   the appetizers were atrocious. The Calamari looked like it had been fried in week old oil at McDonalds. No offer was made to substitute it or take it off the bill. the caesar salad had heat in it. What awful cooking school did they go to come up with that. If you're going to ruin a salad like that at least tell your customers. The steak was OK. The Cocktail tasted like a jolly rancher candy. $300 with tip for 2 people. Outrageous. To top it off the table looked like it had been in a bar fight. Needless to say, I will never walk into that place again. There are many great steak houses in Austin. I'll stick with Jeffries.

   Everything was perfect! John was our waiter and he is by far the best waiter we have ever had! He was so kind, professional, knowledgeable and just amazing. The food was delicious from our appetizer of stuffed mushrooms to our Orange cream cheesecake. When we come back to Austin this will be our go to restaurant for sure!! Congratulations To all!!

   We had the best lunch! That pork chop was speechless. The experience, I mean, who can beat it. This review is not for brownie points, it's a statement of fact! I will eat at Perry's Steakhouse at every opportunity!

   Beer was room temperature, server forgot to put in our sides order, had to wait for a pen for 15 min after the server dropped off the receipt.

   Our waiter David went above and beyond!!! He was so attentive and explained everything so well. Next time I come to this Perry’s i’m going to make sure to ask for David because he made our experience the BEST!!! Plus the food is always amazing!

   One person ordered the wagyu strip. Another ordered the wagyu ribeye. Both steaks looked identical when they came out. When I asked the runner about it, he looked at the slip in his packed and said “that’s a strip and that’s a ribeye”. I said “ok, that’s what they’re supposed to be, but these look identical”. He walked away.

   I am really not even a meat lover but was inspired to go here after a friend told me about their famous pork chop. While the prices are high, we did not regret our decision. Garrett our server was truly phenomenal and the food was all flavorful and perfectly cooked. My friend said the lobster bisque was the best she ever had!! They have Friday lunch and Sunday night specials if you are looking to spend a little less.
