bank location.
Bread & Butter is divine (as are ALL their pastries and breads).
Cozy on a wintry evening -- my husband wondered, though, if they could perhaps dim the lighting in the evening? That would be a nice touch!
Wonderful food and service in a beautiful restaurant. A welcome addition to the West Bank.
Food was delicious, however...portions were a little small. Service was 5 star. We will return!’
Persephone was incredible! The dinner service was incredible. Servers were helpful, food was interesting and delicious. A total grand slam!
YUMMMMM. We ordered almost everything on the menu but I got too distracted to continue taking pictures. Our server Blythe knew the menu and was so sweet, she truly made our evening perfect. This place is family friendly, vegan friendly, foodie or not foodie friendly, tastebud friendly. Start with the bread with the ricotta AND apricot Mostarda... YUM. The yams, little gems, and buratta salad are all a must. Yams especially (between the 6 of us, we did 4 orders... ya, that good). Chicken dish was so moist and wonderful, steak frites was everyone’s favorite, and the veg pasta and pork shoulder were right up there as well. Dessert... DO IT ALL. with an extra side of ice cream and a cappuccino. Check it out, they definitely know what they’re doing. 10 stars if I could!
Perfect ambiance, service, and food! Cannot wait to return.
At last! Persephone for dinner! Burrata salad was fantastic.... as was the steak frites! Had leftover steak, but that’s good. What a welcome addition to dining on the West Side.
Beautiful setting for a delicious meal. Bravo.
Food was good but could be improved. Salads outstanding as their lunch salads are. Chicken was a bit rubbery, cauliflower dish flavorful but a bit overcooked. They need to figure out a winter solution for the front door. The tables in the first half of the room get cold with the door opening and closing. Our waiter was terrific, learning the dinner business but well on his way. Attentive, efficient, and friendly. Lots of potential here and we will definitely support it. We need another restaurant option on the West Bank!
Really enjoyable evening, and the food was spot on! That bread!!
Just outstanding. A genuine Parisian experience right here in Jackson. The food was inventive and delicious. Great wine selection and cocktails. Loved everything about it.
