This was my first time at this red restaurant. I had such a magnificent experience. The food was some of the best food I have ever tasted.

Love Peohys, we had the kimchi calamari, salmon and king crab legs. The food was delicious. Although the king crab legs were a little on the small side. The calamari was out of this world. The server was the best of the best.

Celebrated my husband’s 40th Birthday. Restaurant was very accommodating to us during this pandemic. Great overall experience. Views were amazing. The best clam chowder I’ve had in years! Thanks for the memories Peohe’s

Absolutely beautiful atmosphere for a special celebration dinner! Food was delicious and the service was good, although our server was simply covering too many tables. She was great, just too understaffed to provide excellent service. You definitely pay for the beautiful setting, so it’s not a place we go on a regular basis, but again, great choice for a special dinner.

Great food, great service, great views ... initially they seated us in a back corner and it was cold with limited visibility. But, the moved us to a better table in the main patio as one became available and the evening finished 'top notch'!

The view of San Diego and the waterfront is spectacular.
The service was excellent. Fantastic waiter who was more than accommodating
We both had a shrimp and crab salad that were very good, but the portion was very small. There should have been bread served with it for the price.
Because of the view and the service I would return, but do not go hungry.

Overall, it was a good experience. The food was good, we had wonderful seats overlooking the bay, and we felt very safe in the days of Covid. One minor complaint, we chose to celebrate our 25th anniversary at Peohe’s. They were fully aware and don’t really go the extra mile like most restaurants would. There were only about four other tables In our area, and seriously each one was celebrating a birthday and got complimentary desserts/fanfare. They did nothing for our special occasion. We thought that odd and disappointing.

The manager was very nice and accommodating when we brought our bicycles to the restaurant; he saved us a spot so we can park them and watch them while dinning in. Our server are wonderful as well when I wanted to order king crab for lunch. All food are delicious from French dip sandwich to king crab and chocolate lava cake. The weather is nice with beautiful scenery of downtown San Diego. It made my birthday lunch worthwhile!

The problems began when I tried to book a reservation online for 7 p.m. but the only slot available was 9 p.m., so I booked it. Then earlier in the evening I received a text message at 7 p.m. telling me my table was ready so I called the restaurant and they told me it was extremely slow and I could arrive as soon as possible so I told them I would be there at 7:45 p.m. and they said that was fine. We arrived exactly at 7:45 p.m. to a virtually empty restaurant. I was extremely disappointed that I was unable to book an earlier reservation online and was forced to take a 9 p.m. time slot when the place was empty. I should have been contacted earlier and asked if I would prefer an earlier time slot. Then we were seated in a freezing cold dining room but at least there were three other tables in the restaurant. The view was beautiful. But, since it was approaching 8 p.m. the staff were beginning to close down the dining room around us. They took all the candles off the tables except for the three that were still seated. This immediately took the life out of an already desolate dining room. I am in this business and it is always my practice to leave the candles on the table until the very end. When you remove the candles the room dies, It was also so quiet in the dining room that the music being played by the cooks in the kitchen filtered out into the dining room and mixed with the house music so we heard two types of music being played at once. A manager never stopped by the table to check on us and our server seemed like she was in a hurry to finish her shift as well. The food was tasty but only mediocre and poorly presented on the plate. The best part about this restaurant is the view of downtown San Diego across the bay. Feels like a tourist trap.

This was the first time I have had an issue with the food at Peohes, I’m hoping it was a fluke. The appetizers were as expected it was the entrees that disappointed. All but one of the fish plates were over cooked to the point we had to use a knife to cut into it; just rubber! It was very disappointing.

Once again Peohe's exceeded our expectations for friendly professional service, great food and fantastic views of San Diego Bay.
Once we were seated, Benjamin, our server. was immediately available to provide drinks, our entrees and even a surprise dessert in the relaxed setting.
I had the ever wonderful fish & chips while my wife had the seafood cobb salad that she said was the best she's ever had.
This remains our favorite place to eat in the San Diego area.

We were sat outside without the option of sitting inside. It was cold and started drizzling. Food was all good except dessert but it may be because it was cold outside and made it cold pretty quick

Nice table on the bay very attentive and informative waiter, Nathan.
Excellent wine selection, suggestions for appetizers entree and dessert.
Spring rolls where very good presentation nice. Chilean sea bass w Pinot noir reduction was a bit confusing the fish was prepared well presentation of plate very nice but, the reduction tasted a bit Caramelized and gelatinous, not my cup of tea.
Ordered chocolate lava cake for dessert, it was the hit of the evening. Would definitely put this place
On a to go too for a nice bay sene dinner.

My only complaint is my server did not Credit my Landrys Select Club account after asking him twice. I will need to call Peophes and see if it can be credited after-the-fact.

Even with a reservation, the wait time was 55 minutes which we felt was excessive. Management needs to find a way to turn the tables to accommodate reservations.

We were seated after our reservation time. The host was abrasive. Our food took at least an hour to come out in various stages. I had to speak to the Mgr as two tables seated way after us received their order before us. No explanation, but they did take $36.00 off our bill.

Amazing Halloween dinner. Special 3 course menu for Halloween. A good value. The wedge salad was delicious. Sour dough rolls hot out of the oven but you must request them. Prime rib a little tough and tasteless .
Waiter was very efficient and accommodating for our friend who is gluten intolerant. Macadamia nut ice cream pie over the top. Felt very comfortable with COVID accommodations.
