   I've been many, many, many times in Austin. This was our first time at the Grapevine location. It was beautiful and a lovely experience. So glad I have Open Table on speed dial to make last minute Friday lunch reservations for 7 in a matter of minutes. Also glad there was room for us too! Almost everyone had the pork chop lunch at the table. The newbies to Perry's were very impressed. We got a couple of salads (wedge and pear) and fried asparagus to share around the table. The creme brulee and vanilla ice cream were the favorites among the desserts that were ordered. We also had a five year old with us that the wait staff took very good care of! Thanks for being such a great place to celebrate one of us getting their Masters degree from TWU that day!

   Everyone had the filet mignon which was prepared exactly as ordered, as usual, with our favorite sides of au gratin potatoes and asparagus. We prefer bar area seating where Jackie took great care of us the entire time. The entire staff is friendly and efficient. Perry's never disappoints in every aspect. It's our favorite steakhouse in the DFW area.

    My husband and I went to Perry's for our anniversary this year- we were very excited about it. The food was wonderful as usual, but it took 40 minutes to get 2 hamburgers. Once we got them, the waitress never checked back in with us- she checked on the tables on either side of us, but never came back over to our table (though we tried to get her attention). This resulted in us waiting an extra 20 minutes to get the bill and leave. The rose petals on the table were nice and the free dessert for our anniversary was appreciated, but the wasted time was unwarranted. The table next to us ordered a $180 bottle of wine, whcih was never brought to them. Then there was some conversation about how the ticket got lost. Honestly, the service and time to get your food at this location isn't very impressive- especially when there are so many other good options in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area.
