Restaurant was CLOSED
Location had been closed for two weeks by the time we arrived. It is currently closed. We continued to receive reminders for our reservation, although the restaurant no longer is in operation.
Open table sent me to a restaurant that had been closed for a week. They confirmed the reservation the same day and I found out when I arrived at the hotel. I think you owe me a $10.00 Uber ride. I would assume that having a reservation at a closed restaurant is not a good service.
Close the day of my reservation !!! It was a bad joke
Your Hotel and Casino has been CLOSED !!! CLOSE ! CLOSE ! CLOSE ! CLOSE ! CLOSE !
Fantasic, authentic, beautiful setting, excellent service. We went on new years eve, loved it.
Good dim sum lunch with the family.
The food was good but the service was awful. We didn’t receive 3 items we asked for, we asked someone to get our waiter. They came back and replied “I told him but he said he’s too busy” so we asked for our check and there was no explanations offered so we just paid and left.
Very authentic Chinese restaurant serving excellent dim sum in a very elegant and clean restaurant.
We had Dim Sum here before and as usual the Dim Sum has always been delicious! The food is always served fresh and hot. Our waiter was nice and friendly.
Considered the abalone but at $88 per person decided on other options. The wonton soup was fantastic and the cucumber salad will keep the vampires away for 6 months easy. And with my candied walnuts & honey prawns and my 14th anniversary wife chose the pork soy essance. We ate, shared, talked, people watched and with most Chinese food we had take away too. And, most of all we had a great time. You have to ask for silverware or learn to use chopsticks. When the bill came we received a 20% discount. Just, because we were local yokel's.
Don't even bother going as everything on the menu/etc is pure fiction. Place is a disaster the employees dont even know what hours they are even open. Food looked good but service is so awful we didn't even get a chance to try it. Stay away, as you will absolutely be dissapointed.
The restaurant is rather small, but we couldn’t receive attentive service. One employee denied to fill our water for the reason that he is not serving as bringing out food..We requested to cut up some of the dim sum couple times, they never come back to finish the task. There is no “siu mah” on the menu
Best dim sum ever. We just came from eating dim sum in San Francisco at Great Eastern Restaraunt which was excellent. But the dim sum was more refined and the flavors were incredible.
Best Dim Sum ever.
Great that they offer local Vegas discounts. The food - mediocre' , service was okay coz caught the change shift and missed the Dim Sum - which was the purpose of the visit to them. Must've missed the dim sum hours on their website, not sure.
The food was really, really good, and a nice menu. The place was empty on a Saturday night which does not bode well. Service was friendly. If you like Chinese food it is worth a try.
Lamb in cumin dish was poorly trimmed, and had too much grissel, the flavor was very good.
The seafood chow mien didn’t have enough ingredients for the price,
Good dim sum restaurant. Staff was fast and helpful . Had a person with me that didn't know what to expect.
We were expecting the dim sum carts to come thru the dining area, but I guess they changed their format. You order on a dim sum menu and they will check it off as they bring them out. Very organized. But I kinda wanted to see the visual and smell of the steaming entrees. Great experience overall. Not too busy for 12:30pm on a Saturday. Will go there to dine again.
Delicious food very reasonably priced. Authentic Chinese cuisine in a quiet, comfortable setting. The service was outstanding. Mr Chi, our waiter was very knowledgeable about the preparation of the food and was extremely patient answering our questions about the use of pork and other non-halal ingredients. Highly recommend.
We had dinner here to celebrate my father's 93rd birthday because Pearl Ocean could accommodate 11 of us. We requested a quiet table and the hostess graciously offered us a private dining room. We chose to dine in the main dining room instead because it was so pleasantly decorated. Our waiter was very courteous, professional and recommended many great dishes. Service is prompt and not too intrusive; although, we could have used a little help boxing our leftovers. Our dinner was delicious! Among the many dishes we order - Peking Duck, Five Guys Xiao Long Bao, Stir-fry Lobster, Clams in Black Bean sauce and Wolfberries Pudding
The food was amazing, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Food was a bit bland. New place still needs work on flavors,
Best dim sum ever, including Yank Sing. The sticky rice and crispy BBQ pork rice noodle crepes were fantastic as were the baked bao. The servers were lovely.
I would not recommend this restaurant, it stuck, food bad, service okay and food had funky after taste.
One of the best chinese restaurants I have ever experienced
Restaurant was nearly empty on a Friday nite at 6pm. Not sure why...but the service was very good and the food was excellent. We did the Restaurant Week menu. We plan to go back for lunch to try more of the Dim Sum.
Highly disappointed!!! Many of the special dim sum foods listed on the hotel restaurant web site was no longer available and was told their chef also recently left the hotel. Restaurant was clean, comfortable, quiet, and staff was really friendly and helpful. Nothing special about their food that I couldn't get at another Chinese restaurant or back home for a lower price. Even the adjacent casino was pretty dead. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone unless you are staying at Lucky Dragon Hotel and have no other Chinese food to eat.
After a very rocky start service-wise we had a fairly enjoyable meal with only a couple of exceptions. I like the fact that it's pretty "authentic " and most of the patrons were Chinese. Now that I know what I'm up against in the service department I might return though there are lots of good, less expensive options in Chinatown.
There is no doubt this is a high-end Chinese restaurant with high food quality and prices to go with it. The dining room is clean and tastefully designed and the service is generally good. I've dined there more than half a dozen times for lunch, dinner and dim sum, in small and large groups. When the food is good, it is really good; but it's not always consistent the times I've been there.
Go for the food: authentic Chinese cuisine. Despite the not very exciting ambiance. Excellent roasted duck, Buddha's Delight, shrimp dumplings.
Very classy, modern, clean dim sum joint and I will be back to try more. The dim sum is cooked to order and very unique in variation of dumplings. It is a must if u love Hong Kong dim sum!
Dim sum was excellent but try to lower the price and the service is good too
The best Dim Sum in town. The service can be slow, but it's a great no-pressure atmosphere where you can stay and enjoy your meal and conversation. Great discounts for players cards and locals!
Drove up to Valet sign at Lucky Dragon - no one there (found out later that you have to go around to the other half of the hotel to have it valeted (they see you at the other side but they don't direct or greet you, fyi). So wound up self-parking.
Went inside, asked a dealer where Pearl Ocean is - she had no idea so I just walked around and found a sign (it's on the second floor). Easiest is to park on the 2nd floor yourself then walk into the hotel.
Walked into the restaurant where my family was already seated, hostess was busy on her phone so she didn't show me to the table - just waltzed right in myself. Fine.
Ordered a few dishes - the food was good, nothing I'd clamor back for. Service was ok - she was friendly and tried to help my Ma with her questions. Unfortunately the server forgot that she's allergic to seeds (gave us sesame seeds on one of our dishes) and also forgot our order of potstickers.
Check came out to about 90 bucks for a cup of soup for the 4 us, one order of soup dumplings, one Chow Fun, one Honey Walnut Shrimp, one Shrimp crepe wrap, 3 bowls of rice and 4 cups of tea. Meh.
Great food. The portions could be a little larger but very good quality
The food was authentic Chinese cuisine, delightful. The waiter was very helpful in suggesting dishes appropriate for non-Chinese folks like us.
Service was impeccable. Food taste and presentation was amazing.
Very priciey - especially the live fish opt,ion - way out there!!!
Great food accompanied by great service.
