Pedro’s started out on a shoestring budget in the town of Los Gatos on November 29, 1972. A twelve-table restaurant which developed an immediate following, allowing two full expansions. Two years of planning were devoted to the second unit Santa Clara, which opened its doors on May 13, 1980.

Pedro’s Restaurant has been the result of hard work and devotion. We offer a varied and unique selection of authentic Mexican creations. Santa Clara Pedro’s seats 325 people on the main floor.

We’ve been coming to Pedro’s for years and we decided to take my grandma for her 80th birthday which I had made sure to mention in the “special notes” section. Nobody sang happy birthday, no complimentary dessert, nothing. The table next to us also had someone celebrating their birthday so we assumed that would be the case for us as well. Unfortunately not. I made sure to point out that it was her birthday when we were paying the bill and it wasn’t until then that he asked if we wanted anyone to sing to her/free dessert. We kindly declined as we felt it was too late. If you are planning on celebrating a milestone birthday, I would not recommend coming here.

They nickel and dimed everything. And it was a much smaller menu than I remember.

Nowhere was it listed on OpenTable or the website menu that lunch is a buffet. Over there many options we could not eat being vegetarians. Also the live music was very loud making it difficult to have good conversations. Not a value for money, food tasted all bland. It's americanized Mexican food.

The cheese enchiladas were made perfectly. The sauce was perfect. Though there was a a few mistakes with the bill. However I believe it was taken care of.

First time here, food was amazing! Taste & quality. Everyone's energy, customer service was welcoming ,friendly & humorous! Mariachi was amazing as well! Will come back in the near future! Occasion: Birthday, party of 5 with 2 children under 5.

We love coming to this location. The servers have always been fantastic and the food really good. The prices are a lil bit over whelming when the bill comes but aren't all prices high right now?

The outside and interior are beautiful. We were expecting the food to be fancier and better. Lighting was a bit too bright. Overall good service, food and not too expensive.

We enjoyed our visit… food was tasty, service was good (not great), and the ambiance was warm, friendly and upbeat without being obnoxious… but boy, have they raised their prices since the last time we were here. I get that everything is more expensive these days but at these prices, it has definitely become more of a “special occasion” restaurant now than one that I would frequent on a more regular basis.

Food was good and tasty . They have started charging for chips and salsa which used to be free before . Also they ask you if you want Habanero sauce , you will pay extra for it but they don’t tell you upfront about it.
