First time attending and it was wonderful! From the moment you check-in until you leave, the experience is great! Food is pricey, but it’s worth it every once in awhile. I ordered the ‘Surf & Turf’ (angel hair pasta, steak pieces, and lobster) and the ‘Peachy Glen’ (drink). It normally comes with tomato basil sauce but I exchange it with Alfredo sauce. It was tooooo good. The steak was well done and it was SUPERB! Very tender, crispy edges, and not burnt at all!! Not a big steak eater, but I fell in love with that one. The lobster was cooked just right!! It’s very nice on the inside! My waitress was helpful and respectful! Just a great vibe overall. Good to go on a date to. I recommend it! This was located in Downtown Austin, TX. I will be back soon! Thank you for your service!
Food and service is GREAT, highly recommend ! enjoy
Everything was fantastic! The entire experience from checking in to immaculate level of service was five stars.
I have no complaints! Everything was amazing from the food to the staff My husband and I celebrated our 7th Anniversary and we were both very pleased! Food was delicious it was well worth the money. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re trying to enjoy good food and make great memories for special occasions!!
Always a great dining experience at Perry’s!
We are regulars at Perry’s and brought some out of town friends with us this time. They had a wonderful time.
Slightly pricey, but worth every penny. The meat was perfect and the drinks were fantastic!
Due to open ceilings it is somewhat loud. Steak was over cooked. Dessert took 25 minutes to get to the table but then check was delivered immediately. Would not recommend for the $$$.
Wonderful food and service!
It is an upper grade restaurant but compare to other of the same I think their hospitality was not up to the standard or probably it is accidental since we are going through a special situation now. Table arrangement was very poor ( since it was reserved for 8 peoples and mentioned about special occasion) and there are lack of attention in my observation but that could be very relative. It was a birthday party but no attention has been given. Look like we went to a regular restaurant for food not a fine cuisine. Spending close to thousands for 6 persons require better treatment.
The ambiance setup a perfect birthday dinner.
This was the worst experience I have ever had at a Perry’s anywhere. We were taken to a third story overflow room and seated at a folding table, similar to the ones you would use foe a banquet. My knees were against the folding legs all night.
Despite that we all decided to shoulder through given that it is Covid and social distancing. The lights in our area then went out and after repeated attempts to ask them to restore them, two chandeliers were turned on but half of our table was still in the dark.
Again we decided to continue with dinner. The manager never came to apologize or offer to switch our table. When the food arrived every streak was cooked incorrectly and the pork chop was dry.
By this time we still had half lighting at the table and no appearance from the manager still. We asked for the manager, who finally showed up and apologized. After acknowledging our horrible experience the manager did comp the meal because no one enjoyed the food or experience, but it wasn’t without having to repeatedly ask for his appearance and finally letting him know we would pay only for the alcohol we had.
The food was delicious even if the steak had a little too much salt (I'd always heard you couldn't over salt a steak, but this one was). The portions were enormous. I got 2 leftover meals out of it. The service was stupendous.
The ambiance was awesome and our server Angie was terrific
I ordered off menu and the chef promoted a delicious chicken breast for me .
My only complaint was the price of the wine
I wish I had gone to the bar and ordered it myself since it was happy hour.... it was just simple Perry’s wine and it added up to $20 a class X two people X six glasses…..
Thant took the Bill above the amount I wanted to spend
Great experience. Delicious food!!
of all the pork chops ive had there this one was the best!
Wonderful food!! Best Service!! Sharon is delightful!
Forcing me write 50 characters is very dissatisfied
We were in town and so excited that we could eat at Perry's Friday pork chop luncheon. The food was amazing and John did an excellent job of taking care of us. We decided to take some of our food home so that we could indulge in dessert. Be sure to make a reservation for the Friday luncheon. You will be so glad that you did.
Server was amazing! Food was amazing! Managers Great! For my friend birthday it was incredibly great she enjoyed it for her first time being there!
First visit in a long time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Quiet atmosphere, great food & service.
Food and server were outstanding! Management could have been better, manager working the front desk seemed bothered and annoyed. Besides that loved it here and will most definitely come back!
We celebrated two birthdays and we had a good time. We had a group of eight people and everyone enjoyed their meal.
Had a wonderful time. Great service and our waiter was amazing. It was an anniversary and valentines date I had planned, so thought something special would happen since it was asked about a special occasion, but other than that it was awesome. Really enjoyed our time and will definitely be back again!
The food was good but my boyfriends steak was well done when he ordered medium rare (barely any pink whatsoever noticeable). We didn’t want to be rude by asking them to make another, but I would expect a steak house this nice to cook the steak as ordered. Otherwise the server was nice. Menu was condensed due to recent storm, we didn’t find out until after being seated.
Everything was great they had no bone in steaks which was upsetting but was still great.
Our waiter Dallas did a great job serving us.
We had a great evening with excellent service. Perry's has figured out how to deliver an excellent experience even in COVID times. If you have not been recently you should come back!
The asparagus was great! Temp on the filet was perfect.
I wish I remembered our servers name! She was phenomenal. The food was incredible and the overall atmosphere was cozy. It was the perfect outing after everything being shut down for the week.
So thankful Perry's was open during the blackout. Food quality did not disappoint - even with the weather/water conditions.
Wonderful food, amazing staff! Everything was absolutely top notch!!
Thank you for re-opening on 2/17 amid the city-wide power and water crisis. Our hotel ran out of food and we were struggling to find dinner. Grabbing takeout was a tasty treat in an otherwise gloomy situation. We appreciate everything your staff overcame to provide such great service.
Y’all didn’t call me to tell me y’all were closed. Had to drive 30 minutes on icy roads for a Valentine’s Day dinner in Austin and showed up to a sign saying we are closed. Would appreciate a free meal.
Would recommend this location for a nice evening out. Elegant. And service was great!
Great service, fabulous food, and such a good time. Perry’s rocks it everytime!
Not sure where to eat it was my first visit to Austin.
