Pelato, the beloved Brooklyn-Italian restaurant is a family-run eatery offering a memorable dining experience with small plates featuring cherished family recipes. A mural wall adorned with original photographs reflects the family's Brooklyn heritage.

The menu celebrates authentic Italian flavors with a Brooklyn twist, featuring classic dishes like Potato Croquettes, Baked Clams Oreganata, and Chicken Parmigiana, along with house-made pastas. Don't miss the classic desserts like rainbow cookies & zeppoles to complete your meal.
Outdoor dining available year-round in our enclosed, covered, & heated patio.

20% gratuity will be applied to groups of 6 or more. Split checks may be divided up to 4 credit cards at equal value. A corkage fee of $45 per 750ml will be applied to guests bringing their own wine (limit 2 bottles). A dessert plating fee of $5 per person will be applied to any outside desserts. Due to high demand, tables are subject to a 2-hour limit.

Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in with the friendly hostess to our incredible server. NASSER. he was able to describe every dish and help our group of four. Have a delightful experience… The food was incredible. Our favorites were the Buccatini and the piccata cauliflower !!

This is the best restaurant we have eaten at in a long time. The family style sharing of amazing Italian dishes was so delicious. Our waiter Tae made it an even better and fun experience! Very noisy but worth it! We loved the Pelato salad, zucchini strips, chicken parm, rigatoni with sweet sausage. And the desserts were fantastic too. Can’t wait to go back!

Rachel was fantastic - she was approachable, knowledgeable, and connected easily with us during our visit. Justin was also so sweet to check on our table during service! I love how the restaurant was renovated - the layout was expansive but intimate. The appetizers were creative and amazing as well - cauliflower piccata was delicious but I would return solely for the burrata crostini (and for Rachel!).

Food is excellent. Fun to get to try so many different dishes. Service was great. Be sure and get the Burrata…it was outstanding. Food is brought out at different times as it is ready from the kitchen. It does get pricey when you start ordering all these fun things. It is quite noisy.

Great new spot in Charleston. The ambience is great love the decor. Our food was really good except one of our dishes was over salted. The drinks were delicious. The wine I picked was fantastic. The broccolini is a must have as well as the meatballs. Our service was very subpar, and our waiter was somewhat rude. The hostess came and cleared the table next to us and sprayed chemicals all over our table and food empty drinks were left on our table. It seemed as though the staff was overwhelmed overall a really great place that just needs to work on service.

Food was good considering Italian is hard to find in the south. However, prices were way overpriced for “tapas” style meals. Would not recommend deserts they tasted weird. Also not the place to have a table conversation we could hardly even hear our waitress.
