   Love the staff, love the food and ambiance. It’s that small local business that always hits the spot and will welcome you with open arms. They’re also dog friendly! They have different menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices are very affordable!

   Love eating where the locals eat? This is the place. Pepe’s is one of the oldest places in Key West. The reason is the food. It’s really good. Try their key lime pie with a Margarita 👍

   Just an ok experience. We enjoy breakfast here so we thought we would try dinner. Very disappointed. Very loud! Stuck in corner , 0 ambiance, so loud we could not talk to one another. We were both going to get fresh catch sandwich, server said fish portion was small & talked me into Fresh catch Florentine . which I usually love. There was Parmesan cheese on top that was over cooked/ broiled that it was a hard inedible shell. You could not even cut it. Very sorry that I did not get the sandwich at 1/2 of the price. . She checked on us before we had a single bite, by the time she came back I had picked at the fish underneath. My husband was done eating, she asked if I wanted something else, too late then. Just not the experience we were expecting or had looked forward to.

   Our first dinner in key west was amazing! Surf & turf and mahi-mahi covered in their caper garlic butter sauce was to die for! Live music and rum punch set the tone for the evening! Will definitely be going back!

   Host was clueless. We had a reservation and he told us to wait. He assured us he would call our names when he was ready. He never did. He seated two parties ahead of us that arrived after us. I went back and questioned him, he seemed lost and confused. He asked our name again. He then seated us immediately. By the time we were finally seated, breakfast was no longer an option. Experience in the past was good. I think the host ruined the experience this time. He needs more training on customer service.

    This was the worst meal we had while in Key West. Save your money and don’t go to the establishment. The staff is rude and unhelpful. The food has no flavor. Overall extremely disappointed in Pepe’s cafe.

    Have eaten here for years and this was the worst meal. So disappointed. Two fish meals, both so overcooked, dry rice. Sauce for one ended up looking like a bowl of butter. Miss the old Pepe’s.

    It was my birthday celebration and the server went above and beyond to make me feel special! We even got pictures together and everything. She also brought out a piece of guava cheesecake and a candle to sing hbd at the end. I wish I could remember her name but she was the best!

    Food was horrible. Asked for medium well steaks and got well done. Potatoes weren’t even cooked, served cold and hard. Worse than a Perkins but expect a hefty price tag

    We had been here many years ago and it was excellent. However, this time we were underwhelmed by the service and food. Our steak was over cooked and our server was not very attentive. Food took a long time.

    Really bad. We ordered salads and baked oysters, when the salad arrived it was piled high on the serving plate and proved impossible to eat without scattering the contents across the table. Next the server brought us raw oysters, we sent these back we ordered baked. The replacement oysters were over cooked and cold ( it takes special talent to do that) the server never asked how our meal was and seemed as if she had better things to do. Over the years I have eaten at Pepe’s on numerous occasions and it was always delightful.

    Mojitos are out of this world!!! The absolute best! We ate dinner there, and enjoyed the live music. Food was delicious. Service great! Everything was just exactly what we expected…maybe even better! 👍🏻 I’d definitely recommend trying Pepe’s.

    Excellent service. Nina was terrific. Cornbread outstanding. Pork chops very tasty but huge portion. Big enough to share. Stone crabs very good. Key lime pie one of the best on the island.

    Ordered the surf and turf for Valentine’s Day dinner. Based on the price was I not expecting to be blown away. Lobster tail was prepared perfectly, did not need butter. If anyone has prepared lobster at home or eaten rubbery lobster at home, it can be over cooked. Pepe’s did it to perfection. My compliments to the chef. The filet was cooked to requested temp for both myself and my fiancé and did not require any additional seasoning. Pepe’s is a classic and has always impressed.

    There was more than a 30 minute lag time between the time I received my meal and my friend received his meal. Aside from that, the food was sub-standard and the cleaning lady was using some god-awful industrial strength detergent to clean the other tables around us which permeated the air and made my food taste like soap. Never again will I make the mistake to go to this awful place.

    This was a return trip. We had eaten here in Nov 22 and this was our first meal for supper when we returned. The food quality and preparation were no where nearly as good. I had the seafood trio special and the shrimp were almost sun dried hard. The fish was decent. My wife had the black and blue ribeye and it was just ok, but definitely not worth the $43 or $46 price. Our server was very friendly and said she was new and just learning. We had to ask for the specials and never were asked if we wanted any additional drinks. But her friendliness was great. Our first trip was amazing! This one was a large bust and probably will not try a third time. Too many great choices nearby.
