   North Park’s best kept secret: this fine patisserie serves dinner, transforming the minimalist patisserie decor with tables, white tableclothes, candles, fresh flowers and so forth into a venue for fine dining. And the dining is memorable. My wife and I agree, this was the finest restaurant meal we’ve had since we moved to SD four years ago. Chef Brad is a gem. Waitstaff is knowledgeable, efficient, friendly, and professional. Don’t be afraid to try anything. Every bite was delicious. Just go and enjoy! Ruth and Ron

   The food was amazing. Apparently it is fairly new and we wish them much success. Really look forward to dining here again when we are back in San Diego. Endive salad was amazing and so was the beef bourguignon.

   Food was overall great but the entrees were a bit salty. The ratatouille was divine. Might want to order the full size instead of the app. Wish there were more than three entree selections but they are classic French - coq a van, boeuf bourguignon and salmon. Everything was tasty if but salty. Could have been a one-off. We tried all three entrees and we all thought they were too salty but great flavors. Will definitely be back. Great place.

   This was our second dinner at Patisserie Melanie and it was as delicious as the first time. The food is just excellent! Although the menu is limited, we have been impressed both times.

   Absolutely incredible experience!! Food and service were both amazing. Limited menu, but the food was top notch! We will be back soon.

    This is a great restaurant but has unfortunately closed for dinner “temporarily.” The bakery/cafe remains open but get there early as it’s so good they will run out of your favorite, croissants, galettes, Kouign-amann.
