Entrees had great favor and good selection. We had first course of caprice salad which was not exceptional however brussel sprouts were wonderful. Our entrees were lamb, shrimp and grits, and trout, all wonderful. Not impressed with our dessert choices. They were out of our first choice of wine and dessert. Issue with bill dealing with wine charge. Waiter recommended wine and said it cost less than what we wanted but when bill came charge was more than menu price. Took 3 tries to get it right. Would have been nice if manager had spoken to us. Could have better customer service.

This was our first time at this restaurant and we were very impressed with the service and with the quality of the food. The menu was very creative, and the dishes were absolutely delicious.

We had a wonderful dinner at Patina. The duck breast, osso bucco, and smoked ribeye were all excellent. Everything we ordered was wonderful. This is a great dinner option in the Richmond area if you don't want to fight for parking in the fan or downtown.

The watermelon mojito was one of the best drinks that I have ever had - so light and refreshing! All of the food we ate was delicious! But, the value was poor. My seared duck breast entree was $26 and all I received was 2 small medallions. Where was the rest of the meal??

We had a very nice dinner at the end of a work week. The flavors were well balanced and the food portions were perfect. Will definitely go back. We did catch a significant error on our tab, so check the math.

Had not been there in a long time. Excellent attention and service. Asked for a large booth and was greeted with a positive reply to my request. Steak too rare but owner brought out a completely new steak that was perfect.
Loved our time there. Definitely recommend.

It was really quiet- missing a "vibe" on a Saturday night. They were having trouble with the music and when they got it working it was rock n roll. I was thinking more jazz music. The food was fabulous and our service was great. Interesting the waitresses were wearing gym shoes - seemed like with the prices it would be a little more upscale.

We had a lovely meal for the most part. Nine dollars for a very small salad was over priced. Entrees were very good and portion reasonable. We will definitely go back but would avoid the salad.

Wow.! We had never heard of this restaurant before but tried it due to an Open Table gift card. We sat outside on the well appointed porch because the weather was very nice. It was happy hour and so we ordered drinks were were nicely priced. We had the flatbread appetizer which very tasty and just the right size if you are ordering dinner. My wife had the osso bucco and shared some with me. We both agreed that it was excellent. I had the rockfish which was also excellent. The service was very good and so Iwould that that the all around experience is just what you hope for when dining out.

We always enjoy dining here. I especially like that food is served hot when it arrives at the table. The chef is very talented , and other staff are wonderful too. We enjoyed our waitress, Cat. Will return for sure!

Excellent food and presentation. Wide food selection and bar selections. The bar even went out of its way to make an uncommon (in Us) mixed drink for us. Will recommend to friends and family. Definitely will frequent Patini. Service was a little slow which is the reason for only a 4 rating.

My wife had the wild boar ragout over home made pasta and I had the osso buco. Quite a treat. Best meal we have had there in a long time.

If it were not for the amateur service this place might be okay. The wait staff seems unexperienced or perhaps just untrained on how to open a bottle of wine. Slow service, and not much of it. The lack of professionalism made us decide to try somewhere else. The charcuterie & cheese was very nicely presented. The wine selection is lacking. Maybe I will try again, but there are better restaurants in the area if you ask me.

The food was great. The people were very nice. My only complaint was how the bill was handled when their system went down. We had to wait an extra 40 minutes to pay due to their system issues. This was a bit frustrating. I will not let it deter me from going back as I really enjoyed the food/ambiance. I guess they should come up with a back-up plan for system issues.

They have a small but amazingly diverse menu. Portions were nicely sized and presented well. They had a dessert that came with homemade ice cream that was awesome. The sound level was low and we had a nice quiet evening.

My husband and I went to Patina for our anniversary. We had not been in years, and had heard that it had changed ownership. We had a fantastic meal, perfect service -just lovely. And, for those of us in the West End, it is so convenient. The quality of a fancy Fan restaurant with much better parking!

Local neighborhood gem! Intimate bar area with really good bartenders. Decent wine list with solid pairings. Very knowledgeable wait staff and everyone is friendly. This was Valentine's Day and dinner was very slow to come out. That said, nearly every table was full and they were working hard to keep up! I'd go back!

The new owners make customers feel special! We went on Valentine's and each female guest received a rose upon arrival. The food was very flavorful. The menu is diverse allowing something for everyone. Good wine and mixed drink selection. We sat in the booth, so our dinner was intimate. Nice to support a local restaurant and not a chain.
