   It was a seafood night in the Peal Restaurant, so our two entrees were grouper and scallops. The grouper was significantly over cooked and the scallops were like rubber. We mentioned to the server. It was extremely surprising as we were the only ones in the restaurant. We had a drink in the bar before eating and later after the theater and the service was great. The bar tender mixed the slightly dirty martini perfectly. I would recommend the bar but not the restaurant. There are plenty of good restaurants in the CBC area.

   1st visit and won’t be our last. Server Meghan was a delight and helpful regarding the menu and personally speaking. Our food: bouillabaisse and short ribs w/Brussels sprouts/spaetzl were some of the best tasting fresh food we have eaten in a long time. We purposefully saved half of each entree so we could eat as a leftover and get dessert: white chocolate bread pudding, which was wonderful, and gladly, not heavy.

   The Pearl Restaurant was found CLOSED when we arrived on time for our reservation, despite multiple confirmations through Open Table. Luckily, the hotel bar was open and the kitchen was staffed (to handle hotel room service) and the bartender Santos scrambled to accommodate us and two other parties in the bar. Santos did a great job under the circumstances, even though he was the only person handling the room... It seemed very strange that a Hilton property would close a restaurant when the hotel is open AND not communicate with Open Table.

   Great service from Amy who was very accommodating when we wanted to sit in the bar area instead of restaurant so we could watch the Astros game. The food we ordered was excellent and my husband cleaned his plate with “the best shrimp and grits” he’d ever had (which is an extensive list!) We will definitely be going back!

   Food was delicious. The tables and chairs were nice and the service was good. Like all hotels restaurants the prices were a little inflated but it was worth the time.

   I'll keep it simple, don't bother. You will find better and more interesting literally a block away in any direction.

   I was somewhat disappointed in the facility ( several burnt out lights, most tables empty, employee who asked my wife how old she was.)
