   The food was pretty good and the server was nice! But we have had much better Italian elsewhere and I understand that the idea is tapas but the portions were pretty small. And personally when we have made special reservations (as told in the reservation notes) and told them weeks in advance they have gone above and beyond to make an effort to make us feel seen/special.

   It was SO LOUD on the enclosed patio (where we were seated) we couldn’t hear each other. Terrible.

   We sat outside, which is super enjoyable in this spring weather. The service was really nice. This is probably my 4th or 5th time here. It’s not the best Italian food in the world, but it is objectively good. We always order the vodka pasta, as that’s usually everyone’s favorite. The coconut sorbet was pretty darn good as well.

   Fab food, and service was great… Sydney upsold items so we couldn’t eat it all but she was great and it was all delicious and we had it for lunch the next day…fantastic restaurant!!

   Good just ok. Meal definitely not timed correctly—all other food was finished before the vegetable was brought out. Cocktails BAD—skip those for sure. Go to any of the other Italian restaurants, the food we had was fine, but overall certainly not worth the hype.

    Excellent experience at Pelato! We loved sharing the small plates - we had stuffed mushrooms, orecchiette pasta, raviolini, meatballs, aricini and fried zucchini, all delicious! And a shared pistachio gelato topped off our meal. A great neighborhood gem!
