Good food. Novel cocktails. Nice wine list. Tentative staff. We sat at the main dining hall. However, we are looking forward to check out the happy hours in the future.
I go here quite often and the butter cake is definitely a must try
Great food, great ambiance
This is one of the best restaurants around. Each time we’ve come the food has been exquisite. They are the best in class for service, food, drink and atmosphere. Love this place!!
Service was slow. Steaks were cooked to perfection. For the amount of money spent, someone shouldn’t have to worry about waiting extended periods of time without being checked on.
We wanted to get dinner before our show at the Kalita Humphreys Theater. Made a reservation and was greeted and seated quickly at a hi-top. Place was 1/2 full for 6:45 on a Saturday. Steady flow of people but never filled the place. Maybe there is a late night crowd.
Food overall was good. I ordered the short ribs with mashed potatoes along with a side of brussel sprouts. Thought prices were a little high for portion size (calamari and the brussel sprouts). Service was prompt but did need to ask for a ware fill once.
Would we visit again: yes.
We we recommend for anyone else looking to grab dinner before a performance: yes.

Great food and great atmosphere! I wish our server had been the same. He was very nice but definately needs a lesson in serving at that level.
Oh well, chalk it up to experience. We have been several times prior and will continue to enjoy this gem.
A dog kept barking. It caught me off guard because I didn’t expect a dog in the dining area. I was mildly disgusted and kept thinking of possible infections. Bread was awesome!!! I’ll be back for more. Food selection was not that great but I haven’t developed a taste for it.
The food was amazing. We had the Cajun ribeye and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The salmon was the best I have had. Our server Saul V was amazing. He gave great menu and drink suggestions. He was super friendly and attentive. Also the calamari was well seasoned and tender. Definitely will come back.
The food was outstanding the short ribs melt in your mouth. The Brussels sprouts delicious. The butter cake was so outstanding I would come back just for that. Excellent service. We had a splendid time. Already planning our next visit.
It was valentines weekend so you can’t help worrying that a restaurant won’t be great. But we had a wonderful experience. Our table was ready when we arrived. Drinks were wonderful. Clam chowder was the best I’ve had. Two of my dining companions had it as well, and they agreed. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Our table had the ribs, short rib, brick chicken, and mushroom burger. Everyone was thrilled with their entree. The dining room was cozy. We will definitely be back.

For an upscale place it was okay. When we arrived the restaurant wasn't busy and plenty of the patio seating was open but we were seated in an area that was okay. It seemed odd that a nicer restaurant still has salt in carboard containers but had pepper in pepper mills. The waiter seemed some what confused when I would tell him things as well as had problems with the order. I had the sea bass which was okay, nothing special. We also had the asparagus which was bland and under cooked. The brussels sprout were great and my girlfriends salmon was good. We had orders of cheesecake, while the portion was generous the flavor was okay and the texture was great. For the price, I wouldn't go here again.

This is definitely a place for a special night. We enjoyed ourselves and the meal, it’s a twice a year type of place for us.

Food is pretty good but a little pricey for what you get.
We love Paul Martin's. Normally, I give five stars on everything. However, your clam chowder needs to be called POTATO SOUP. Try to find the CLAMS! Therefore, as a person who has lived many years on the East Coast, and as one who KNOWS Great Clam Chowder, you've got some work to do. Easiest solution is to rename it Potato Soup. The better choice is to put enough clams in the soup so that EVERY BITE has a clam. Sorry to rant on your soup, but that was totally unexpected and will not be ordered again.

We had our date night here on Monday and it exceeded our expectations. We got an email coupon for a free dessert and it was possibly the best desert I’ve ever ordered. So much fun and such a good waiter.
This was my 3rd visit to Paul Martin’s. The braised short rib was so tender and the sauce complemented it perfectly. My husband raved about his sea bass! Our server,Nicholas, was on point. He always makes great recommendations. We will definitely be back and hopefully be seated with Nicholas again!
This place has completely gone downhill with their food. They had so many delicious things on the menu and they have now taken those items off. My friends and I went to this restaurant with our mouths set and to get there and they removed everything good from the menu. We almost left because there wasn't anything that sound appetizing. And yes people, they removed the fried chicken. It was such a disappointment. Don't bother going here unless you just want a drink.
Maybe got happy hour if I came for dinner I would order the brick chicken other than I don’t no if the server was new or what but and I do Realize thing happen but he accidentally spilled water in my cousins purse. And it was her birthday although they gave her free dessert in the desertWas not what the menu said there was no brown so after that he could not Split our checks correctly. Overall it was more Mishaps then good things

Paul Martin's was recommened to me by a client, so I finally made time to stop by, and it was GREAT! Love the atmosphere and the staff was amazing.

Perfect! Our server Saul took such great care of us by answering our questions, sharing his knowledge of the menu, bringing our apps, entrees and beverages in perfect timing and just his overall very pleasant demeanor! Couldn’t ask for anything more! We will definitely request him when we come back!

It was great.
Fantastic. Sat at a bar-booth at 6:30 (still happy hour) for early dinner, party of three. Steelhead with sweet potato fries and ahi tuna (spicier than expected, kudos!) were delicious. Slightly separated from bar, seating was perfect for conversation (private and quiet). Usually a patron of of the main restaurant (seating), we enjoyed the (slight) change of scenery. Paul Martin's is always great.

Exceptional experience! My out of town guest celebrated her birthday and Paul Martin manager stopped by the table with a card and gift certificate. Very impressed with this level of high touch customer service.
Our server, Joe, was fantastic. Very attentive and helpful. I would definitely go back again.
