Nothing about our experience was consistent with the price point
Austin, our server was very short and dry. I wouldn’t say he was rude just not the ideal server especially when you’re spending almost $200 and this is the place I chose to celebrate my birthday so I expected a lot more friendliness. He also did not present my pork chop to me as it should’ve been, explaining the parts of it to me ie; eyelash. Eyebrow etc..... the overall experience was okay but I will not return here.
Courtney was amazing!
I got the surf and turf W/ pasta. The pasta was mushy and they put so much sauce that my lobster was over powered with the sauce taste. Meat was chewy. Calamari tasted like nachos but was missing the chez sauce. The escargot were bad also the little bread things were so had we could have broken a window with it. We ordered drinks and they were out of the whisky we wanted not a good experience.
It was fine, nothing extraordinary , but just fine.
I thought the lunch Pork Chop portion was smaller here than at the other locations in the Houston area (I went to the memorial location on a Wednesday but the Woodlands the Friday before) I thought the Woodlands lunch Pork Chop was of higher quality tasting meat and larger portion size.
Our server and service was great! Nice ambiance! The manager James was very friendly and accommodating for what we needed. Would definitely dine there again.
The food was great, our server was the best. However the lighting in the restaurant was so dark, I know it’s an upscale restaurant but it was hard to concentrate with the lighting so dark. Also the ambience was a bit to quiet, when I laughed and sorry to say I laugh With gusto; it’s just my nature, I was scared I was going to get kicked out. Maybe some lighter music in the background. Other than that it was an exceptional dinning experience for my birthday.
Great experience for overall! Say at the bar and it was a calm and quiet atmosphere. Food was delicious and drinks were definitely worth it
Great service, great food! Lived our server Jessie.
The food was good but the service was horrible. We barely saw our waitress and it took forever to order. It was my birthday and I doubt that I’ll ever come back.
We have often enjoyed Perry’s and did this time as well but there were some differences. The meat and pork dishes were outstanding. The snapper was dry and had an odd seasoning. It was the same price as the signature pork chop. It might be due to the pandemic but the ambience seemed dull and lackluster. We felt as if we were sitting at a table with four chairs that could be anywhere; not a luxury eatery. Our server was the highlight: knowledgeable, fun and upbeat. We enjoyed our evening - just a couple of things that underwhelmed.
From the time you enter Perry’s they really know how to treat a customer. Friendly, courteous, and professional. Bar staff is great, wait staff also great. And the food, fantastic!!! I highly recommend Perry’s Memorial City!
My experience at la centera Perry’s was much better..but over all an ok lunch.
Always enjoy our visits to this location. Can’t wait to attend pork chop friday again.
Nice atmosphere, good food. We always go for your famous pork shop. Great ambient for business. Like to go on Fridays with my son. We also like your lobster bisque, this is so delicious
Great food and service
We had an nice anniversary dinner and their service was beyond great !
The food was great and the service was awesome!!
Went on New Years Day. To our surprise they had a Friday lunch special. Pork chop 26oz. $16! It was delicious. They have this lunch special every Friday. Superior service! Will be back!
SERVER WAS VERY GOOD AND WAS FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY GIVEN IT WAS NYE.
Food was great. Wonderful wine recommendations. Perry’s is a favorite for us!
New Year’s Eve. - the bathrooms were like a dirty truck stop. No toilet paper, very dirty. It made our dinner disgusting. Trash on floor and sinks were dirty.
Everything was excellent. inky thing was the online menu was not same as when we arrived. Wife wanted lamb chops, so when i entered "... best lamb chops in Houston...", Perry's came up. When we arrived, fixed menu for New Year's eve dinner. To late to make a change. But again, everything was very good. I just don't like surprises.
Chose Perry’s for our “special night out” for NYE with the kiddos during the pandemic. We were treated like elementary school children with regards to the fixed price menu, which we expressed no issue with. My husband’s ribeye looked like a piece of coal, ordered at medium temp *even that is borderline overcooked in my book*, I had the bacon wrapped filet, clearly an inferior quality of meat used for the masses at NYE. It was as tough as a boot. I expressed this and nothing was done about it. Asked to speak to a manager, he removed a small portion of the inedible meat. I ate cold whipped potatoes for my entree, period. Super disappointed as I have frequented Perrys since I was in college...a solid 22 years ago. I should know better than to expect the best on one of the busiest nights, but the service and how they took care of the situation was subpar and super disappointing.
I was very disappointed with the food. The steaks were cold and not cooked well. The vegetables and mashed potatoes-I felt like I was in a cafeteria. The waitress was wonderful and accommodating but it got to the point where we were embarrassed to ask her to change something or fix something else. We have dined at Perry’s many times-perhaps it was because it was New Years.
We enjoyed everything especially the Rib eye steak. We have heard multiple ravings on the pork chop and my husband got it, but for us it was not all the hype we heard. I don't think we would order that again but definitely the rib eye steak. Our server was amazing and knowledgeable and friendly!
As always, the tastiest pork chops. Waitress was very helpful in us understand the menu and specials.
Excellent service. Food was "out of this world". We had the Perry's pork shop and that was .....I have no words to describe it !!!! The Calamari appetizer was also excellent !!!
Day after Christmas dinner.
Their food and service are always excellent! Best pork chop in town!
Very good food and service considering the COVID-19 situation.
Everything was excellent! We enjoyed our food and the ambiance.
Great holiday lunch with the family. The service was great and quick.
The famous pork chops, creme brûlée, potatoes au gratin, and lobster bisque was very delicious!
Waiter Austin was robotic not friendly know it all seemed upset we didn’t take his suggestions on food and wine we didn’t order alcohol repeatedly had to ask for refills on soda and ice tea empty cups were left disappointed in the lobster Mac n cheese
Pasta was great however that was the worst steak I ever got from a steakhouse. Very tough. I will never go back
