Overall a great experience... however, perhaps due to my late reservation, I was served the smallest piece of salmon as an entree that I've ever had. Other than that, a great evening.
Fun night out. Tacos were delicious. Unfortunately they were out of the blood orange margarita ingredients but we enjoyed a top shelf margarita with our food.
Service was great....J.J. is a wonderful waiter.....food was very good....My only criticism would be the wedge salad....lettuce was not as crisp as usual and the onions were in big chunks instead of diced.....I had skirt steak and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!!!
So nice to be back to one of my favorite places in Roseville. The menu is back on track after they had to really simplify to keep things going. George was our service and he did a great job. I had the Salmon Salad and it was right in line with me trying to eat very healthy. My friend had Salmon Quinoa and it looked amazing too. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful day.
It was a bit disappointing especially since I was there for my birthday, the food was not very tasteful and overall bland. I don’t know if they don’t look at reservations but it felt like I was a simple walk-in. Not returning.
We have been dining at your establishment for several years and have never been disappointed. We were there Monday evening 5/3/2021 to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. JJ was our server and did a very fine job seeing that our experience was special. I enjoyed the braised short rib, (as usual), while my Wife had the halibut. Both dinners were exactly what were expecting, (exceptional) !! However, I must say what really made the evening special was when JJ talked us into sharing the "Warm Butter Cake" for desert. If you were to look up the definition of "decadent" in the dictionary, you would see a picture of this very thing. Folks, it was beyond yummy !! On your next trip to Paul Martins for dinner, do yourself a favor and order this desert.
It was a very enjoyable evening !!
Prices have increased about 35-40% depending on the menu item. This is a big increase for dishes that are already priced on the high side. We love the food and service, so we will come back, but less frequently. $37 for a skirt steak with cauliflower (no salad) is A LOT. Especially since it used to be $25 or 27 pre-COVID. I understand trying to make up some lost income, but my income didn't go up! We did purchase takeout when indoor dining was banned, and there was about a 20% increase then (2020). Thankfully, we had a $100 gift card this time, but for two people we paid $130, including tip. We had an appetizer, 2 skirt steak entree's, added side of mashed potatoes, brought our own wine, and received free dessert for birthday. Hopefully there will be a point when prices go down....ya, I know, not likely, but I can dream!
Great Service and Great Food. We had a wonderful time. The warm butter cake was the best.
Lovely, relaxing environment for a casual dinner.
Delicious!! Drinks, dinner and dessert was wonderful!!
Tony, our waiter was amazing! The music was very loud, but they quickly turned the music down when we requested. The food was excellent! Enjoyed!! We will be back again!
We love PMs. Come pretty often. Ate in the bar which wasn’t busy but service was the slowest we’ve ever had. Seemed like our server kept disappearing-maybe working outside tables too?
Service was excellent and attentive. I wish they still had a charcuterie board on the menu, but we all enjoyed our food.
Nice great friends good martini
Great place, great meal!
The best item on the menu, time and time again is the braised short ribs. We tried the prime rib and it was good, but recommended against the end cut. While super flavorful, the end cut was variously dry or chewy. As you would expect with an excellent restaurant they swapped it out for two fresh plates with center cuts.
If they have the butter cake for dessert, it is a must have. There are few desserts that can compare.
A great evening celebrating some family milestones! Wonderful service and quality food as we’ve come to expect at Paul Martins!
Excellent food, eclectic menu, great service and ambiance! A must go.
The food was overcooked and the wait staff was burdened by having too many tabled to service. Service was very slow.
Great service during Happy Hour and a good happy hour menu too! I would recommend the fried chicken as it's delicious and enough to take home for another meal. Good wine menu too.
The service was fantastic. Janae was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. We ate on the patio and it was beautiful. The food was delicious and large portions. We got the short ribs and fried chicken (they brought 5 pieces of chicken!) and the deviled eggs appetizer. The deviled eggs were just ok, but the rest was amazing. The raspberry martini was on point! We will be back.
Server was fantastic with no time pressure. Food selection was very good we do miss the h/h food menu and entertainment.
Had the halibut.....it was fabulous. And the butter cake.... won't pass it up....ever.
French dip well done, not hot. We asked for rare or medium and should have been told it was all well done. We would have ordered fish tacos. This is 2nd meal I have been disappointed in. Easter brunch was terrible. Crab benedict cold, had to ask for coffee twice. I'm rethinking future meals at Paul Martin's. Just FYI, I have never had a bad dinner there, so maybe that's the key for me. Only dinner!!
Food was delicious. Caesar Salad was one of the best I have ever had. Braised Ribs were amazing. Mashed potatoes were mediocre but the Ribs made up for it. Staff was excellent. I will definitely go back.
Food was fine, nothing great. Overpriced for what you get. Beer list is unimpressive.
Great food and a very kind waitstaff. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
We had a delightful brunch after church. Our reservations were honored on time, the food was delicious and our server was knowledgeable and delightful.
Celebrated birthday party. Beautiful place, very quiet, excellent service. Food is delicious.
The chicken dish I got was super dry. Also the asparagus that came with the halibut was overly Lemony. Besides that the service was the best part.
We drove to my daughters dance performance in Roseville from the East Bay. Service was amazing. Food was equally good
The food is not as good as it used to be. Everything else is great.
Good restaurant with nice atmosphere. The menu is not huge but the selections were good.
Disappointing brick chicken was quite dry.
Service was slow, perhaps because they were quite busy.
Indoor spacing for social distancing is not good. Long bar table has chairs for full seating and booths are back to back and side by side.
After waiting over 2 hours our waitress did not return to take our dinner order so we didn't eat.
After serving our wine, she did not check back to take our order and eventually a hostess took the menus.
It was a horrible non-dining experience.
This is one of the best restaurants in the area. Food is always excellent and the service is great. We sat out on the front patio and enjoyed a very tasty flatbread with crab, pesto and apples. Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable meal.
Celebrating a friend’s birthday after not eating out for over a year due to Covid! Sat outside & everything was great!!
I chose this restaurant for my husbands birthday. He really enjoyed it . I think this will be a tradition from now on.
Absolutely fantastic. And our server, Tori, was wonderful.
