The prime rib special was amazing. We really enjoyed the entire meal!
I love Paul Martins. This time not so much. Fries were cold and over cooked. I had a French dip and ran out of broth about half way through. For 21 bucks it was just okay.
My wife and I love this restaurant. It serves high quality food. The service is great and it's nice enough for special occasions. We go here often for anniversaries or birthdays.
We had a great meal at Paul Martins. Our waiter Matthew was outstanding- truly made the evening special. Can’t wait to go back.
I would not go back again, my dining companion and I did not feel welcome.
The Salmon lunch special is always my favorite! Service is always great!
Service was slow food was good yet skimpy portions I’d go back hoping for better service
Paul Martin’s is always delicious. The cocktails are yummy! I had the steakhouse cobb salad for the first time and it was one of the best salads I have had.
Excellent experience as always! Love Paul Martin’s
Definitely a favorite. We need to try their new Sacramento location
Thank you, Sue!
Average service at best- med/well steak uNader cooked- sent back and took forever!
We went for lunch and had a salad, seared prime rib and chocolate cake each. All was on point and tasted delicious.
Since it was a Tuesday at 1 pm, everything was very quiet, just one in four tables occupied more or less. Noise level was great as a result. However, probably because of that, it also usually took longer to see our waiter around.
All in all, we definitely recommend this place and we will come back.
Everything was fantastic. Would turn down music some to be able to have a conversation without yelling back and forth.
As always good service, good foot and over priced wine.
We went for the Prime Rib special. All 3 courses were excellent. Definitely want to back again before they discontinue it. Our server was excellent. I wish I could remember his name. He definitely enhanced our dining experience.
We went to Paul Martin's as a special place to celebrate 2 birthdays. We weren't disappointed. We had a 6:00 reservation for a party of 6, but due to a late soccer game had to push back our reservation on a Saturday, and they willingly accommodated us. The food was great, and our server Quentin made it a fun and happy experience.
Love love love this place! Thank you for not enforcing those deadly masks!
Really enjoyed dining on the shaded patio. Very comfortable and pleasant. Service was exceptional and friendly. The calamari appetizer was delicious. The St. Louis ribs were fall off the bone tender and juicy. The halibut special was excellent as well.
It was our first visit and we were celebrating a birthday. Beautiful place, excellent service, a bit pricey but it was a special occasion. Very noisy & it was hard to hear across our round table. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it.
would recommend and definitely will go back there
I really like the restaurant but last night the food was not all that great. There was five of us and three of us were unhappy with the quality.
For my 65th birthday - had the mushroom soup as appetizer and it was AHmazing! Always get the PM Deviled Eggs- they are Sooo good:. Who can resist Candied Bacon?! On to their Cedar Plank Salmon; was so moist and flaver filled, on top of sub'd Roasted Cauliflower. Delish!! Hubs had Blackened Halibut. He was convinced he'd never had Halibut before (he has) because it was "mindblowingly good!". And dessert was their Butter Cake. Oh gawd - fabulous!!!
Thank you, Paul Martin's, you never disappoint and this is why I always return!
The halibut special of the day was excellent. Our server was very pleasant and responsive. A very enjoyable dinner!
As a server JJ does not disappoint. Excellent service! Tonight's prime rib was a bit of a let down. We had been here last week and the prime rib was excellent, this week however, we were disappointed. It lacked flavor, not at all like the well seasoned offerings last week. Please, let's be consistent. We're in here at least once or twice a week.
I’m a fan of this place but had a mediocre experience yesterday …calamari was over cooked. Asian salad was ordinary. The burger was excellent but the bun was very dry. French dips were very good. Overall, just okay. But I will be back. Sometimes life is just “okay”. :)
Waitress was prompt, courteous and friendly. Very attentive to the details and kept us feeling like we were her only customers at the time. Excellent service!
A halibut was awesome! Also cocktail French 75 is my favorite one!
Took our family to brunch for my sons 25 th birthday. Everything was fantastic!
The quality of food was not worth the high end grill pricing. My $10 house salad was not fresh I had to pick out many browned lettuce leaves. $40 al a carte halibut was overcooked dry. The beurre blanc sauce was very bland. The dinner salad steak was overcooked and was soggy. The deviled eggs were almost good. In theory, the bacon should have complimented the egg, but the sweetness of the bacon didn't coordinate well with the egg mixture. The seven layer cake was dry even with the raspberry drizzle. The wine menu was good, but the markup was high for familiar bottles. Overall, the menu is uninspired. It just wasn't worth the $240 meal for two at a grill/bar.
The service, however, was good. Staff was quick courteous and helpful so we still tipped well.
Server was delightful. Highpoint of the expereince. Prime rib chewy and not cold but not warm. Dipped in hot au jus warmed it up. I have had better...
Our server; Kaleen B. never disappoints. Food was excellent as usual. A little louder than normal as there was a large party celebrating something.
Good menu selections and decent wine list. The service was very good but my key takeaway was that this overall dining experience was VERY overpriced. I likely will not return for this reason nor would I recommend it.
The ambience and service were great. We all ordered the same dish, the halibut special. My wife's halibut was way overcooked and was extremely dry.
Their pricing has gotten out of control - $40 for the halibut. $251 plus gratuity for four entrees. Paul Martin's does not offer the dining experience to command this level of pricing.
Great place for family or a business meeting
Typically we have a wonderful experience, but that was not the case this time. The service was slow, took 20 minutes to get our drinks and we had to ask our server if we could order food. Then half the meals at our table our were prepared incorrectly and by the time our food came everyone had already finished eating. Then to top it off our shrimp tacos were served with the tails still on the shrimp! Left extremely disappointed considering this is not the level of service we are used to here.
Enjoyed Paul Martin's very much. Plan to return.
If you want a hamburger with a regular fries and a nice atmosphere or a cedar plank salmon with a Caesar salad both will be equally executed in the most professional way at this organization. If this seems to fit the bill I would encourage you to get his place a try.
We went for the Prime Rib Prix Fixe dinner special for our anniversary. The prime rib was awful. It was so tough it was inedible. They even brought me another one and it was the same. Prime rib should melt in your mouth, this was just a terrible cut of meat, hence the price, you get what you paid for. The mashed potatoes and salad were great. Our service was incredible! We had Hannah and she made it right for us, she went above and beyond. I would say go but don’t order the prime rib special, order something else!
The BBQ pork ribs should be taken off the menu. It was the worst BBQ I’ve ever had in my life.
