Good birthday dinner with cake that had flames spouting out.
I can see why this place was voted best brunch on Staten Island. I went for Saturday morning brunch on the recommendation of a coworker. So happy I did. It's a great place for brunch!!! $25 pp one complimentary drink, starters of fresh fruit and pastries, unlimited coffee and a great menu with many different choices for brunch. Will definitely be back with family and friends.
My wife and I went to brunch with some friends since it's a short walk from where we live. It was my first time there. Food was delicious though be aware it is a small place so it can feel a little crowded. As such the food orders took a little while to get there. The atmosphere is likely intended to be one where people want to take their time chatting, dining on bread and fruit (which is delicious and fresh since they're a bakery too), before their meal comes (I personally like to get in and out so that's on me) so I can understand why they took their time. Wasn't bad service, I just wish it would be snappier. As far as the brunch itself, food was amazing, and while it wasn't bottomless (you get one complimentary glass of champagne/mimosa - extras are around $6-7 at the time we went) it was still very enjoyable and super filling. We left stuffed! Overall good experience. 4/5.
I enjoy this place. You probably would too
Not like it used to be. Food changed and so did service.
The brunch menu was excellent! A delicious meal! And the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. A great way to start the morning.
Graduation late lunch
Food was better than expected. We really enjoyed it and will be back.
Thoroughly enjoyed sharing an antipasti salada. The bread and dipping sauce were delicious. The dessert of cream puffs and ice cream were a perfect ending. The service and cocktails are inconsistent. Although not poor both could use some attention.
Service was great, food quality was amazing, and the price was right.
We came here after a 10k race on a Sunday. We were 7 people and they were super accommodating. We were even running a little late and they held the table for us. Gave me a cappuccino with a heart design in the foam upon walking in !! What more can I say!! This place is the best for brunch & anything really !!
Very good food, service and atmosphere. Good portions on apps as well as main courses. Great menu variety.
I would do it again if i were given the chance. Kewl beans
Pleasant and above average restaurant for Staten Island. There is a wide and varied selection available, and a creative cocktail menu. The service was attentive and pleasant. I hate crowds and noise so I tend to go on the early side for dinner and late for lunch.
Had an omelette for brunch. Delicious.
My husband and I enjoyed a lovely lunch on a Sunday -the granola and yogurt and fruit were delicious -my husband had a very large breakfast with quite a few items -I ate his pancakes which were so fluffy and good with whipped cream !
We went for Sunday brunch the food was awesome, our waiter was really nice but the service was kindve slow... it was pretty busy in there. Def would go back.
Always enjoy food great service staff very attentive and friendly my favorite place to eat had many occasions there everything thing was great
We dined on New Year's Eve and enjoyed the food! Waiter was very friendly, food was great. Pizza was a little too salty which was surprising, otherwise a good experience. Will return.
Best brunch on Staten Island, hands down
Excellent Italian restaurant close to the JFK airport
The server we had Friday evening 12/17 (by the tables near the pastries) was outstanding. I have an array of food allergies and he worked diligently to ensure I had a pleasant dinner experience! He also made suggestions such as the red sangria -which is delicious -that i would have forgotten to order. Very appreciated!
We were a party of 9, 8 adults and 1 baby that attended Bruno’s for brunch. THE BEST brunch on Staten Island. Every food item was delicious, and the waiter was attentive!
Eating at Bruno's is always a pleasant experience. The food is good and the service is great.
Food was excellent and so was service!! Brought my parents here to celebrate there 45th Anniversary they are from Brooklyn and usually only eat at certain places well they were more than happy with the food they will come again!!!
I could not have been more impressed with our brunch at Bruno's. We came here for my mom's birthday and had an absolutely wonderful time. The food was outstanding, the portion sizes were huge (or at least it felt that way after all of the yummy pastries and fruit!), everything came out hot & in a timely fashion, the eggs on everyone's plates were cooked absolutely PERFECT and the cappuccino was amazing. The service was friendly & polite and we even bought some pastries to enjoy at home. I cannot believe it's taken us so long to try this place, but I know we'll definitely be back!
Food was well prepared but nothing special. Expensive for what it was. I'd come for the bakery not the dinner. Service was friendly but incompetent and excruciatingly slow. Appetizer dishes were not bussed through dessert. After a long wait three meals of six were delivered, another long wait and one more meal came. Finally the last two were delivered. We had to track down the waiter every time we needed anything. We had similar experiences in the past. We won't be back.
Good food, good service and great pastry.
Bruno's always has such delicious house made pasta dish options. The plates are huge and very worth the value! Delicious food and nice staff. And save room for dessert! Their desserts and coffees are delicious!
The food, the service, the ambience-all spectacular!!
Service was OK
