Excellent attention to detail, exceptionally fresh food, attentive owner and service staff. We started with a complementary appetizer and were offered additional tomato compote by our observant server. The sea bass is fantastic, well flavored and cooked to perfection. The tuna and salmon were equally wonderful-bright flavors, different sides, beautifully presented. When it looked as if it might rain, we were informed our table would be moved promptly. The owner stopped by twice to check on our satisfaction. I really like this spot as is out of the noise and congestion of Atlantic Ave. All staff wore masks & there is abundant hand sanitizer. Highly recommended.
We had a very good meal. My wife is a vegetarian and they were able to offer up a tasty vegetarian dish that was not on the menu. I had the Tuna entree and it was very good. I highly recommend. My only complaint is that the interior of the restaurant is fairly dated and could use freshening up. Service was very good.
Food and service amazing !
Sea Bass “the best”
This was my first time out to dinner in months and it totally exceeded my expectations. Food, service and atmosphere was exceptional and every precaution was taken for our safety. It is not in a highly traveled area which made me more comfortable and plenty of parking. It is really a hidden gem
We have visited the Patio a number of times. We always feel that we have walked in to a pristine, professional, beautiful restaurant. The owner greets us and has always made us feel welcome in her unique gracious manner. The menu is not huge but every item we have ordered is always delicious. As you can probably tell it is one of our favorite Delray Beach restaurants and that is saying a lot!
Wonderful restaurant with great staff
Birthday dinner and it was great. All good came hot and properly cooked. Service was extremely professional and Lillian was very helpful. Champagne toast on the house was perfect touch and highly recommend. Thank you for memorable meal.
Perfect in every. Always is!
The food was outstanding if a bit pricey. We all ate everything we were served because it was so delish!
First visit and was very pleased. Interesting setting, relaxed atmosphere, staff very helpful, we all enjoyed our food. Wonderfully presented.
The food was absolutely amazing. The menu is unique just like the restaurant and the presentation of each dish was gorgeous. Everything was prepared perfectly.
The food and service were outstanding.
The menu was limiting for families with certain fish and shellfish allergies.
Price is a bit high and would limit Patio Delray from being a go to place for me.
Arguably the best food in Delray and away from the craziness of Atlantic Avenue with plenty of free parking.
The menus are creative and feature interesting and, to me, unusual, ingredients. The service is knowledgeable, friendly and efficient (thank you Kate) and the ambience, perfect. I have eaten here many times, always outside but since it was cold and the heaters were on the fritz, we found the inside felt very different but just as good. Few places can pull off two distinct experiences so well.
Although the prices are relatively high, the portions are generous and the free flatbread reduces the need for an appetizer each. And if it is your birthday, you are in for a treat at the end of the meal.
For your sake, I hope the wasabi crusted seared Bluefin Tuna is still available. Heavenly.
The food was disappointing. We were so excited to celebrate both of our parents 80th birthdays with a special dinner and we were completely dissatisfied. We were a party of 8 and 4 liked their meals and 4 did not. The menu is very limited and the chef will not change his recipes at all to accommodate all palates. I do not recommend this restaurant.
Great place. Easy parking.excellent service. Food was all well prepared. I especially liked the chili oil dumplings. The were prepared perfectly. The atmosphere is as it should be. A convivial rippling throughout the restaurant. My family and I will definitely be returning. It makes dining out a pleasure , not a challenge.
Had a most enjoyable dinner here. Had the option to sit outside near the koi fish tank, but instead dined indoors. Full service bar was a plus. Service was prompt and always with a smile. Anything we needed and asked for was no problem. Don't forget to have the martinis with their stuffed olives, amazing! We opted for a tuna and Chilean sea bass and were not disappointed. You will not be as well. Try it, you'll be happy you did! Found our new "go to" restaurant.
Probably the best blue cheese dressing we have ever encountered. The staff and patrons were all warm and friendly.
The service was exceptional! It was our 30th Wedding Anniversary and the owner brought us a bottle of champagne. The décor on the patio is old and not tastefully done. Inside by the hostess area its littered with dishes, not an appealing entrance. They have a great location, if they can get the housekeeping issues resolved they would be great.
This was truly a unique dining experience for us. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere was absolutely great. We sat outside in the patio area and we felt like we were in a tropical setting. As for the food, both of our meals were outstanding. The sea bas was absolutly fantastic. And the lamb shank became my favorite so far. A dining experience we won't forget. We'll definitely go back again and again when we're in the area.
This is a great date night place the servers made us feel like we were the only table there, they paid attention to every detail and no request we had was a bother to them. Everyone was smiling and truly enjoyed their jobs which made it more enjoyable for us as customers to enjoy our date night! The food and drinks were just as we expected delicious and beautiful, you can really tell everyone there takes pride in the job! Well done to the managers, you have an amazing staff and quality food and drinks also! Bravo to you and a special thanks to Kate for making it an extraordinary night for us!
My boyfriend and I were in desperate need of a wonderful meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Patio Delray delivered all that we needed. We were greeted quickly and shown to our table. The server was knowledgable and suggested a great bottle of wine for us. She knew the menu and made the most delicious recommendations.
We had the most amazing evening & we would definitely go back!
Great food, great atmosphere. Absolute culinary artistry from Lilly the owner. Made many visits here, and this time was no exception, a fantastic meal. From the appetizer, (love the pot stickers), the Chilean Sea Bass for a main course, to desert, the Cream Brule. What more could you ask for from a fine dining experience, consistency! I can rest assure that we'll always have a fantastic dining experience. Would recommend to anyone who appreciates culinary artistry.
Perfect weather for patio dining. Always great food and service.
We had an amazing meal at Patio Delray! The atmosphere was inviting and the service was outstanding! We were greeted the moment we walked in with smiles and professionalism. The Pot Stickers were delicious as well as our man course which was the Chilean Sea Bass and Seafood Newburg Pot Pie! We most definitely will return.
Special dining evening as always at the Patio. Nice welcome, prompt seating in our favorite area outside and very personal server attention to all our desires. Food nicely prepared and served as always. Will return for more. Thanks
What experience? I made reservations at 8:15 and they couldn’t sit us. They overbooked and had multiple people waiting 30-45 minutes past their reservation. Multiple people who were seated complained about the service. It was Valentine’s Day and it was chaos. To top it off, I couldn’t book another reservation at a different restaurant on opentable because of my reservation at patio Delray. Needless to say, I will never go to patio Delray again and will tell everyone who will listen to avoid it like the plague.
They were very overbooked for Valentine's dinner and I believe everything from food to service suffered.
Went on Valentines Day and though the food was good they were understaffed and the fixed price menu did not offer sufficient options.
Went for St Valentines dinner. Priced fixed, which was high, but the food was excellent. Problem was, it took 1:hr. 45 mins. to get our food. Rain caused a problem as outside tables were forced to move inside leaving the later reservations waiting for tables. Very poorly planned as they were not able to handle the situation. Weather forecast was for rain that evening. Will,I go back, I am not sure as I had an aggravating evening.
We were very excited to try this off the beaten path restaurant based on all the excellent reviews it received. It was advertised as a "romantic adults only" Valentine's dinner. It was anything but that. We got to the restaurant for our 6:45 reservation. I was told to sit at any table. Waited at least 7-10 minutes before someone came over. I brought my own bottle of wine. I opened it myself, poured all our glasses myself. And yet they wanted a $50 cork fee. (They ultimately took this charge off). We never really knew who our waiter was. Food took forever to come out. The soup was warm, not hot. My wife's food had no flavor. They gave us "complimentary" pot stickers, but they were still a little frozen on the inside. Not sure how this restaurant got such good reviews. Perhaps they just couldn't manage the holiday crowd. They had a price fixe menu of $88/person, plus 18% gratuity, that they were adding on the cork fee. Thankfully they took that charge off. Maybe if you are from out of town this is a cute, Florida restaurant. But it certainly wasn't romantic, and for the money, I could have gone to Capital Grille and received top-notch service. Nobody ever came over to us. I do not recommend this place.
Restaurant unprepared for V-Day crush. Fixed prices were high, food was ok (a shame, because it’s usually a pretty competent kitchen), servers were inattentive (service included) and numbers, for guest counts, wholly inadequate. Busboys were clueless. A complete waste of money, especially when the occasion was special. One of the poorer restaurant experiences I’ve had in years.
We had reservations for Valentine’s Day. We arrived promptly at 6:30. All started well with friendly server and drinks right away. After that all went down hill. Between 6:30 and 8pm all we were served was bread and salad. Then it started raining and the patio had a lot of leaks. Because of the excessive time and the rain we opted to leave before our main course arrived. They were really apologetic and comped us the drinks. Even though it was a set menu it appears they were not ready to handle the crowd.
Valentine’s Day fixed price menu.
Wonderful for foodies, couples or small parties. Lovely wine list that is reasonably priced and extensive bar. The menu is eclectic and flavors are robust. Service is unparalleled and they have taken steps (acoustic tiles on ceiling inside) to assure that conversation is easy. It is a little off the beaten path and "shabby chic" in design, but don't let that fool you. It has all that a very high end cosmopolitan restaurant has without gouging your wallet. Excellent.
We arrived from the airport, tired and it was a lovely atmosphere on the patio
Excellent meal! Great food!
Food was excellent but service was slow. I had the tuna and my wife had the pork medallions. We were both happy with the dinners. The setting is beautiful. We sat on the patio and really enjoyed the time spent while waiting for our dinner. We both felt it was a little pricey. I would try again.
