   It was my first time there and the last. The hostess offered complimentary champagne but never brought it. We asked the server about it and he said he would bring it and never did, so we had to ask again when he brought our food. The Cacio de Pepe was drowning in a cream sauce, which it shouldn’t be, and the tiramisu has so much cinnamon it was inedible. No one checked on us after bringing the food, so we had to go into the restaurant to request pepper (we sat on the patio). I ended up picking up food on the way home. The patio seating was nice, but not worth the food and service quality issues.

   We are never disappointed eating here! The service was phenomenal. We were celebrating my dad’s birthday and they had a surprise waiting at the table already for him. The food was delicious! We had to go for seconds. The patio view of the boardwalk was a cherry on top. Thank you for making the birthday so special!

   Our server was nice enough but he wasn't the brightest bulb in the pack. Bread and olive oil are complimentary when seated, there is an appetizer on the menu with bread (yes, same bread) but with whipped ricotta. I asked John (server) if it was possible to get a side of the ricotta to accompany the fore amentioned bread and he looked at me like a dear in headlights and said "well I can order the appetizer for you". I explained that me and my sister wouldn't have a need for two loaves of bread, but would like to add the ricotta (if it was extra we didn't mind paying) he said he would "try". Really?!??! It's a VERY SMALL dish of cheese...why is this rocket science?? Then I said we'd just take the calamari, and this smart guy actually said "oh yes the calamari is way better anyway". Never brought us the ricotta or mentioned it again. Other servers would have been on it with zero problem. Some people are born with it...maybe it's Maybeline...its definitely not John.

   The cacio e Pepe pasta had no pepper in the little bit of sauce. Pasta was overcooked and tasted watery, just like the sauce, which was definitely not cheese. No pepper, no pecorino romano in there. My mother in law had Cobb salad, and barely ate it. Will not go back.

   We have been big fans of this restaurant since it opened. However, we were disappointed with our visit yesterday. First, the menu has changed and several of our favorites are gone and there were no specials or off the menu selections. Second, the portions have changed and my chicken parm was significantly smaller than it used to be. Last, although the wine menu pricing continues to be very reasonable, the menu pricing has also had changed and given the portion reductions the value we used to appreciate is now also gone. The environment and service continue to be very good, but I think we will consider other options going forward when we're in the mood for Italian.

   Good food and nice presentation. Some things not available. Service was trainee level. Not a bad experience but not the best.
