Aside of the 3 very loud women at the bar, the service and of course the food was nothing short of fantastic. We try to have dinner at this location at least once per month.
Happy hour is definitely a must for all if you enjoy cocktails
Poor service and Chilean Sea Bass under par. This had been my favorite restaurant until Sunday, when they missed the mark. The cut of fish was small and broken into little pieces with a lot of parsley on top. Our server spent most of her time at other tables, instead of at our table. She forgot several items, and needed to be reminded a few times. I don’t know if it’s under new management, or short staffed. Just wasn’t the Peli Peli I’d known in the past.
Great food, great staff but not a cheap place to eat we save it for special occassions. Very nice place for cooked by a chef and very unique. You wont find their menu anyplace else in Houston.
Food was excellent, please try the South African sampler it was fantastic! The Biltong was delicious, the chicken flavorful and the Farmers sausage was memorable. The wine was perfect. I will definitely visit again
One of my favorite places to have exciting seafood and great service! The food is always fresh and cooked to perfection, the staff friendly and professional!
Tried to seat us in a narrow addition before we asked to be moved.
The food at Peli Peli is delicious. If you like your food impeccably seasoned without over reliance on salt and pepper, you will be pleased. The ambiance is excellent for friendly gatherings, but not desirable for quiet intimate discussions. You are seated quite close to your neighbors and the atmosphere is lively.
Wonderful experience - one of our favorite date night/special occasion restaurants. We were seated in a corner booth and insulated from some of the noise. Appetizer (bacon wrapped chicken) was delicious but unfortunately luke warm. Entrees (steak espetada and filet hugenot) were perfect. I enjoy that they are efficient but do not rush you. Reservations are a must. Try the dessert sampler - or just go for the sticky toffee pudding.
Dinner at Peli Peli was, as always, great. Our waitperson, Sean, did a fine job. Friendly and fun without being too obvious. The food was delish.
This Gourmet restaurant is one of Houston's best. Unusual entries and unusual flavors. Try the Sticky Toffee Pudding, which is a miraculous desert!
Your won't be disappointed!
