It was my 50th birthday and they knew it, but nothing special was done. Our meal was okay, $400 plus tip, the lighting is almost non existent, music was too loud, waitress was AWFUL!!!! We drove from Wilson and will NEVER go back!!!!
Pleasant enjoyable upscale dining experience. Will return
My Pinot Noir was delicious. My salad was delicious. My Birthday dessert was delicious. However, my salmon was horribly undercooked...twice. Neither of us e enjoyed the Augratin potatoes.
Very nice! I loved the scenery and how everyone was dressed up. Highly recommend.
My wife and I wanted to have a nice romantic dinner with good food. We have been to Perry's before, but ordered something different. The food was GREAT, just wished the waiter offered more information on any specials they have for that day and explain the different foods and how they are prepared. Overall it was a terrific experience and will definitely go back.
Service was very slow. Took over an hour to get my food; food was amazing though.
Took forever to get through our meal. Everything from water, to wine, and the meal were delayed. Pork chop bites appetizer was dry. Steak ordered medium rare. Came out medium but served on hot cast iron which took it to medium well. Definitely not worth the time or money.
Terrible dinning experience. Our server was over worked, stressed and not able to attend to our table. We waited over and hour for food that came out with two dishes somewhat hot and the other cold. It was miserable.
I visit Perry's often, it is my favorite steak house but last night it seemed overbooked. I have never seen it so full and cramped. We were in the glassed room in the far back and there were far too many tables for the guests or waitstaff to comfortably move around. People were on top of each other and my guests were uncomfortable. This was disappointing as I made reservations weeks ago. I will stick to non-weekend visits.
It was 37th birthday and my first time at Perry’s. I was really looking forward to dinner. Unfortunately me and my guest had a horrible experience. We waited 2 hours to eat. Our order was taken at 7:30 and we didn’t eat until 9:45. We talked to several managers and everyone stated they were checking on our orders but we still didn’t receive our food in a good time. I Prius will never visit this place again
Worst ex I have ever had from there.
Overrated. Too many people in the main dining room. Had to scream to my date. Lighting way too low. I mean ambiance is nice but dark is dark. Good way overpriced. I had the signature pork chops and ended up having it taken off because of the saltiness. My beau had surf n turf, fried food at the local fish joint would have been better.
We had to wait in a tiny lobby for more than 20 minutes past our reservation. I don’t mind waiting a bit but not stuffed in a corner. Then we were seated at a table that was so close to the other tables (during Covid) that our chairs were touching the other diners’ chairs. The room was clearly not intended for all the tables they jammed in there We asked for another table but were told it was not possible. They had run out of some wines. The food was just ok. Steaks were over salted and the large vegetable platter had 3 tiny carrots and 2 squash halves. The value for both our time and money is just not there.
Our night was awesome. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. Our waiter Devon was great, he gave us suggestions that we took and we were not disappointed.
Over all nice atmosphere the food selections weren’t the greatest; fried shrimp fried too hard, pork dinner too much fat not tender n juicy
We were seated right beside a large party that was loud. But other than that the first experience there was nice, food was phenomenal.
Good food, great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
All the food was outstanding. Really liked the barbecue octopus appetizer and the filet with bacon marmalade and blue cheese was fabulous.
Perry’s is amazing! The service was top notched and the food was amazing. I will definitely be back!
Being a repeat customer (formerly from Birmingham), I was disappointed in our experience. We had to send food back for being cold. We sat near the kitchen and watched food sit and sit. We had a server who was learning, and he was dumped to attend our table alone. Dirty dishes piled up. Medium rare food came out burnt. Salmon, though grilled flipped on the plate like it was cardboard. How do you burn MEDIUM RARE? After we complained food was burned, all of a sudden the lights went down so low we could barely see our food so we used our phone flashlights to see. It was a horrible experience. There were a number of tables near us having similar experiences.
With a 600+ check, we found out our table was tagged as a negative table. This after a $100 tip was left for the trainee. We did that because he tried. I guess they don’t care as long as they have your card.
I doubt that we will return. We were told that our bad service and poor kitchen turnout of food, was our fault. This experience was not what we expected for a birthday celebration.
Next time, we will go to a restaurant that quality is their standard.
Went to Perry’s to celebrate a friend’s retirement, looking forward to a high-end experience. The restaurant itself is beautiful, well appointed and great ambiance. Our waitress was very good, though you could tell she had little experience in high end dining she worked very hard to make our experience special. The restaurant fell short in its back up staff, bread was basically thrown at us, landing in the middle of my menu, I had to ask for water three times. We all order steaks and two of them came basically raw not medium rare as ordered, this is always tough as the one either had to wait and eat cold steak or go on and eat alone. Once re-delivered the food was good I would highly recommend the bone in filet it was excellent.
I’m thinking that our experience was not the high end service you expect from a restaurant like Perry’s due to lack of staffing, but when you spend over $500 for three people you expect a higher level of service.
Sat down on crumbs… a lot of them not just a bit. Both had to stand and brush off our clothes
50.00 med rare steak was over cooked but took so long to arrive just ate it bc starving
Side came out cold. They remade was better warm
1st round drinks were great. 2nd round Drinks got comp’d bc they arrived tasting different than first round and remade. Remake was great but arrived after table was cleared
Salad was lettuce dressing and slice of bacon on top- pretty basic
Just a rough experience… they tried but for those prices service and food should be much better
For us one and done
We enjoyed our experience at Perry’s. They made the birthday very special. Bri and Reggie were very helpful and informative.
Best filet I ever had! Wonderful service and experience.
Bre our server was so helpful, accommodating and friendly. She made excellent food and drink suggestions. Bre managed our evening with perfect pace and time of each course. We had a wonderful date night!
Nice atmosphere, comfortable, very attentive service. Pork chop was very good, steak good but not great. scallop appetizer was disappointing, tasty but small and scallops slightly overdone for my taste. I will try it again with different choices.
The time it took to deliver our food to our table was over an hour and we got there way before the crowd. At 5pm! And the dining room was cold beyond comfort.
It was a very good, first time, experience. The food was exceptional, and the wait staff was on point. The pork chop was cooked to perfection, and the complimentary dessert samples that we received for our anniversary were delicious.
They are too expensive for every single side to be sold separately.
Absolutely fabulous food and environment. Amazing experience.
Horrible experience, you get better service at DMV! The food was good, however, you had to wait a long period of time to get it. Wine selection was good and the bartender makes a great old fashion. Dinner for two was $275, not including tip. I expect top notch service for that price.
Engagement dinner was spectacular with great service and food. This is at the top of our list for restaurants .
The meal and service were great.
We chose outdoor seating not realizing it was next to Edwards Mill Rd, a heavily traveled road. In addition to the traffic noise, we were also seated over the area where trash was carted out, and it was very noisy as well. Two of our steaks were overcooked, and it took awhile to get new steaks, but nothing was offered for the inconvenience.
Excellent food and atmosphere. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food we received. Will definitely return for a Sunday brunch.
I am unsure if we had a new attendant, but he does need some help in working with different group sizes. His name was Jordan. He took our beverage order. Came back for the appetizer order and disappeared. We had to ask one of the other servers to send him to our table to get our dinner order. I then inquired about the Senior Menu, he said he had to check with a manager about that. He finally came back with it. Upon completion of our meal, we had to have someone to send him back so that we could pay. He said it took so long because he had to ring up the Senior Meal to our ticket.
I was there for my birthday last month and everything was Perfect. Please have Jordan to be more attentive to the guests.
We enjoyed our experience for our date night. Our server Jason was amazing. He connected with us and made the evening good. The food was amazing. Well definitely recommend and will be returning.
Great food and great vibe. We will be back. Love sitting outside
