Grape leaves were excellent. Lamb kabab was overcooked & tough.
Other guest with me had good dinner. Would rate restaurant overall as good.
Pera is warm and inviting. Our meal was delicious and our server Tabatha elevated the evening beyond our expectations. Go and enjoy!
Fantastic food. Very nice and informative server.
Very good meal. Authentic Mediterranean cuisine. Very good service and flexible about menu items to help please finicky kids.
Food was delicious. Large portions and presented nicely. Great service. Highly recommend.
Excellent food and service, very accommodating with our guests! A great option for business meals.
Food was fresh and tasty and service was excellent. especially enjoyed the falafel and baba ganoush. there was a large party in restaurant at same time but did not slow down our service.
Our third visit here; from 3 hrs down the pike, during our visits to Mass MOCA. Very reasonably priced, excellent menu.
Just great — what we’ve come to expect!
Pera is a cozy neighborhood restaurant with well prepared food at a good price. The service was friendly and competent. The bean soup and the mushroom appetizer were particularly tasty.
A lovely dinner, as always! Our friends were new to Pera, and they loved it, too! Thank you.
We met friends there for dinner on a Sunday evening. Authentic Turkish cuisine which we thoroughly enjoyed. Excellent service and advice in terms of ordering. The restaurant has a good wine list and we enjoyed our selections. We ordered an assorted starter plate for appetizers and then our entrees.
Shared tapas and wine with two old friends. We had no problems selecting a variety of plates which we passed around as they came out. The server graciously accomodated one of our group's food allergy. A good time was had by all.
Four of us ordered a variety of menu options, all were delicious.
We discovered this restaurant while on a weekend getaway. We love the Mediterranean flair and the service was excellent. The food was wonderful and the wine reasonably priced. The owner was in the restaurant and made us feel right at home. We would definitely come back to Pera if we are ever in Williamstown again!
excellent, server was very friendly and knowledgeable, I liked the food, and would recommend it to others.
We discovered Pera during a visit to Williamstown in 2014 and were pleased to return this year to enjoy their great food and friendly service once again. Hope to return sooner next time!
good food, somewhat limited menu but all options looked / tasted very delicious! i had a blood orange margarita and would highly recommend. a bit loud and energetic, nice but not necessarily fancy. staff were all so friendly and patient.
My seafood medley special was delicious with a wonderful sauce. The waitress/barmaid was very accommodating and ensured we had the requested window seats. My wife had the kabobs but should have got them medium rare. First time visit and would go back.
Great food, service and ambiance. I can't wait to go back
Our second visit and we loved our meal. The staff was very attentive. We will be back again soon I hope.
We had an excellent dinner at Pera Bistro and we are glad there is another ethnic food option in Williamstown.
The service was prompt and the food very good. We particularly appreciated the complimentary beans with olive oil and seasonings that were served before our meals arrived.
Atmosphere was warm and cozy and it was not too noisy.
We will be back.
Enjoyed their special soup of the day - I like highly spiced and this fit the bill. Their PEU mussels in white wine were extra good!!
The problem with monopolies are that they don't need to keep improving. It's the only grown up place in town and they k ow it. The rest is for the students. Anyway, although the meet was tender and nice it lacked in flavor, simplicity characteristic of a Greek or Turkish restaurant and the condiments were all cheap. If you must you must as there is. Ot much Choice (at least that would be seriously any better) in the area despite some serious research.
Pera came highly recommended. The dining room is beautiful and interesting. The menu was varied, but the food tried to do too much with strange combinations of too many ingredients. The scallops were overpowered by the bed of lentils.
The main problem was service. The waitress served other tables and occasionally glanced at us at a corner table but took about 15 minutes to bring menus. Later, it was hard to get her attention and she seemed somewhere between bored and indifferent.
It was a disappointment. That was in contrast with the enthusiastic and cheerful greeting at the front desk when we came in.
We really enjoyed this restaurant, where the service and welcoming atmosphere were lovely. The food was fresh and delicious and the menu was varied. We will return there. It is close to musuems and art galleries and easy to get to.
Pera was a fabulous experience for our lunch anniversary celebration. Good food and great service. It is a superb place
Wait staff were attentive and good team work. It would have been nice if we had a heads up on how large the appetizers were or that there was a variation on the hummus. Our main course was dessicated (kabobs) . Dessert ( baklava) was quite good.
Actually had dinner. Supposedly Turkish! Why sangria? Food with pork? Result is lack of focus and hence middle of the road. Service is mixed at best. If only the place were truly Turkish!! Otherwise muddled.
As always we were greeted as valued customers and enjoyed a wonderful meal (the shrimp Fra Diavalo was great). The drinks menu is expanding and becoming more interesting and the wait-staff was knowledgeable as always. This is out favorite North County dining spot.
Just a chance on Open Table to find a restaurant in Williamstown; turned out to be an exceptional choice. Friendly. local, and, above all, creative cuisine.
A friend recommended you knowing we were going to the theater. We were in early and delighted to see the place fill up so quickly. A sure sign of a good restaurant. Definitely booking if I return and will also "spread the word!"
We had a wonderful dinner for two at a lovely table. Excellent service. Thanks to hostess & server, who also made our drinks. We emphasised the traditional Turkish Mediterranean aspects of the menu from cocktails & starter to mains & Turkish coffee and a lemony dessert. We've visited a number of times before & will continue to return & highly recommend.
The quality and taste of the food was good. Portions were small, and we left hungry. Service was fair at best, and seemed very disorganized. Servers kept coming out of the kitchen with food and not knowing where to deliver it. Overall, disappointing.
Plesant place in Williamstown for lunch or dinner. Nice menu for meat eaters or vegetarians. Fits in a budget.
Nice pre-theater dinner/delicious lamb burger and kabob. Tasty Greek salad. Waitress wAs delightful, knowledeable and helpful. Very pleasant experience
Great place! Do not miss this place when you're in Williamstown!
We have been here many times before. I hate to give the food only 3 stars this time but my salad was overdressed, the falafel wrap pita was not as moist as is typical (over crisped) and the falafel not as flavorful as previously remembered. We'll probably be back though- we love this place overall.
We like Pera's because of the unique menu choices. We especially love their salads, and their mussels are superb.
The baba ganoush was the best we ever had and the best course of the evening. Mains (including my mixed grill) were bland. Cocktails were terrible, the waitress makes it, so stick with wine.
