   Our experience at Pat and Betty was nothing short of exceptional from the moment we stepped inside. Contrary to some past reviews that suggest discrimination, we felt absolutely welcome and treated with respect throughout our visit. Our server, Anu, was exceptional, and she made sure we had a wonderful time. The food at Pat and Betty was simply incredible. It’s the best restaurant we’ve been to in Calgary, and we’ve only arrived Friday from Florida. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Choice Oysters, Yellowfin Tuna, Foie Gras, Savoy Cabbage, Cauliflower, Pork Belly, and Scallops (which they proudly claim as their signature dish) and the Alberta Chicken. Every dish was absolutely delicious and flavorful. I couldn’t find a single thing that was bad.

   It was marvellous! Very good food. Each dish had a unique flavour and tasted fresh. Will definitely be back.

   Amazing service! Amazing ambience! Amazing drinks !! Came here for a date. . If you don’t try the scallops and pork belly .. you’re dumb. Great date night place. I’m 43 felt included . Lol.

   Came here for a work dinner and absolutely loved it. Had the marinated olives, beef tartare, savoy salad, mafaldine and salmon, and every bite was delicious. The service was warm and attentive, and they offered to store our travel bags. The indoor/outdoor table was a bit tight for 3 people, but we enjoyed our meal in spite of it. Will be back!

   It was our first time at Pat and Betty. Having heard good things, we were definitely not disappointed. We met with out-of-town friends and had a truly lovely dinner. The food is superb. The service was excellent and the kitchen was able to accommodate a food allergy in our party without in any way distracting from the terrific taste experience. The restaurant is quite loud, however, which can make conversation a bit difficult, especially for anyone with hearing issues. Still, wonderful overall experience. We we certainly go there again.

   The music was loud and made it tough to hear the server explaining the menu. Pasta was a little under done. Too el dente. Chicken was also a little tough to cut. At times, I was trying to get the attention of the staff but music and other people were talking loudly, that they couldn't hear me.

   Had a fantastic meal. Had the anchovy toast, cauliflower, pork belly & scallops (were unbelievable) and rigatoni. All dishes were stellar! Definitely going back.

    This is the by far my worst dining experience in my whole life because of the racial discrimination that we experienced. It was April 12th at 6:15pm, snowy evening, me and friend dined in here, to give you a better description-we were Filipinos, I have a brown complexion and my friend has the Chinese look (because she really is a Chinese). I honestly don’t find it necessary to describe how we looked but that’s how this restaurant made us feel. Discriminated by our colour, profiled from head to toe. We got in there earlier than 6:15pm, standing at the door as we waited to be assisted. We were there for 3-5 minutes, one of the servers who’s talking to another server looked at us, so I thought she would go to us, I was wrong. We waited for a couple minutes (take note we were waiting there like an idiot as if we do not have a reservation also please note we are the only ones waiting there). Finally a tall white skinny and blonde guy came to us, directed us to our seats already. We weren’t even completely seated yet and he started saying these words “There’s a reservation at 8 pm here” - I was like “sorry?” And he said “standard seating time 2 hours”. Okay first you made us wait then now you’re telling it from the get-go we can stay longer. First and foremost, we know that. We’ve travelled the world already and exactly know that. They treated us like ignorants. I didn’t know that I will be treated like this ever, just because we are not “white/western” come on. We speak fluent English and waited patiently for them. So finally, when we’re about to order they made us wait for another 15-20 minutes to give our order, we were even contemplating to get out of the restaurant. I chose this restaurant because of a great reviews, to celebrate my friend’s birthday. They do have very poor service, passing us by getting our plates (not even completely emptied yet) without asking us. No communication. Excuse me, we speak English and we can understand it. I will never go back here.
