Hands down my absolute favorite bbq pork sandwich.
Really, really loud. Great food, ambivalent service
We were happy to find this restaurant (on OpenTable and in a confusing to find location). The best part about our experience was the food. It came out in short order, was hot, affordable and the portions were HUGE. Everyone was very happy with their dishes. I particularly loved my bacon jalapeno mac & cheese and my husband's burger was delectably juicy. Our dirty plates stayed on table for way too long but the server was otherwise friendly and attentive.
Great food. Good service. A bit loud, but that was expected. Very good overall. Would continue to go back. I’ve already been here many times.
The service was terrible and the server was slow, not timely, didnt clear plates, just awful. Plus it was the moiddle of the day. She needs to go.
I had reservations for 4 and not going back unless I receive a gift card for at least $50.00. I spent $155.00 and we were all very disappointed. Not good...too many other places I can go and get my moneys worth. Plus $14.95 for a blood mary, ridiculous. I'll be at Bub City next time.
The gluten free menu has a lot of great dinner options.
Very fun! We are outside and felt like we were in the city!
Been there many times. Always phenomenal food. Haven’t met an item I didn’t like
I highly recommend the animal tots, they are phenomenal and could definitely be shared among multiple people. There were only two of us and we were quite full after our appetizer of animal tots. For my meal I had a brisket burger, which I would highly recommend. It was very well balanced and had a nice bite. The cheddar chest was of good quality. My mom had the chicken street tacos and the cilantro was overpowering in both the tacos and the beans. The avocado on the taco made for an unpleasant texture, with no crunch to give a break from the soft, mushy texture.
Great food and service but extremely LOUD restaurant! We will be back but maybe not on a Saturday night!
No complaints! Pleasantly surprised.
I have had the barbecue glazed salmon three times now and each time it was delicious. It is served with mashed potatoes and asparagus and is gluten free. It’s awesome when I’m able to go out and have a great meal without allergy affecting me. Great atmosphere, service and good. Highly recommend
Made a reservation but was seated on the 2nd floor outside the bar area in a strange foyer area. Next time I will ask for better seating!
Great pre show dinner at Zanies! Super accommodating to our large group of 9 and great gluten free choices and drink menu! Will def go back next time we are up there!
Good food and atmosphere. Will be going back soon.
It was my birthday dinner. Park tavern is our kinda family place. They are great at service especially with my two granddaughters. Great food and service !!!
This was my fourth time to this restaurant over a few years. Usually it is at least dependably good, but this visit fell short. The server was very timid, hard to understand because he talked quietly and lacked an understanding of the food we ordered/the menu. He was very nice and eager to please, but we had to ask for everything, water , silverware, items that were supposed to be on our plate per the description on the menu (no special orders) and then the bill. My meal fell short for sure--the chicken in the sandwich was very tasty, but very small and the rest of the meal was not good. Disappointed.
Service was great for a very busy saturday night. The brisket was excellent!
My sons favorite restaurant for any celebration!!
Overall great spot to meet some friends and watch sports. Food was good; service was good.
The only problem is it is very loud. Hard to hear over the loud noise.
Otherwise I would recommend
We had a reservation for 6 and we’re comfortably seated immediately when we arrived. Food and service was great and they had some great mocktail options for the pregnant ladies in the group!
Several of us dined for a business lunch. Aside from being difficult to find, the food was very good.
The food was good. The service for food was fine, but the service for drinks was really slow. It was very loud in the restaurant and make conversation at the table a little difficult.
Went for dinner before show at zanies. Caught some NCAA hoops. Great food good booze what more can you ask?
I liked the atmosphere at Park Tavern. The wait staff was awesome. The food was just alright. My friend and I had a sandwich of fried pieces of lobster and shrimp with a type of slaw on top with a side of fries. The seafood pieces were so small that it was hard to tell which meat you were eating. The slaw was yummy and along with the aioli was the reason the sandwich had any taste at all. There wasn't enough slaw. Fries were perfect.
Great place to watch a game and have a drink. Really nice beer selection and menu variety, and quality is good!
Great for a group, but service can be slow since they can be busy.
Large menu makes it easy for anyone to find something. Portions are good size, most where larger than expected.
Perfect place to eat, drink and watch a game. A bar with good food
The food was ok. We arrived at peak of lunch so I guess kitchen was busy. The wait for a wrap and alas was close to thirty minutes.
Barbecue glazed salmon with mashed potatoes was gluten free and delicious! Have ordered it a second time since this one. HIghly recommend.
Food was good service was terrible from our waiter. Never said hello or cared to say anything beyond one sentence. Maybe he was having a bad day. Still would have been nice to receive a simple thank you for coming in after our table spent over 250 and received a 25% tip despite the lack of service. I’d rather spend an extra 50- 75 bucks and go to Gibson’s, Morton’s, or capital grille to receive great service
a little disappointed tried to get a reservation at 3:30 and open table showed only 2:45 or 3:00 available
made the 3:00 time however when we got to the restaurant it was empty with many tables open
guests did not start coming in until after 4:30
We obviously had a reservation, but it took them 15 minutes to seat us. They wanted to put at a table 4 feet front the front door. We asked for a different table and were told that other open tables were for reservations. We reminded them that we had made reservations and were seated.
Server was attentive and friendly. Food was plentiful, but average at best.
There are other close better options.
My first experience at Park Tavern was not that great. We decided to try it again during restaurant week. The menu was appetizing. The food was delicious. The service was slow as it was during my last visit. Overall, I would go back for the food.
Grilled chicken was so dry on my salad that I literally choked on it.
Ordered the veggie breakfast sandwich. It was not very memorable. There is a reason the mimosa are $2.00 during brunch. It’s all OJ not much sparkling wine.
The food was very average. I had a BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger and it was good, the fries that came with, however, were not good. There were fries that were over cooked and on the same plate there were fries that were undercooked. We had cheese curds for an appetizer and those were pretty good. After the tip, the total for 2 of us with no alcohol was $55. I think that’s a bit much for a cheeseburger, chicken club, a coke, and cheese curds. Just an average bar. There’s nothing about this place that screams “come back!”, so we probably won’t if we are in the area again.
Nice decor and upbeat atmosphere. Service was slow to non-existent. Food was alright but not memorable
Server was not very attentive and got our order wrong. The whitefish entree was minuscule, absolutely and totally dissapointing.
Fine overall. The restaurant is very noisy and upper level not open, which could have made experience better.
Park Tavern is one of my favorite places in the Rosemont area. Fun atmosphere, great food!
