Food was excellent as always. Service was decent but not as good as previous visits. Still we'll return again.
The customer service was excellent, and the foods there were amazing , we have enjoyed our dinner for entire night , thank you Pearl provided such a wonderful service.
The muscles were decadent with a soft yellow curry offering lingering flavors of cinnamon and cilantro, perfectly prepared leaving you wishing you had ordered more!
Perfectly prepared and mouth watering filet bites. Tender to the bite, cut it with a butter knife. Savory red wine reduction with a blue cheese bite to finish it off. #foodporn

This is my first time reviewing Pearl, but not my first time dining there. Going to Pearl with my family has been somewhat of a tradition for the last several years. It has always been a good experience overall. Today's visit was the first time I felt disappointed by the food. Unfortunately we were celebrating my mother's birthday and mother's day...literally the worst day for the food to be bad. My husband's risotto was chewy and glue-ish. Risotto is hard to get right so I'll give them credit for trying. However, the Dungeness crab "chowder" my father in law and I both ordered was watery, like they forgot to add the cream, and while it tasted a little bit like crab there wasn't any crab in it. My mother in law tried to order the fried oysters as her meal, but later we were informed that they weren't available. She settled on the baked oysters which she didn't care for in the end so my sister ended up eating them. Overall the meal was $200 before the tip which was a lot for the quality of food we got. On the upside the wait staff was attentive, the raw oysters I had were good, and the drinks were great. We probably won't be coming back to Pearl as there are just so many other dining options in the area to choose from.
We can to Pearl for Mother’s Day Brunch. It started out great with the delicious scones but, unfortunately, went down hill after that. About half of our party ordered the strawberries and cream but were told it was sold out—this was a bummer because there were a couple of us that couldn’t eat or didn’t prefer the other 2 options available. Next we ordered our meals, 4 of us ordered the French toast and some plates had bacon on them, some didn’t, none of us got syrup in the provided syrup containers and the French toast was cold and didn’t taste fresh. The food was way over priced for what it was. Overall, it was an ok experience. I don’t think we will be coming back here again.

We always enjoy Pearl. The food is good and the service was good - not rushed but not a forever wait. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. We eat at Pearl every time we come to Bellevue.

We had crabcakes which are the best in town. Came with corn relish and fries. $38 price tag a little high. Thankfully we had a discount coupon.

Great experience for our anniversary celebration! The service was great - attentive, but not overbearing. Food was excellent! We used a coupon we got in the mail, but would definitely go back even with no discount.

Went here on the recommendation of friends for our anniversary. We both had the filet mignon. Food was good and cooked as requested. For dessert, I had the espresso creme brûlée which was excellent. Wife had the bread pudding which came out lukewarm.
Service was adequate at best. We were seated on time and then waited 18 minutes for a server to take drink orders. 35 minutes after arrival the appetizers and salad arrived. Service picked up after that.
We were seated next to the servers station amongst several large business parties. Not exactly the quiet evening we were hoping for.
Overall a good experience. Will be back.
I took my staff for dinner. Our experience was wonderful, our server was great. She recommend dishes and engaged with us about our meals and her recommendations were spot on.
My staff was very pleased and we had a great time.
We went on a Monday night and business was slow. Service was performed well, but the time between table visits was way too long, as was the wait for our appetizers and entrees. The octopus was great, tender chewy not shoe leather, but the bread - rolls, actually - were probably great Saturday. Ok Sunday, but stale, hard and served cold Monday. Inexcusable.
I had the arugula beet salad - a restaurant standard nowadays - which was passable. Nothing more.
The entree, on the other hand, was extraordinary. The sablefish (black cod) in a miso broth with a few button mushrooms and wontons is Pearl's signature dish and worth every penny. Gloriously roasted with a deep brown crust, every flake was perfectly cooked, and flaked into 50-cent sized pieces. Loved every bite.
My tablemates ordered the simply roasted halibut, which was equally delicious, but unlike the sablefish, nothing I couldn't- and do - duplicate at home.
I should mention the wine list, which is both interesting and excellent, and although not cheap, is far more reasonable than some other Bellevue restaurants I could name.
The ambiance of Pearl is in keeping with its name: you feel buried deep down in a closed shell. If only it had a view, or even a little light.

Family Easter brunch. Scones and strawberries & cream starters were delicious. Medium steak came out rare. Easily corrected but can do better. Arugula salad came out as a lettuce garnish. Server said that was it. Disappointing. Still enjoyed our dining experience but food staff needs to tighten it up.
Absolutely delicious food and wonderful wait staff. Noise level was a little high for easy conversation.

I took my friends to Pearl to thank them for all the help they’ve given me. The service was excellent; the server was upbeat and helpful. The food was wonderful. All three of us oohed and aahed about our meals. We had a wide sampling from the menu. It’s very expensive so really just for special occasions.

We went to lunch to celebrate a birthday of a friend. They seated us in a nice booth which was very private. Food was excellent as was the service. They even treated my friend to a free dessert in celebration of her birthday. Perfect lunch!

Great seafood ,and ambiance ! Our first time there, I did notify them that it was our anniversary and this was not noted by them , Other than that , we enjoyed it very much
My husband received a call at 6:03 stating that they were wondering if we were still coming for our 6:00 reservation. We showed up at 6:04. Thought that was a little ridiculous bc the place was pretty dead. I could understand if the place was packed with people waiting. Service was pretty darn slow & the food was pretty good but I thought a tad overpriced.
This was our 36th anniversary and we hoped for a special night. The bar was very casual and the calamari just fair. We were there during Happy Hour and my $8 Cosmo was fine. My husband asked for a bourbon on the rocks “whatever is in the well.” When we got the bill, we were surprised the modest drinks were $10 each - hardly happy hour prices. The restaurant was practically empty - only three tables of diners. Our meals were OK (chicken pasta dish and a pork chop dish) but not outstanding. I had noted when I made the reservation that it was our anniversary and I also mentioned it to our wait person, but nothing was offered in celebration. Usually we have been given a free dessert at other restaurants. I don’t think we’ll return.
We were a party of 6 celebrating a very special birthday on a Sunday night. The restaurant was almost empty and very quiet. Initially our server was attentive but as the evening went on our table was left with dirty appetizer plates, empty glasses and no one around for us to order more drinks. Another sever happened to walk by and notice that we stacked all the dirty dishes which he kindly removed. Although the food was pretty good it was not as warm as it should have been. Again, our server was AWOL during the meal. When she did make an appearance she was always very friendly. For a $500 meal we expect a lot more, however, I am noticing astronomical prices and very sub par service in many Bellevue restaurants.
We keep returning for the consistently excellent food and great service.

Mediocre food, early American dungeon atmosphere
other than the fire alarm going off during our meal (which went off for over 30 minutes) it was a nice dinner. Would recommend the oysters for sure. And the drinks were very tasty

Great ambience, great service by the staff BUT my steak was really under seasoned.
Great food, great service. No complaints, we were all very happy with our meals which included the scallops, fish and the short ribs with gnocchi. Yum.

A bit expensive for the quality of food. I had the crab cake appetizer for dinner. I expect it to be small. The crab cake small (that was ok) but it had three (3) pieces of shell/cartilage. There were about 7 French fries. The corn salsa was ok. But for $18, the qualiity was NOT there.
My diner partner had the filet. OK, not a top piece of meat for $48. Plenty of mashed potatoes, but NO veggies.
The artichoke appetizer was VERY good, but that’s was the high point of the meal.
The staff was very friendly and attentive, the food was great , the prices were much less than we expected considering how nice the restaurant was , thank you for a great experience.
This was my go to place but has been steadily declining. Food and value is very disappointing. Oysters are very salty, Dry salmon, stale potatoes.
It must have been an off night for the staff as they rarely checked on us. The food took a very long time to get delivered even though the restaurant was empty?
Had dinner Sunday night. Food as always was outstanding. Service was not. We sat for over 30 minutes with a glass of water waiting for our drinks to arrive. Took 15 minutes to order them. Not a good experience. Restaurant was not very busy.
Food was outstanding. My only complaint was the noise level. We went on a Saturday night and there were 2 large tables of 10 guests surrounding our small table for 2 and the voices were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talk. Unfortunately, our server was unable to find a quieter spot to move us to.
Pearl has good food, but this visit had a lot of large parties, resulting in an excruciating amount of noise and quite some time for water, drinks and food. But it is a beautiful restaurant, just needs to manage larger parties a bit better!

The food was alright. Our table wasn't ready yet so we sat in the bar and the tables are very awkwardly spaced. I wouldn't return. The quality of the food seemed not great.
