The grapes that created this wine fermented together. My goal was to harvest the various grape varieties from different vineyards when I believed the timing was right to produce a wine for ageing. Great concentration and very fresh, the blend produced a remarkable complex aroma where the notes of oak mingle harmoniously and add complexity to the spices, blackberry, liquorice and violets, in a blend that promises to get better in the bottle year after year. Origin: Crafted with grapes from selected vineyards planted with the typical varieties of the renowned Douro region, combining high altitude, granitic and schist soils in the Douro Superior, we have sought to make a wine with elegance, freshness and complexity. Vinification: Hand-picked grapes, reception with full destemming, followed by crushing and mild heat shock, followed by a long period of maceration pre-fermentation cold-mill for about 24 to 48 hours, after which the bodies were transferred to small fermentation vats, where fermented for about 15 days at temperatures between 24 and 26 °C. Origin: In this wine we look for the aromatic concentration and high acidity of the grapes Códega do Larinho from very old and traditional vineyards of the Douro Superior, of high altitude around 500 meters. With this wine we seek to recover this native Douro grape that we almost only can find it in the old vineyards, and thus show his character very mineral and creamy. Vinification: Hand-picked grapes to small boxes of 15 Kg, cold fermentation technology on reductive environment, with controlled temperature at about 16 ºC, very gentle crushing and pressing in an inert atmosphere to preserve all the aromatic potential of grapes. The grapes are carefully vinified to remove all qualitative potential: smooth maceration, decantation for 12 hours, followed by fermentation with selected yeasts and controlled temperature 16-18ºC, to preserve the primary aromas of the grape varieties. During 4 months, the wine is kept in bâtonnage then stabilized and bottled.Wine description: With a citrus color, tropical and tree fruits aroma, with mineral notes, fresh and persistent. Acceptable storage time: 10 years. Type of wine: White wine made from grapes of the Alvarinho variety produced exclusively in Monção and Melgaço. The vines are more than 12 years old and are of low. Production: with high levels of acidity and good maturation. A wine made the old way with fermentation on skins, with more colour and more tannins. It tries to get the maximum potential from the Alvarinho variety. Key points: Partial de-stemming. Skin maceration followed by fermentation on skins for some hours. Fermentation finishes in used, 400-litre barrels. Undergoes "batonnage" in the same barrels for 9 months on fine lees. Tasting notes: Strong intensity of varietal aromas of the Alvarinho variety. Full-bodied and voluminous with slight presence of ripe tannins. Dry finish with the bitter notes typical of the variety

Single Estate Organic Wine. / 8 months in new and used French oak barrels. / Grapes from old vines of the following varieties: Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz e Touriga Franca. / Schist soils of the Douro Superior. Grapes: Touriga Nacional (60%), Tinta Roriz/Temperanillo (30%), Touriga Franca (10%). Origin: Selected organic grown grapes of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional in the schist soils of Quinta do Côa estate, in the heart of the Douro Superior. We looked for the best of each grape variety, like the spicy notes and firm tannins of Tinta Roriz, the notes of rockrose and smooth tannins of Touriga Franca and the complex aromas of black fruits and berries balanced by very fresh floral notes of the Touriga Nacional of the Douro Superior. Vinification: Hand-picked grapes to small perforated boxes. Reception with full destemming, followed by crushing and cooling. Fermentation in stainless steel vats with temperature crontrol, with maceration at around 26ºC. Smooth and prolonged maceration and part of the malolactic fermentation was made in seasoned oak barrels. Ageing: 8 months in new and used French oak barrels

Grapes: Alvarinho (35%), Verdelho (30%), Rabigato (30%), Viognier (5%). Origin: Quinta da Pedra Escrita estate is located in Freixo de Numão - Douro Superior, with an average altitude of 575 meters. The windy and dry soils of the Estate are predominantly of granite, sandy and very poor in nutrients. Here I grew my first vineyards, always believing that the granite soils give us wines with highly complex aromas and great longevity, like in the old times. Vinification: Hand-picked grapes to small perforated boxes of 15 Kg, cold fermentation technology on reductive environment, with controlled temperature at about 16 ºC, very gentle crushing and pressing in an inert atmosphere to preserve all the aromatic potential of grapes. We made a great effort that all the pre-fermentation operations are carried out within the greater accuracy because it's responsible for the intrinsic quality of future wine. This wine fermented in used French oak and remains there after a short racking on fine lees with regular stirring "battonage" until the making of the final blend in the end of Spring time. Ageing: Fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels for 6 months with "batonnage" until bottling, followed by a period of maturation in bottle for at least 4 months

Origin: In this wine we look for the aromatic concentration and high acidity of the grapes from very old vines planted in higher altitudes, at about 550 meters above sea level, to highlight all the mineral and creamy character of this sparkling wine. Vinification: The harvest started mid August, in order to pick grapes with high acidity and low sugar level. Hand-picked grapes to small perforated boxes. The grapes are crushed directly to the pneumatic press with cold technology on reductive environment, with controlled temperature at about 16ºC, using very smooth processes under inert atmosphere to preserve all aromatic potential of the grapes. Fermented partially in French oak barrels, followed by a period on fine lees with regular stirring "batonnage" until February. Ageing: After the second fermentation in the bottle - Classic method - the wine ages for 16 months at a regular temperature of 12ºC. "Rémouage" manual followed by the "degorgement glacée" . Final maturation in bottle for 3 months
