Patio Delray Ratings and Reviews
We went for a family get together evening out. The food was very unusual and so delicious. There was something for everyone and a nice variety. The atmosphere was very comfortable and relaxing. Service was very good and our waiter was quite knowledgeable on the menu.
We were very pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back again.
First timer at this restaurant. It was exactly what we hoped for. The food was outstanding. It was plentiful, hot and delicious. Great ambiance, and the service was excellent. The owner walked around and spoke with everyone that was dining there. A full bar menu and the menu itself was extensive. Can’t wait to go back.
Been here a few times and each time we've had great food and service. There are plenty of fish, seafood, meat or pasta options that all sound delicious. I had a pork special that had coconut rice and chine broccoli (kind of like bok choy). My husband had seafood chioppino and it was excellent. One of our friends had the chicken dish, but her veggies were "not good". The service is very attentive. The atmosphere is very Caribbean but finer dining.
Perfect restaurant to celebrate a birthday- not that you need a reason to eat at this fabulous restaurant. Lily, the owner, takes personal care of everyone. The ambience is amazing, as is the food. All 4 of us loved the food. Spectacular delicious flavors.
The seared tuna, sea bass, pork tenderloin and fish and chips
Were delicious. We tasted each other's and we're blown away.
Every bite was a taste explosion in our mouths. We have eaten at most top restaurants from West Palm Beach to Miami -- Patio
Delray is up there with the best. The sauces were sensational-
Lilly does her magic - in fact we asked if we could buy some to
Patio Delray has earned our business- we will be back with all
Our friends and family.
Patio Delray is a lovely find far enough away hustle and bustle of Atlantic in Delray Beach. Miss Lily provides fabulous service and the food is on point. Everything we ate was delicious. Very reasonably priced for a nice dinner. Chilean Sea Bass with Snow crab claws and rock shrimp was the evening's special. It came beautiful plated and a large portion for $38. From drinks, to appetizers, to mains, to desserts, every meal was cooked and seasoned to perfection. To top off an already lovely evening, Miss Lily brought a bottle of sparkling wine for table. It was the perfect evening for my mom's birthday. Thank you. We will be back.
Amazing dinner. The owner and the waitress were very calm, personable and attentive. The food was presentable, flavorful, and very delicious. It's off the beaten path and has plenty of parking. Great ambience. I'd recommend anyone to go. We will be going back.
First time here. Came for my birthday. Food was excellent.........when we finally got it! :-(
We sat for over an hour and a half...........waiting for our dinner. ......watching all the other diners who came after us receive and finish their dinner while we sat waiting. He ordered a chicken and pasta dish, I ordered a seafood cippino, neither of which take any time to prepare. The server apologized after an hour and a half and said it would be out shortly. I asked to speak to the owner. When she came over, she was explaining that she was down one chef who was out sick. I said that didn't explain why everyone else was served their dinner and we weren't. Why must we always be lied to????????? WHY CAN'T OWNER'S OWN UP TO AN ERROR THAT HAPPENED IN THE KITCHEN? Accidents happen. Just own up to it. Don't make up stories. I'm not stupid. Maybe the ticket got lost or overlooked. It happens. Don't tell me stories. It really aggravates me. She finally offered us tea and a desert to share for my birthday as compensation.
Went there for our anniversary. Were greeted and felt welcomed. We each had one of the specials - pork tenderloin and sea bass - both came well presented and tasted even better. All the side dishes were excellent too. Service was excellent. We even were treated to a glass of champagne to celebrate. Overall a wonderful evening.
Third time we'd been here -- this time, brought neighbor/friends who'd never been here before. The menu was a bit less "exotic" than in times past, but there were still enough creative / exotic items on the menu (along with things like roast chicken, which one of our friends zoomed in on) so there were choices to make for each of us. It was too hot and humid to be out on the patio, alas, so we dined indoors (first time for us! we'd always been on the patio before) -- and guess what? The ambience was fine even indoors (especially since there were news of the garden from all sides of the dining room). Well, I admit the patio is a little bit better ... but only if weather permits!!!!!
While the food was okay, but I think the menu is too sparse and the prices a bit steep for what you get. My dining partners could not find a main course they liked and so ordered hamburgers $19!!! Yes they were on the large size but c'mon, $19 for a burger and fries? I had the crab cake that was just so-so and smothered in a too creamy corn succotash.
The salads were fine and my pot stickers excellent.
Food was great, pretty atmosphere. Service and food was well timed. We had for apps
Calamari and potstickers were excellent. Main course sirloin special and lobster thermodore. I don't know how we made room for dessert a brownie with white chocolate chips and it was delicious. Will definetly be back. Loved the coy pond.
The moment you walk in to Patio Delray, you feel like you are in a lush cool garden. The cocktails are creative and excellent. Meal timing is flawless, and everything is delicious.
The sea bass entree special was the best I've ever had. I took my Dad there for dinner - he loved the lobster thermador (which is rare to find on a menu anywhere.)
This is a nice quiet place well off the beaten tourist path in Delray Beach. Food is good but it does not stand out as "memorable" in taste. Service is efficient and timely. Its outdoor patio area is verdant and would be especially attractive to those who don't live every day with our warm weather and year round tropical greenery! Crab cakes are actually made of CRAB, thank you! Tuna tartare appetizer was nicely presented and tasty.
Recommended for those who don't want to brave the Atlantic Ave crowds.
over priced bar and food. excellent waiter service-ask for Jason. Food was tasteless! We went for Mother's Day and will not return! When I complained that the food had no taste, the proprietor, Ms. Lily, blamed the waiter for not bringing out spices and sauces. Very degrading! She took no responsibility for her kitchen's lack of tasteful cooking! We ordered the 2 most expensive meals on the menu and were certainly disappointed. She resentfully took $25 off the overpriced bill, which didn't even cover the cost of 2 drinks or 1 meal!!! I do not recommend this place.
Food was very good. My wife and I both had lobster thermidor and it was delicious. That is a dish that you cannot get very often. It was done a little differently than what I was used to getting from South Jersey but very good. It came with a twice baked potato that was pretty good but a little over cooked and vegetables that were nice and firm and had good flavor.
Service was average. Server was very knowledgeable about the dishes and explained in detail. However his outfit (clothes) were somewhat dirty with food stains. Kind of a turn off.
We are beer drinkers and were a little disappointed with the selections they had.
After dinner we had to wait about 10 minutes before someone cleared our plates, a definite turn off.
But the kicker was this - They have a cat on the premises that is theirs. After we finished eating we saw the cat walking on the tables. Tables with clean plates and silverware. The cat was walking on the plates, plates that people were going to be eating on. Just disgusting. I mentioned it to the wait staff and they did not seem too concerned. They really didn't seem to care. Obviously it happens all the time. That cat is in the outside dining area all the time. He also sits in the chairs that diners have to sit in.
Because of that we will never go back even though the food was very good.
I'm sure this place is lovely just for regular dining, but Mothers Day brunch was total chaos.
The manager crammed way too many people in the small dining room and there was actual traffic jams inside the restaurant every time you needed to get up to go to the buffet. The servers were very kind and professional and did their best to keep up with the crazy amount of volume, Vanessa totally redeemed the experience for us as she was so great with our kid. The food was OK for the money. $68/person is steep for a place that stresses you out.
And I'm sorry-- the kids options were weak. $28 for 7 Tyson Dinosaur Chicken nuggets and nothing else on the plate?? I don't think so. Might want to rethink brunch next year... Sorry.
