   We visited last night after receiving a very generous voucher for my birthday for a family member. The food is salty, over priced and the portions are painfully small. We had the same experience others have had with being sat at the bar despite the restaurant being nearly empty and us having a reservation. We were given the choice of either this or a ‘counter bar seat’ which was a counter overlooking the stairs to the toilet. We were rushed through the set menu, the wait staff would usually be hanging around us to change our cutlery whilst we were still eating. An awkward experience all round. A Gilda comprising of an olive and an anchovy on a cocktail stick set you back £5.50 each. And I’m still not sure how that and a slice of focaccia are deemed a ‘chefs selection’. Despite ordering extra dishes outside of the set menu we left incredibly hungry. The deserts main flavour was burnt, and you get one portion. The wait staff knew nothing about the me u or dishes and they were not explained at all. Not what I expected for a nearly £200 bill. I would not return and I’d urge you to save your money or spend it somewhere else. No wonder the other restaurant did not last.

   One of the best value lunches in town. Four sensational dishes for £30. All the food is incredible and very creative. Great service from a fantastic team. Highly recommended

   We went to pearly queen for a summer's day lunch, it was perfect. The oysters were fresh and delicious. I had the Cuttlefish & wild mushroom lasagna, it was delicious. Service was lovely. Lovely atmosphere

   Enjoyable experience though not cheap. Different flavour combinations interesting and tasty. Odd shaped bowls, which were not easy to eat out of basically the only downside.

   The food is absolutely sensational. Just when you think it can’t get better the next dish tops the last. The staff are so helpful, kind and fun. The ambiance is relaxing and intimate. Favourite restaurant in London.

   2nd visit Great welcome Superb food. Fab drinks. (Felt forgotten in regard to service. Several times we were left without food or drinks. We could see that other tables had a better experience. Example, we had to get the staffs attention if we wanted anything.

    Attentive service, food really good with unusual combination of ingredients. We took the chef testing menu that for 45£ per head is a nibble, oyster, one starter, one main and one dessert everything to share. For 90£ and portion size I found it quite pricey. Overall nice experience
