   We started at the bar with drinks and enjoyed talking to Johnny while he mixed up delicious drinks. We decided to eat at the bar. We ordered several starters. We didn’t care for the Bread Service ( sourdough was the only bread). Our party of 4 each ordered a different entree and everyone was very pleased. I had an amazing Black Grouper with Shrimp and Grits. Very flavorful and a little spicy. A dish I will crave. The menu is creative and changes regularly- I love having new choices every visit.

   We had beef short rib and grouper/shrimp and grits, both excellent. Limited wines by the glass, but a good Bordeaux and sparkling Rose.

   What a gem of a restaurant!!! The setting, food and service were amazing! Our waitress, Genesis, was was very attentive and made our experience very special. Excellent meal and great spot to celebrate special occasions!

   It was a bad night for an excellent restaurant. They did not plan and organize service for an evening that depended on getting food ordered and delivered timely so that participants attending the special concert on site could finish their meals before departing. As usual the food was excellent.

   We were treated rudely, the service was horrible making us late for our entertainment at the Hotel Hartness. Our reservations were 1 hr 45 min before the event, yet service was so poor that we had to leave before our meal was served. Our concerns were rudely dismissed when we brought this to the attention of the restaurant manager. The evening was topped off by our witnessing the manager rudely dismissing another group of customers concerns. We will never return and will never recommend Patterson Kithchen & Bar.

   Hi Holli, I wanted to be the first to send my sincerest apology for not only the experience you all had, but more importantly for how I came off in response. I can assure you that my intention is never to come off rude in any way and I failed to do that during your experience. I never want any of our guests to feel the way you did. This review will be used as a tool in helping me as a manager and as a way to grow in all areas of the restaurant. My hope is that you will allow us another opportunity to make this bad experience right.
