Parkside is a locally owned and operated Downtown Raleigh Restaurant located at the entrance of the Warehouse District. Parkside is situated on the corner of West Martin and South Dawson streets across from historic Nash Square. It was this urban park, one of the four original parks in downtown that inspired the name Parkside.

Housed at street level and under the longest running neon restaurant sign in North Carolina you will find our doors, which have been the threshold to hospitality for this neighborhood for over one hundred years. Parkside believes in continuing this tradition in every way. From the warm red brick and reclaimed barn wood clad bar to the NC solid poplar tabletops, we want our guests to feel welcome. Service was very good and attentive The vibe is fun and youthful and open The hummus plate and deviled eggs and signature drinks were delish! The large plates however served the proteins waaaaaay overcooked (meatloaf and Salisbury steak) that made them almost inedible and the appetizer wings were fried super hard…

Food was very good, service was a little iffy…had no silver ware for six people once the appetizers came out. Waiter got triple sat…would go back when it’s early dinner hour

The table was dirty and both our menus were stained. We stayed only because we were going to see a show otherwise we probably would have gone somewhere else. Then what we assumed happened, our food was not good, shrimp and grits was over sauced (soup) and everything was luke warm.

Food was mediocre and was more expensive than normal. If you are going to charge high quality prices then the food quality should match. Service was good. Atmosphere was also standard. Nothing over the top
