   For the price I was not expecting to dine in a lobby and I would have expected all elements of the presented food to be spectacular. Specifically this tea service lacked real clotted cream and included an inedible brownie. The harpist and the waiter were a highlight and generally the service was great. The false cherry blossom theming was beautiful. In particular for the food, the cherry chutney baguette was delicious. I would value this experience around $60-80 per person. Especially if you are thinking about this as a Mother’s Day or similar celebration event, I do not believe it is worth the price.

   Once in a lifetime experience for tea. Soak it all in. Veeeeery expensive.

   Food, ambiance and especially the service were exceptional. Our waiter was attentive and the harpist was a nice added touch. There is a great tea selection as well. While the experience was expensive it is still highly recommended

   My friends and I met for Cherry Blossom tea. The Venue is spectacular, industrial remnants of the days it was the Old Post Office with elegant chandeliers, furnishings and beautiful bar. We can’t wait to go back for lunch and tour the bell tour. The service team , friendly, knowledgeable and paced the tea just right.

   We had a wonderful time. The decor was beautiful and the harpist was exceptional! Amiir our waiter was also wonderful!

   We were very disappointed with our experience specially related to a royal tea reservation. I used the mobile/phone Waldorf Astoria Peacock Alley webpage Cherry Blossom Tea Reservation link. It launched me into the OpenTable app on my phone to reserve. However, that link does not limit your visibility to the times when high high tea is served (Th-Su 12-3:30). It shows you all available reservations for Peacock Alley. I believe that all tea times were already taken but since I didn’t know, I thought that the available times were still for tea, which they were not. I checked the reservations in the desktop version and OpenTable was more clear about reservations for high tea, but how many of us do reservations on a desktop that often anymore? My spouse and I both took a day off work in order to travel in and enjoy his first high tea. We arrived and were told we would not be served high tea since it was outside the times they serve it. We stayed for lunch anyways and they still marked us absent for our OpenTable reservation, which required I contact customer support. It was a frustrating waste of a trip and day off due to the reservation system limitations. Just call them, don’t trust OpenTable for their high tea reservations.

   The presentation was beautiful and the setting was spectacular. Harpest and was super talented! I was disappointed in the gluten free offering. The portion sizes and quality didn’t match that of the standard offering. Because of that I don’t feel like we got our full value. If you don’t have any dietary restrictions, highly recommend.
