Elegante y moderno, con un pie firmemente puesto en el Viejo Mundo. Ésta la atmósfera creada en Perbacco. El restaurante cuenta con una pared de ladrillo original del histórico edificio Hind de 1913, con otros detalles, tales como una superficie de barra y pisos con baldozas de mármol de Carrara. Con 16 asientos en el bar y 7 mesas más íntimas, Perbacco crea una excelente atmósfera para degustar una copa de vino o un aperitivo. El restaurante Perbacco también cuenta con dos áreas de comedor, una en la planta principal y otra más pequeña en el entresuelo, que añade el atractivo de servir como \"teatro\", con ventanas para ver toda la acción que pasa en la cocina de abajo.
El chef Staffan Terje se esfuerza en cocinar comida más de la más alta calidad, reflejando las regiones italianas de Piamonte y Liguria. Salumi, prosciutto y otros embutidos son todos hechos a mano y en casa y son manjares que uno no se puede perder. Una tradición en Piemonte son las pastas de temporada que van desde los raviolis tradicionales hasta los agnolotti más exóticos.                                                       Perbacco was recommended to us so we were so excited to try it! We walked in and was immediately impressed with the decor and how we were greeted! The restaurant was quite crowded and everyone looked like they there enjoying their meal. We started with some amazing cocktails then moved onto to the shishito peppers and melon salad. Just wow! If the appetizers are this good……we can’t wait for our entrees! I got the Tajarin and it was absolutely delicious. My husband got the filet mignon and he loved it. Our friends got the pappardelle and risotto. We are definitely going to frequent this restaurant! The service was awesome!

                                                      Perbacco absolutely won us over. It was our first visit, but so wonderful we came back the very next day. The melon and prosciutto salad was perfectly balanced, the tortellini rich and comforting, and the vitello tonnato truly world-class — one of the best we’ve had anywhere. My husband is Northern Italian, and we spend a lot of time there — this is the real thing. The wine list is thoughtfully curated and refreshingly well-priced. Service was top-notch: professional, warm, and approachable. A standout experience from start to finish. Everyone is great, but Joey was a standout for us.

                                                      My family likes to eat at Perbacco prior to going to shows at Golden Gate or The Orpheum. We let the staff know that we'll be out by 7:00 and they adhere to our schedule while not rushing us through courses. The wine recommendation last night from our server, Jamie, was wonderful and the food was so fresh and inviting. The noise level was quiet, although I note that we were there at opening.

                                                      We love Perbacco. But at our recent visit, the food was mediocre at best. It was as though they ran out of lamb and other ingredients for one of the dishes we ordered. The other dishes were generally not up to their usual standards. However, the the hospitality shown by the staff is wonderful and the service they demonstrate is the best!
