It's been a while since we have been to Peohe's, and they didn't disappoint. The food and service is top notch and you can't beat the view of San Diego from across the bay. Always a nice time when we do get a chance to go there.
A few friends out for dinner
Food, service, and location, location, location! In San Diego, a must to eat here!
Wonderful food, incredible service. View is amazing. Accommodated our party of 11 no problem. 10/10
Always enjoy this restaurant. View is lovely. Food great. Service terrific.
Only slight complaint is that the music was too loud on inside deck.
Of course, considering the location, ambience was great. Food was good, but considering the price unremarkable. Service was pretty poor.
We absolutely love dining at Peohe’s. The setting is so nice and the evening view is spectacular! The servers are very friendly and the food is usually wonderful. Last night’s dinner left a little to be desired. The calamari was fabulous, but the lobster bisque was just awful and my husbands sea bass was dry. My daughter and I had the spicy ahi and it was perfect. We know that Peohi’s is a great upscale restaurant and we have eaten there many times, as we are local residents in Bonita. However, our expectations were not what we expected. It was my birthday dinner and we were a little disappointed.

The ambiance of the place cannot be beat in SD. The service was outstanding.
This restaurant has an amazing view of the san diego waterfront from the Coronado Point of view. The ambience was really nice and the food was good. Not the restaurants fault at all, but I wish it wasn’t cloudy that evening we were there. The woman serving us was extremely nice and friendly, and brought out a delicious dessert for my girlfriends birthday. I’d definitely come back to this restaurant.
Amazing birthday dinner with friends! The views were amazing, the food and drinks were delicious. The service was…ok. Not terrible, but just mediocre. Never the less, we all enjoyed it and will be back.
Love Peohe's 😊. definitely highly recommend this place.
This is a very good choice if you book ahead. We were seated within 10 minutes of reservation, and service a very prompt and good. Our waiter Gus was awesome. It was very crowded, but it’s summer in San Diego, to be expected!!
I would recommend for sure!
Service was a little slow, staff was friendly. Food tasted good.
Really nice spot for an anniversary dinner. Our server Gus was excellent! Food was so good. Really nice restaurant with beautiful views. Had an awesome time!
Sadly, our experience was not what we expected. The setting was beautiful but the service was incredibly slow and the timing of the wine and food brought out was awkward. We sat for at least 15 minutes before we even ordered drinks, which took another 10 minutes to finally arrive. The appetizers were tasty and we should have stopped there. The main dishes were super disappointing. We had Ahi ( a weird wedge of uncooked fish, not seared on the outside as expected but barely heated) and Salmon. The vegetables were clearly from frozen and tasteless. The wine list was equally disappointing and overpriced. We had hoped for a romantic dinner, but sat shivering in the rain while waiting almost through our entire dinner for someone to light our heater. The best part of our evening was watching the charter boats unload groups of drunk people that had to parade by and offer comments. This was at least amusing.
The food was delicious, the service was great, and you couldn't beat the views of the boats going by on San Diego Harbor, the Downtown skyline, and the Coronado Bridge all from our table.
Seriously the best. Shoutout to Justin, our amazing server!!!
We had a party of 7 and found this is a Great place! Great People! Awesome View!
Thomas was our waiter! He was kind and so pleasant! My Sister was in from Texas! Thomas made sure we were taken are of while taking care of others! It was a busy day, but he was able to make sure we felt special! The restaurant had a delicious selection of foods and the Mascoto was the sweetest ever!
Go enjoy some time here and please tell Thomas hello for us!
We were disappointed. We had to wait over 30 minutes to be seated. The two young ladies at the reception desk were inept and were seating couples and groups without much regard to reservations. We complained several times and had to go directly to the manager to finally get seated. The food was unacceptable and we should have sent it back. The Kim Chee calamari, one of their signature dishes was greasy and salty. The salmon and the sea bass were both undercooked, too salty, and greasy. There were two good things: the waitress (Rachel) was excellent and the view of the San Diego skyline, as usual, impressive. We are not returning to Peohe and will certainly never recommend it to anyone.
Great food and views to downtown San Diego!
Service was slow because they were understaffed. The wait staff was doing the best they could and you can see they were hustling by the amount of sweat and the constant apologies to their customers. I told them it's not their fault but the fault of management for not having enough staff to work the covers. Front of house had too many people working doing nothing while service staff running around and management standing there watching them instead of helping out. I've been coming to Peohe's for years back when they still had the Maui Onion rings which was a mistake to remove from the Menu. I think this will be one of my last visits...chart house ruined the place.
Great lunch with my beautiful wife. Great views of the San Diego skyline and bay.
It’s a beautiful location and our server was excellent. The bread, appetizers and drinks were fantastic, but the entrees were a bit disappointing in comparison. One of us had steak and the other fish. They tasted fine, but we were hoping for better presentation considering the price. We may have had high expectations after the delicious calamari plate, which was well
worth every penny! We’d go back just for that.
Food came out in 2.5 hrs
We were a big group--10 ladies--and we were seated by a window where we could see the boats going by. All very lovely. Our server--whose name I unfortunately did not catch--was a gem. She was friendly, courteous, and easily accommodated the somewhat random needs of this group. When she brought one order that was different from what the lady thought she had ordered, our server brought another plate with what was left out of the first one, in order to make it right without having to take away the wrong item.
The food was delicious. Salmon cooked perfectly, with a nice crust of sesame seeds, and a little sauce that added just the right touch. Crispy coconut shrimp, with sweet potato fries. I didn't see what everyone had, but they all seemed happy with their orders. It was a birthday, and we brought in our own cake. Our server took it into the kitchen, sliced it, and brought us each a plate with a slice of cake. No complaints, no awkwardness. Just accommodation to our needs. Beautiful.
It was our servers first day and she did an amazing job!! Plus food and drinks were amazing. Definitely will be coming back
Amazing dining experience while on vacation!
Took my 2 adult daughters here and had a beautiful seat by the window. The ambiance was wonderful, the service (Nathan), unbelievable, he made the best recommendations and was so prompt and attentive. And the food, wow! Just wow! We fine dine often, and Peohe’s was hands down one of our best experiences we have ever had. We will definitely be back and recommend! Thank you for such a wonderful evening.
Great place to close out a relaxing vacation. Great views and the food can't be beat.
All perfect! Except to crowded and many children and baby crying. Other then that great
Delicious meal. But a little ok very priced. You pay for the location and the ambiance. And it's worth it if you take that into account.
Fantastic view and and amazing food choices. Only a bit noisy from the sound of freedom flying over every couple minutes (helicopters). Service is outstanding. Would recommend to anyone.
Food was good and view was great! Table needed to be cleared much sooner, food left in empty tables for long periods of time as well. Looks unprofessional and dirty and attracts birds.
Great special occasion place. Our server was excellent and the food was amazing. We’ll be back!
Great prime rib. Excellent service and atmosphere
To have a reservation then be seated at the worse table in the house is just sad, and is what happened to us. Next we waited 8 to 10 minutes for our drink order to arrive. The waitress was pleasant enough but not efficient. Our food arrived in about 30 minutes from time of order and was luke warm at best. The waitress checked on us quickly after the food arrived, I asked for lemon for my Halibut, thankfully I started eating the Luke warm food and did not wait for the lemon that arrived 10 minutes after I asked for it. This was not our first visit to Peohe’s but it was our last.
Good food, great location. Parking can be an issue, but you can park at the feet landing for free.
The view was beautiful but the RR were very dirty, and the food was ok. I would go only for the view.
