Elegante y moderno, con un pie firmemente puesto en el Viejo Mundo. Ésta la atmósfera creada en Perbacco. El restaurante cuenta con una pared de ladrillo original del histórico edificio Hind de 1913, con otros detalles, tales como una superficie de barra y pisos con baldozas de mármol de Carrara. Con 16 asientos en el bar y 7 mesas más íntimas, Perbacco crea una excelente atmósfera para degustar una copa de vino o un aperitivo. El restaurante Perbacco también cuenta con dos áreas de comedor, una en la planta principal y otra más pequeña en el entresuelo, que añade el atractivo de servir como \"teatro\", con ventanas para ver toda la acción que pasa en la cocina de abajo.
El chef Staffan Terje se esfuerza en cocinar comida más de la más alta calidad, reflejando las regiones italianas de Piamonte y Liguria. Salumi, prosciutto y otros embutidos son todos hechos a mano y en casa y son manjares que uno no se puede perder. Una tradición en Piemonte son las pastas de temporada que van desde los raviolis tradicionales hasta los agnolotti más exóticos.                                                       Food was great. Lots of classics, many sugo pasta sauces. Good pasta. I had the melon and cucumber salad and the veal with tuna sauce. Both quite good. The "ugly but good" cookies were as advertised and seemed like a huge portion but they were made of meringue and hazelnuts and clearly meant to be savored with a dessert wine or digestive. In any case, good all the same.

                                                      We had a wonderful dinner. The food was very flavorful, we had the octopus on the appetizers list and it was delicious. I had the gnocchi which was rich and creamy, would definitely recommend. And the mezcal cocktail on their menu was perfectly smoky. It was my husband’s birthday and the host brought a birthday card to the table which I had never seen done before at a restaurant. Loved the small touch.

                                                      Fabulous food as always! Chef’s table tonite and the food as always was outstanding! Octopus is a must try, pastas were amazing - Everything and the wine, friends and family were amazing!

                                                      Perbacco is a dimly lit, more Northern Italian style restaurant. Our server Joey gave us a detailed overview of the fresh fruit and vegetables in season for California and the restaurant’s mission. He made sure we made the correct choices for our dishes, and eagerly answered every question we had. I had the pappardelle with the lamb ragu and it was AMAZING. The ingredients were fresh and exciting, using mint and orange to balance the robust flavor of the lamb. My mom and I were so pleased with the food, wine pairing, service, and overall experience. I would recommend Perbacco for date night, dinner with family, and for anyone wanting to try the flavors of Northern Italy with California’s freshest produce.

                                                      This is a Financial District mainstay that I have enjoyed for years. I was happy to see that it filed up for lunch, despite the San Francisco ""doom loop". The service was fine, nothing outstanding for a high end restaurant. The pasta was very tasty, but, $30 for a simple bowl of pappardelle? Food cost $1.50.

                                                      It was one of the best meals I’ve had in years Umberto, the staff from the host to the bartender to the waiter were all beyond spectacular, I am telling all my friends to go there we had a fabulous time
