The food is just ok. My Caesar salad was brown - lettuce old brown. And drenched in dressing. The Black Cod was flavorful and overly buttery, but the bok choy was chopped so finely you could not find it. Very much a tourist spot. Location is great.

We were celebrating a birthday & new job, and Peohe’s did not disappoint! From the cocktails at the bar while we waited (briefly) for our table with a beautiful SD skyline view, to the FABULOUS food & wine, it was an evening to be remembered. Oysters on the half-shell were the biggest we’ve ever had, calamari was a huge & tasty platter, and the prime rib was prepared to perfection and again, very generous portions! High end elegance and satisfaction were enjoyed by all! (& thank you Whitney for your attentive care!)

My swordfish was dry, rice on plate was cold. Waitress was inattentive and never checked with us during meal. We had to flag down another waiter to order a glass of wine which was delivered when most food was almost eaten. No acknowledgement or even complementary dessert for this poor service or cold food. We will not dine here again.

Was very disappointed with the restaurant week special.the hard rolls were so hard we needed to cut them with a knife. I had the wedge salad and it had this very spice condiment around the edge of the plate that spoiled the taste of the blue cheese. My Mahi was tasteless.lived the polenta. Brussels sprouts needed some seasoning also. However the key lime pie was delicious. We have eaten at peohe s many times and know that this was just an off night for you..

Food was bland, I sent back my cocktail because it was so bad, took 20 mins for us to get a glass of water. Ordered the pupu platter appetizer and I told my husband I would have been embarrassed to send that out if I were the chef—the sushi roll was falling apart and barely had any seafood in it.

Peohe’s used to be great, but our experience this time was marred by small children from a large party next to us running races along the railing, climbing up the railings in front of us- generally unruly with oblivious parents. Hardly unusual nowadays, but obviously dangerous and the manager should’ve requested that they remain within their table area & off the safety railings. Our crab cake presentation was beautiful but mostly filler. The shrimp and lobster roll were excellent and pleasant service. Gorgeous, efficient hostesses, too!

The night we were there the restaurant was greatly understaffed. Too many large parties and not enough staff. Our waiter was great but keep apoligizing because our order took so long. Food was Ok but the wait time was unaccedptable.

My experience was excellent! The view was fabulous and the waiter was great. The prime rib was exquisite. Juicy, tender and flavorful. And the lava cake is a must have if you’re a chocolate lover. Definitely will be returning.

Your facility is short on servers as most local restaurants are, which makes for extra long meals. We do try to understand your situation but is does get to be frustrating for your patrons. Hopefully this problem will be solved soon.

Beautiful restaurant with unique decor. Right in the water with unobstructed views yet sheltered from wind. Super attentive , friendly and knowledgeable server (Mando). Loved the music . Food was fantastic (salmon and NY Steak) . Will definitely be going back . Also , was steps from the ferry that we took over from San Diego . Perfect anniversary date for us .

The cooks lost our order and then blamed it on our lovely server! She kept asking for our order and they didn’t get it! We had to get a manager involved and he dealt with it. Disappointed. But we love this restaurant and they gave us a nice discount. We will be back 💕💕

The patio and set up was beautiful, but the service was soooooo slow. We went to celebrate our Mothers Birthday. We were a group of 8. The waiter was nowhere to be found for most of the night, he didn’t check if we needed more drinks or needed anything thru dinner service. We had 2 kids that were starving cuz the service delay. We watched out food sit about 5mins or more before being brought to us. The person who brought the food asked me to be his assistant to lift plates on a seat that nobody was sitting. On the other hand, My food was delish but we left with no desert in fear it would take another hour. I may have to try it again to see if a different server is better at it.

Beautiful views of San Diego Bay. Service was good. Grilled ahi was terrible. Virtually raw, fatty, and inedible. I sent it back but paid nonetheless. Raw oysters were DOA no flinch at the edge touch of the mollusk. Overpriced. Steamed vegetables were just this side of raw.

Our drink order took a long time to arrive and was incomplete. The chef's special; steak, lobster, scallops, and bleu cheese was only moderately good, both the lobster and scallops were very salty. Our server should have mentioned that although this was a special, each item would be priced separately for a total of $124. So, poor service ok food and high prices keep me from recommending Peohe's.

Ate outdoors on patio with harbor view. Great temp, gentle breeze. Sunset. All had fish. Pinot noir reduction halibut was the best of the best and the crab-mango-avocado stack was great.

The food was pretty good . The rolls were over cooked and hard . The sushi was tasty , not bad for a non sushi restaurant. The pasta was good as well , it would have been nice if the tails were removed from the shrimp . We were fans of the cheesecake , the best thing we tried . I understand that it was a holiday weekend but the bathroom should have been serviced more frequently, we were there at 8 and it hadn’t been serviced since 4 and there were no paper towels .

We brought our 10 year old grandson for dinner and we loved every minute of it! We had a beautiful evening to sit by the water and watch the boats go by - just a perfect spot. We started with the pupu platter which had a great variety of sushi, shrimp, and other goodies. When it can time to order, we really like the fact that we could order salmon off the kids menu - very nice option! Our server was great and suggested some great options for the three of us. And the lava cake with candles for dessert was a perfect ending to our evening. Well done Peohe’s!

The Ambiance was perfect, the service was great, we had drinks and appetizer sample plate called the pupu plate. Very good, the drink I had (Manhattan) was actually a little strong but if you like a strong drink, this is your place. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and I have to say it was just average, maybe just a little over done. I still give Peohe's an "A".
