   Went there for our anniversary dinner. Started us out with a complimentary glass of wine. The waiter was very helpful in explaining the menu, very upbeat and friendly. The pimento scones were yummy, warm and soft. Followed by the duck breast, the best I’ve ever had. The sauce that accompanied was to die for, I almost licked the plate. To finish out the meal was the flourless torte with salted caramel ice cream. Everything was fantastic, the decor was modern and elegant. Definitely worth the price. Excellent date night spot.

   Another wonderful relaxing experience at Peppervine! Food is consistently good, as is the service. Great atmosphere and no loud obnoxious music as in so many restaurants these days so diners can actually have good conversations without having to scream at each other.

   Peppervine remains the best restaurant in Charlotte, and probably North Carolina. Everything is spot on, very creative without being fussy or precious. Where else can you get lamb tenderloin? Grilled prawns were the best shrimp we've ever had.

    My childhood friend came into Charlotte for the weekend & Peppervine delivered on all fronts: Service: FANtastic (Ask for Kelly with a "y"!); Food: One word- Ahhh!; Ambience: On point. Kelly is a doll- personable, professional, & fun! (Awesome tan to boot!) I highly recommend the Pimento Cheese Scones, General Tso's Cauliflower, Thai Pork Spare Ribs, and the Mushroom Agnolotti. As for drinks, the margarita I had will change your life. I don't recall its name, but just say you want the purple margarita & thank me later! As for the ambience, it was elegant without feeling stuffy. Candle table lighting set the tone for warm & cozy-- & made for some Insta-worthy pics. Not that I Insta, but if you do-- Peppervine has you covered. I'll be back!

    Wonderful service. The food was very good but not next level. I believe the sugar may have been left out of the yeast rolls since they were not as incredible as last time. ( The couple next to us also commented on the yeast rolls)

    I can not say enough about this place! The food was delicious! They service was amazing! Great recommendations! I’m so glad I went with it it was the favorite!! Must try the cauliflower, yeast rolls(I’m still thinking about them), and mushroom tagolatti! My friend said the scallops were the best she’d ever had! And dessert! Yum yum yum!

    This was our first experience The food was phenomenal! I was incredibly disappointed with our table. I had requested a roomy booth, but rather than sitting us at the full booth that fit six,  we were sat at a half booth, despite my observing two of the booths being sat with four people. Was also disappointed in the small plates because they came out one right after the other, rather than spaced out.

    Kelly our server was great and so was the rest of the staff there. The food was amazing, and we both enjoyed what we ordered. They were very busy Thursday night and our order got in behind a large table, so it took a longer time for our dinner arrive. It was a good thing that we ordered an arugula and fennel salad.

    The best old-fashioned we’ve both had. The fried oysters were so soft yet crispy on the outside. The pork belly with potatoes was really good. The lamb filet was delicious. The duck breast was just a little bit under seasoned but the mixed peas side was amazing. Definitely worth going back. 100% recommended.

    Small plates were delicious, we had the hot pot and tuna. We loved the sommelier and he picked us a great bottle of interesting white. The entrees were good, but missing the balance of flavors the small plates had.

    We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed it. Last night we went with out-of-town friends who have been staying with us and our adult daughter. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the waitress was very friendly and helpful.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary. Ambience was nice, relaxed but upscale. We got a complimentary glass of Cava, which tasted great! Food was amazing! I had the short rib and hubby had the duck. Yeast rolls were top tier. Had the doughnuts for dessert and those were also good. Our server, Hope, was very attentive. We had cocktails which weren’t the best, but we didn’t mind as the rest of our experience was great. I would visit this place again.

    We were totally amazed with the service and the food, however they weee out of the BEST DISH at 7:45. The Lamb is what I wanted for dinner. Would like a complimentary meal to come back soon!

    Peppervine has been my family's special restaurant for many years. We returned on Saturday after a few months of hiatus, and our experience, overall, fell very short of our expectations. Peppervine can do much better, or they used to at least, than what they delivered on Saturday. Food was unevenly seasoned, and lackluster, and service was rather sporadic. We were there for a family member's birthday, but not even a happy BD wish from the staff. All of us were very disappointed and saddened that we may need to scratch this restaurant off from our favorites list. I hope Peppervine will return to its former self quickly.

    Really great experience loved everything about Peppervine! Celebrated my girlfriend’s 21st birthday and was amazing! Loved our server only thing I will say is that there was a lady who was serving us water, and we tried to say thank you, but she didn’t say anything back just kind of walked off after giving us water. Other than that it was really an amazing experience and definitely recommend this restaurant. The desserts were also amazing!

    We ate a Peppervine for my daughters 18th birthday. I’ll start by saying DONT ORDER THE DUCK OR LAMB and OUR SERVER WAS GREAT! Cocktails are small and way overpriced. A 4oz espresso martini was $15. No thanks. My older daughter ordered the duck. Let me give history by saying she’s an avid duck hunter. She prepares and eats many species of duck. She ordered the duck thinking it would be tasty. It was gamy and inedible. I took a bite (thinking she was being dramatic). No. I took 2 chews and spit it out. Couldn’t even swallow it. Instant gag reflex. Tasted like an organ. I ordered the lamb, which i always enjoy as a meal when cooked at home and when i have ordered out. This cut was sliced into 5 strips, which only 2 were edible. The other 3 were slimy, all fat and not able to eat them. The shrimp pasta was pretty good. General Taos cauliflower was ridiculously tasty…so are the yeast rolls. I would never go back. Our server was very knowledgeable, attentive and didn’t hesitate to take away the duck meal and have another dish made. The ambiance is trendy and quiet. It was a birthday, so they also sent a small key lime dessert to our table, which was super nice and delicious.

    Celebrated our anniversary here and already said we can't wait to go back. Our waiter asked us if we were celebrating anything special and since we were celebrating an anniversary he brought us out complimentary champagne for us to enjoy at the beginning of our meal. Service was amazing and food was some of the best I have had.

    We tried Peppervine yesterday and omg every was soooo good. This is an American restaurant but they do serve some Asian dishes. It’s more like an American fusion restaurant I guess. Everything is made from scratch and using local ingredients so the menu changes depends on what’s available. But everything was delicious! The service was impeccable. The food was top notch. I regret not trying this earlier. Y’all should definitely check it out! We ordered the pork belly, the green curry hot pot, rolls as starter. The rolls was soft and freshly baked, the pork belly is delicious, and green curry was amazing. The monk fish and mussels was fresh and soft, not chewy or fishy. I got the 24 hours short ribs and it was delicious melt in your mouth. My husband kept making uhm noises when he ate this dish 🤣 so you know it’s good. He got the veal ragu with house made pasta, this is my least favorite dish and I wouldn’t order this one again but my husband loves it too. We got the sorbet trio and ice cream trio for dessert. Also made in house. My husband kept saying they looks like sashimi because of the shape 😆.
