Perry's Steakhouse & Grille - Cinco Ranch/Katy Ratings and Reviews
Nice restaurant. Good food. Overall, I think waitstaff in the Katy area are not as good as those in other areas of Houston. Maybe it's because there are fewer restaurants to choose from in Katy? They aren't as friendly, cheerful or attentive... can't be picky in the burbs.
As usual the food was very good. However the only issue we had was the safety of when they were making Bananas Foster’s for another table which was too close to us and they had no room to move and I had to ask him to move because the fire could actually burn one of us from the fire. safety should be first and they should look at that when they are producing this great dessert
We unfortunately had an awful experience. Our waiter was horrible, took 45 minutes to get our appetizer, and our waiter was never around. We noticed other tables had their waiter around nonstop, but we could never find ours. After waiting 45 minutes for our oysters, we ordered our main courses, again it was a long wait, then the entrees came out cold. They took them back to warm them up, but then it was just over cooked seafood and steak. This was too bad, the atmosphere is very nice, but at the price point there, you shouldn’t have food or service issues.
We are regulars at the Sugar Land Perry's and love it. We go there specifically for the Pork Chop!
We decided to try the Perry's in Cinco Ranch and we were very disappointed in the Pork Chop. It was small and dry. We will continue to go to Perry's but only the Sugar Land location. It is just to expensive to take the chance on going back to Cinco. We have always been very satisfied at the S.L. location.
Food and all was very good. Waiter did good as well
However, we had to fend of others (including managers) to not take our plates away while we were still eating. 4 times.
First time they actually picked up my daughter's plate while she still had food and was eating. We stopped them.
2nd time at least they asked if they could take them, yet all of us still were eating
3rd time they asked my wife if she wanted a box to go, while she was still eating.
4th time I let them take my plate eventhough other two were still working on theirs. Note: usually a fine restaurant does not take any until all are done.
When we were done, they did take the remaining plates.
Note that we were far from slow. The three tables immediately around us had started before us (not by much), and they all left after us. So it was not us taking too much time.
Food was excellent. I thought the service was a little slow considering it was 4:30 and the place was barely occupied. Service was generally very good, but then the server added two soft drinks to the bill that were not ours. Only took a couple minutes to take off, but it was a bother.
Food and ambiance were good.
Plenty of parking options a nice benefit too.
Nice bar while you wait. Had a little bit of a delay getting reservation situated and waiters were all business ( could have been warmer, friendlier) but all in all food and service were good. Positive experience and definetely recommend it.
Overall it was just ok. Considering how much my bill was I think there is many better place to spend 200.00 for two people. The service was very good. My date had the Bass and it was delicious. We had cream corn and the serving was of large in size. I had the filet and was like eating a piece of leather. I would of sent it back but this was a first date and did not want to seem like a jerk. It also was very loud mainly because they set us next to a family with children. My overall review would say pass on this restaurant. There are to many great steak and seafood places that will take your money.
Service was disappointing. We were a party of 11 and would have expected better service. We were asked to wait until the 11 of us were present to be seated and so we are standing blocking the doorway with elderly people in our party. What is the use of a reservation? Then waited for long time to have our order taken and even longer to get our food. We are then forced to pay a fixed and large tip because we are a larger group. Waiters were very courteous but the waiting was just too much. Don't think I am coming back.
