Great food and great service. Thanks for a great time
Waitress was not attentive to our table.
It was a great spot except right next door is your view of a huge homeless camp. Hard to find parking as well. If you could, get dropped off since we didn’t feel safe walking.
The service and food are outstanding. You will not be disappointed, Rafael and the rest of the staff are great.
One of my favorite restaurants. They always add a personal touch when you are there. Spectacular food!
Filet of Sole amazing!
Cacio Pepe insane!
Lobster Ravioli a must have!
Millefoglie is to die for!
Very nice restaurant. Good tasty but small portions which you expect at a nice restaurant. Warning: BEER ANS WINE ONLY. Mad at myself for not checking before. That’s on me, not them.
Always a delight to dine at Pecorino!!
Great setting and lovely outdoor patio. Friendly, kind attentive staff. Food was average for Italian. Appreciated the good bread and olive oil but thought the mains could use some work. They offered Paella as a special, and it was really bland rice and seafood (with a random chicken wing thrown in there).
We were the only customers there when we first arrived. Service was prompt and the people friendly. Restaurant is on a noisy corner of San Vicente across from the Veterans tent city. Food was good but the limited selection menu was disappointing. Good wine list. Might come back in normal times and dine inside.
Perfect ambient for couples, people who like to talk to each other, people who are interested in having an amazing time in a cozy restaurant with a great service and delicious dishes! The fish is extraordinary!!! I’ve tried the branzino and another recommendation from the chef. Unique! We also had the vegetarian meatballs, simply delicious! The service is impeccable, the food is DELICIOUS and overall an amazing experience there. I definitely recommend it and dare to try whatever they suggest on and off the menu! Thank you guys! See you again
A completely and utterly memorable evening, made all the more memorable by the incredibly attentive and friendly help from the owner, and the entire wait and kitchen staff. Every dish was amazing, and the wine suggestions were fabulous. The enormous 43oz T-bone that we shared after starters and pasta was one of the most extraordinary dining experiences I have had recently.
Food was good and the staff was incredibly nice
All of our dinners were off the chart delicious. The salmon, sole, branzino and the backed onion appetizer were all insanely delicious. This local gem never disappoints. Yum!
This is the first time I’ve had to complain about a restaurant My son has severe nut and mustard allergies . He alerted the server as soon as we ordered as he always does, she forgot to tell the chef and we were served food that contained the very things he was allergic to....if we had not asked again , my son would have ended up in the hospital. Worst of all, the manager treated it as if it was no big deal. My son travels all the time for his work and this has never happened before, certainly not in an expensive restaurant....the check was $ 250 . So be careful if you go to this restaurant
Excellent experience and perfect way to enjoy birthday celebration.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Exemplary meal, and environment for my wife & family happy occasion. Food, service, atmosphere perfect, .thank you Raphaelo & Erin
The filet of sole was unique and delicious! Excellent service
Excellent service and food
This is a superb restaurant that never disappoints.
Packed guests in like sardines, understaffed and poor service. Terrible value.
Made a reservation for Valentine's day and the restaurant was slammed. Hostess did her best and got us seated after a short wait and offered a glass of champagne which we accepted - nice touch. The service and food were excellent. Cudos to the staff for being able to handle the Valentine's day crush.
I parked in the back, per the sign that reads “Parking for Pecorino”, only to be confronted at the check in that I needed to use the valet and be charged ANOTHER $15 (with tip). Ridiculous and unexpected...I read the sign, I spent $210 for a dinner for two, and received this “gift” at the end of my meal. I come to the restaurant often and will reconsider given last nights overall surprise and service level. Sad.
While the food is quite good overall, the wine list is limited and considerably overpriced (as are the main and other dishes). Moreover, the owner/maître d was quite inhospitable and has demonstrated and attitude toward non-regulars on both my recent visits. Given the number of good Italian restaurants in the Brentwood neighborhood, Pecorino rates toward the bottom in terms of value and quality.
Food was good but not great. A little pricy. The restaurant closes super early and we felt a little rushed at the end.
Service was attentive and friendly.
Everything was perfect... the table, our server, the food... dessert was good but our dinner was great‼️
The food is absolutely outstanding. This is genuine Italian and the chefs and staff make the evening exceptional. I’d highly recommend. You’re in for a real treat.
Nice neighborhood restaurant vibe... Service and food were excellent. Cacio Pepe is a can't miss dish.
Great service, good food
Very good ambient
A favorite standby. ALWAYS FAB!!!
Food was good. Service was good. We enjoyed the round table near the window, and had a great time!
Good food, comfortable ambiance, but the portions were quite small for the price.
Delicious food , great service!
Very disappointing dinner. Expensive meal for low quality food and service. Charged $6 for stale bread. No acknowledgement from the server and/or manager when I told them I did not care for the eggplant parmigiana for $22.
We took our parents here for Christmas Eve dinner, couple of things right off the bat. The restaurant was decorated well, the layout was good and was not overly crowded. The staff was hot and cold, all we’re very friendly, but not very attentive to the table. Drinks took awhile, it just felt like we had to always track someone down. Their offering was either the regular menu or they had a price fixed offering as well. The truck was everyone at the table had to go with the price menu if one person wanted it. We had two teenagers with us and this would have been a waste at 75.00 a head. Also found that they were “out” of certain items on the menu but in reality they were steering you to a certain selection. Example there was a burrata special and a burrata on the main menu, they told us they were out of the main menu burrata but we could have the special. We also found that they were less than accommodating for special requests which was fine as it was stated to be so on the menu but just beware they really mean it. Lastly the quality of the food was decent. Four of us had a special pasta which was homemade pasta noodles with olive oil and black pepper swirled around in a pecorino cheese wheel for flavor table side. The show was fun, the quantity of food was challenged and there were no sides served with the pasta so it was uninspired at best. One of our party ordered a seafood medley pasta dish, one the ny steak and one the salmon. The table did not get any appetizers, but they do charge for bread as an FYI. We also had a bottle of wine and three desserts among the party. At the end when the bill came I was astonished to see the total was around 460.00 dollars including the wine which was around 85.00. Had this been a 300.00 dinner maybe I would feel differently but it was so overpriced to what the value was I don’t think we will be back anytime soon.
A hidden gem. There is a sea of Italian restaurants in Brentwood, but, under the wire, Pecorino is always wonderful in every way! Like being in Italy.
We always enjoy Pecorino. Great Cacio e Pepe tonight along with veal chop. No rush to turn the table so we could enjoy conversation and finish our wine in a civilized manner
Excellent pastas made by hand, nothing too salty and desserts not too sweet. It was a great first date on a Friday evening.
food is amazing !!! service is top notch they really care !
Very nice place. Owner was very friendly and great cacio y pepe
Our favorite "go-to" neighborhood restaurant. Great charm. Love it!
