Food was phenomenal! Great setting for any occasion.
Great SF restaurant to take my bestie to while she was visiting from Buffalo.
My favorite Italian restaurant in San Francisco. It’s hip, centrally located and great food!
The food was really super and the service really great. What's especially nice is that the noise level is reasonable so good for special occasions or when you want to talk with ease.
Absolutely delicious! We started with the veal and it was so tender. Also got the browned butter carrots which was a side as a starter. They had a little sweet taste to them I think from the browned, but still tasty.
For the mains the pappedelle pasta with short rib ragu was amazing. It was a close second to my all time favorite wild boar ragu with pappedelle pasta I had in Tusacany, Italy. Pasta was perfect al dente.
My husband got the green garlic ricotta gnocchi. I’m usually not a gnocchi fan and find them too heavy, but these were light and heavenly! I actually think this may have been the better pasta of the two which I can’t beleive I’m saying.
My husband had a couple cocktails and enjoyed them too (unfortunately I couldn’t indulge in any bc I’m pregnant).
Lastly, we never get dessert at restaurants because they are usually an after thought and there are so many good local places instead. We decided to try the dark chocolate bonet suggested by our server. SOO glad we didn’t skip this dessert!! It was phenomenal.
Service was spot on and this placed delivered on all ends more than I expected. It was lively even early starting at 5:45pm and clearly had a good following of people. Highly recommend!
Food was exquisite and service was on point. I had the homemade tagliatelle porcini and pork and my wife had the gnocchi’s was great
Figs had no flavor. The duck was great! The pasta was disappointing. Excellent service.
As always a wonderful meal. Brain is the perfect wait staff. We are treated like royalty. Would go there any time!
Delicious food and wine! One of my favorite spots in the city and I always have great service!!
Upstairs is just to austere
Came here for our anniversary and they made us feel special. When we arrived the hostess wished us a happy anniversary and gave us a card. The waiter greeted us with happy anniversary. The cocktails were interesting and good. The food was very good. We started with the summer peppers and marinated strawberries, both were very good. We then shared the Raviora - pasta filled with truffle ricotta. Then we shared the beef cheek, this was also good. Service very friendly and attentive. Nice surroundings. When we left the hostess again wished us a happy anniversary.
We had a nice dinner. But, I have a broken leg and they made us stand in the front despite having a reservation for quite a while.
Service was great. Only downside was the initial seating upstairs by a loud party with curtains blowing into us. They graciously moved us downstairs and were very attentive and gave us a nice complimentary anniversary dessert. Overall great dinner due to attentive staff.
We celebrated our three decades plus anniversary with great food and a wonderful atmosphere. Thank you, Perbacco!
Year after year, the food never ceses to amaze! The new sommelier is fabulous and fun!
Got the Pasta and Gelato. Not too big of a portion, but big enough to make me full. Really Good. :)
Always excellent food and service. Perbacco is my go to place when it is time for a special meal with friends.
Total experience was wonderful!! Staff were very friendly, accommodating, service was flawless, food - nothing was left on any of our plates (appetizers, dinner, accompaniment, desserts)!!
You will be completely satisfied with your meal!
Freshly tasting homemade pasta!!! The flavors here resembled a sidewalk trattoria in Rome. Thanks for a great meal.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. It was a lovely dinner. My first time there, but it came highly recommended.
Great culinary experience
Great culinary experience
As always, the pasta was excellent! Great service too!
Anniversary celebration. Was able to get table I requested. Received sweet anniversary card from them. Had fabulous time. Perfect meal. Thank you so much!!!
I am never disappointed when I have lunch at Perbacco. The food was great. I would highly recommend the Polpette, (meatballs) and the beet salad.
Halibut slightly overlooked but overall top notch.
Super loud - it's challenging to hear other people in the downstairs section on the right hand side -- next time I'll ask to not be seated there
We are just back from a trip to Rome, Italy and Perbacco has better food than 70% of the restaurants we tried. Even people we met in Italy that have been to SF and tried Perbacco agreed.
We really enjoyed our meal. The servers were especially good as was the sommelier.
Quite delicious and lovely!!!
Great to see Umberto!!! Great tie sir👍
So appreciate the generosity 😘😘😘
See you soon!!!
I've ordered the pappardelle on two occasions, and it was delicious.
Always good however the pasta sauces on two different entrees were a bit too salty
Had an amazing three course lunch with an old friend and colleague. Everything is seasonal, fresh. C1: Burrata and Salmon crudo. Both are excellent and the sets for both were delicious. C2: sharing of the parpadelle with pork sugo. C3: fresh John Dory
We did not think it was possible , but our dinner was better than last time! The portions were even bigger. The only negative was they no longer offer charcuterie as an appetizer. But lucky for us that allowed us to try the prosciutto and melons. Simply amazing!! And the service was outstanding. Thanks Perbacco for making our anniversary dinner even more special.
Outstanding food, service, ambiance, wine list. Highly recommended.
Outstanding service, great menu, Special occasion and they made it even more special
Lovely meal as always. Loved the pasta with green peas and mint. My favorite dish there so far. Am going to try to make it at home.
Always consistent, excellent service. Really enjoy the petrale sole main course, although they have modified the recipe now to make it more Mediterranean. The burrata appetizer is terrific!
Fantastic quality and authentic Italian food. A little noisy for a romantic dinner for two, and packed with business types (perhaps a result of the downtown location), but definitely worth the trip. Highly recommended.
Incredible food and incredible atmosphere! If you can, have Adrianna as your server, because your experience will certainly be spectacular!
