Paul Martin's is one of my very favorite places to dine....inside or out! Looking forward to returning soon!!
Dining was outside due to Covid but the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
Linguine was over cooked , flavorless. Drink-linen was very good. Burger was good and so was my salad
My salmon sandwich and sweet potato fries were AMAZING!! I gave you a 4 star rating because my husband said he will never go again because this is the second meal he was unhappy with. He ordered a medium hamburger and it was well done. If it's not what he ordered he will eat it and not have it go back. If it horrid he won't eat it and will not send it back or complain. He will just never go back. BUT, I have NEVER had a bad meal! I was highly disappointed the 3 mushroom burger wasn't on the menu. Can't wait for it to come back. 🤩
Was our 22nd anniversary and we were so happy to get to have a nice dinner out. Thank you for being open.
One of the best halibut dinners I've ever had. Cooked to perfection in a wonderful sauce. Had the house salad and some of their delicious Mac and cheese. Staff is working hard in the heat to make it a great experience. Thanks again Paul Martins, you never disappoint.
Due to COVID-19, the happy hour menu had drinks only, no food. Still had a great time and enjoyed the drinks and food. I cannot give 5 stars because my experience was not quite exceptional.
We sat outside and it was a little hot (100 degree weather) but we were in the shade and the food was great, as was out server.
This was my first time at this restaurant. The food was good. The service was good. They have created a great outdoor dining scene during the COVID pandemic. We had the Brick Chicken and the Fried Chicken. The fried chicken is great.
I was very disappointed that the restaurant did not hold customers to the state mandate to wear masks when not at their tables. I was sadden to see that they did not enforce the regulation. A party of 6 was in line to check in before me and none of them had masks on. They did not even have masks with them. I saw 3 people go to the restrooms from their tables without masks. I would expect a fine restaurant like this to be concerned about their guests and our society and enforce the regulations set by our government. Do they want us to be shutdown for longer than we have to? Do they want to continue to suffer more restrictions and shut downs!
Make a stand and value the health and safety of your patrons!
Nice to sit outside and enjoy great food and service. Thank you for making it a great experience
It's always a great ambience at Paul Martin's! However, they forgot our bread and the harvest salad had mainly iceberg lettuce even though it was $21. I was hoping for more greens and less iceberg lettuce for that price.
Another fantastic evening at Paul Martin's. Service, food and drink were fabulous. The salt and pepper shrimp appetizer will be my new go-to item. Large shrimp perfectly cooked and a delicious dipping sauce. Yummy! Everyone loved their dinner which included salmon, fried chicken and appetizer ribs. Staff was very busy. May be could have used one additional server, but no complaints. Tables distanced, noticed staff regularly cleaning surfaces. Highly recommend.
Joey and team are Rock Stars. Food was delicious and the service Rob provided was top notch.
Great place for outdoor dining especially considering Covid!
Wonderful seating outside and the food was amazingly tasty. We had deviled eggs with bacon on top, lightly battered shrimp with tartar sauce and then shared a steak taco plate along with wine and sangria which was yummy. I love this place and their food is always good.
Paul Martins American Grill is the creme de la creme. I will recommend PMAG to everyone I meet in the Roseville area forever.
Our server was excellent. Unfortunately our salmon tacos were very poor. No taste. This is the first bad meal we've had there.
Great , our best place to dine
The food could be much better for the price.
They didn't have draft beer either.
Management not doing anything to keep people waiting in line distanced or requesting people waiting keep their faces covered. Many people walked inches passed in front of us with no face coverings On their way into the hostess desk or to be taken to table. Our side of the patio was very warm and breeze was passing on other side of building. Maybe some outdoor fans could help. No seat cushions so the wicker style patio furniture chairs were very low at the tables. No table decoration except a bottle of hand sanitizer. Food did not have much flavor. Large portions, nice menu descriptions but lackluster taste. Service was kind and professional. A bit pricy for so many areas needing improvement. Staff clearly making effort to do well.
Short ribs were overcooked.
Chinese chicken salad was smothered in dressing.
Waitress was fantastic.
Absolutely love it here. The customer service is outstanding!
Been coming to Paul Martins for over 10 years now. Service was excellent. Food quality seems to have gone down. Dinner salad very plain and boring. Salt n pepper shrimp although very tasty, I miss the larger prawns. Cedar plank salmon sauce was thick, instead of the jus of prior experience.
First and foremost what we were looking for was to be sure that they were following strict virus guidelines and they were. Because of that we felt very comfortable. This was unlike our experience at La Provence which had little or no social distancing guidelines which made no sense to my wife and I. The food was great at Paul Martins and the service was as well. Will definitely be back during this very rough period in time.
First time ever. Didn’t know what to expect. I must say, pleasantly surprised with the food and average experience. Nice job Paul Martin’s!
Great! I enjoyed myself
We love Paul Martin's & would dine there more often but it is a bit of a drive for us.
The halibut was cooked to perfection most places overcook this fish but not at Paul Martin's.
Our server was Nina & she was attentive, informative and very nice.
It was my wife’s birthday and we have lived in Roseville for over two years and I kept seeing the name Paul Martin’s both on Google Maps and around town.
I was to be honest, expecting McCormick & Schmicks pricing which like everything in the Fountains in Roseville is not for the five figure earners like us. But I was plesantly surprised. The pricing was reasonable and I did not have to take out a loan for the cover charge to the restaurant.
Paul Martin’s was nice, the service was great and the food was unforgettable. I loved the ambiance and the lack of snobbery. My wife loved the cheese cake and I really enjoyed the brick chicken. I recommend this place to anyone.
Great meeting with old friends. Service was very good as was the food.
Great service, excellent food and overall wonderful experience.
A friend recommended Paul Martin’s. I told her I wanted a place that was not brightly lit, not stuffy and with really good food as in was meeting a friend I hadn’t see in over 16 years. Paul Martin’s was exactly what we were looking for. I was able to quickly and easily make a reservation online as well.
I will definitely come here again.
It was my daughters birthday
Our server was super personable and made the whole experience
Anniversary dinner. Spacing of tables due to current Covid-19 pandemic was good. Ordered appetizer, drinks, salad, entree and dessert. Menu was smaller than normal, but adequate.
Appetizer and entree were very good although would expect a vegetable on the side at this price point. Salad was awful with iceberg lettuce, minimal ingredients and had no taste. Unfortunately, too..appetizer came before drinks and entree was served only a few minutes after salad was brought to table. This was despite the comment made by the server that there was no rush. We were only about 1/2 done with our salad and the guy from the kitchen snatched them as we moved them to side to make room for our entrees...
Overall, dinner was very expensive. $10 for a side salad and $14 for mixed drinks is excessive. Also, paying an additional $7 for a couple scoops of ice cream? Entrees were around $30.
Not sure if this is a supply chain issue with ingredients and/or just trying to make it through the pandemic, but higher prices were very noticeable..and we’ve been many other places...value just wasn’t there.
We felt very comfortable with the social distancing and face coverings worn by the staff... including the war era gas mask... The cool temperature of the restaurant on a very hot day was appreciated. Eric was attentive but not over bearing and his suggestions for food and drinks were great. We will be back.
The food was great, the service was amazing and the staff is taking extra care to socially distance and provide a clean experience in the midst of COVID 19.
Always good and a nice place to just sit back and relax
Always excited to come here. I have to give props to the two gals up front Tess and Haley and the management Joey and Kevin. Y’all hustle your buns off all night. I do not know everyone’s name but learning them. James, Paige and Noah in the bar. Eric, Paige and Alexis , servers. In all restaurants, especially these days, the staff do not get enough credit. They are working extra hard for less, so hoping everyone gives a thanks to the restaurant businesses that keep us sane and tip extra. Thank you!!! Food is always good-salt and pepper shrimp, spinach dip, salads, hoisin ribs on and on. Awesome place💕
Everything great. However, non or very few of the customers did not wear masks or observed social distancing walking in and out of the establishment. There was a sign on the entrance door, but that was all. I rather go to a restaurant that is by reservation only and ensures State guidelines...😷😢🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
