My husband & I dined before seeing Hamilton Musical in celebration of our 40 yr wedding anniversary. It was a great choice timely & delicious. Especially enjoyed the Cultural Mile salad very unique and the flatbread pizza was also very good. My husband enjoyed a huge angus burger❤️
Food was pretty good, but the service could have been better. For reasons unknown, it took a long time to get sweetener for my iced tea. I was looking at a dish full of it on a neighboring table, and I should have just gotten up and asked the party there if they could spare a few yellow envelopes..... for that is what the waiter did after I asked a few times for it. The overhead heater was going. Took a bit for someone to figure out how to turn it off. But the food was pretty good.
Wonderful food and service.
Fantastic Burger / Fries
Salads are unique and flavorful.
A great value
Got there 530p and no problem getting outdoor seating, was a beautiful day. We had our adult kids and 2 year old grandson with us, outdoor seating was perfect for both the weather and a small child, would not recommend the quiet indoor seating if you have kids with you. Our waiter was great, made recommendations with his personal experience of having a toddler, much appreciated! Food was good, though Ahi Tuna rub was too salt/spicy, burger was great, roasted cauliflower was excellent. Met our needs perfectly for outdoor dining after day at the Shedd!
The food selections were good, we ended up splitting an entree and had side salad and soup and split a dessert. The food tasted very good. Service was slow and had to ask for mustard three times. The wait staff were friendly but not too attentive.
Food was good. On the edge of Millennium Park and close to Art Institute.
IT WAS A LADY'S DAY IN CHICAGO AND WE HAD AN EXCEPTIONAL WAITRESS, VERY FRIENDLY, HELPFUL AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, VERY EFFICIENT. THE FOOD SELECTIONS WERE GREAT FOR LUNCH, HOWEVER, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THE BASIC SANDWICH SUCH AS TURKEY. TOO DIFFICULT TO EAT COMFORTABLY AND TOO OVER POWERING FOR A SANDWICH. SOMETIMES, LESS IS MORE. ONE OF THE PARTY HAD THE CRAB CAKE AND ABSOLUTELY RAVED ABOUT IT, ANOTHER THE WHITE FISH (HOWEVER COMMENTED TOO MUCH TO EAT FOR LUNCH) AND WAS TAKEN WITH THE PREPARATION AND FLAVOR. SALAD WAS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL DONE, CHOPPING THE LETTUCE IN A MANAGEABLE SIZE MADE IT PLEASURABLE TO EAT AND VERY TASTY. WITHOUT QUESTION ANOTHER FUTURE VISIT IS VIABLE.
We often come here after events at Millennium. Given how crowded it can get, it is amazing how available they are. The outside is much more crowded but given that this was a hot summer day, inside was fine with us. The food is very good and not overly priced. Given the location, this is our go-to place for a drink or dinner.
Live less than 5 minutes away and have eaten here numerous times. VERY disappointed this last visit with server. When an item for which a condiment may typically be desired, server should ask patron and then assure condiment is on table prior to or with food served. On this instance server rushed off before I could ask for mustard to accompany hamburger (not an unusual request), hardly visited table, had food delivered by another employee who also rushed off, and then patron had to ask 3 times before mustard was provided. When server rather ceremoniously finally appeared with the mustard, I was half way through eating the burger. When I commented, served chastised me, saying I should have told her. Better trained servers know to ask, know to check up at table served, and know not to try to place blame on patron for their error. Though a neighbor, and previously quite pleased, Park Grill will be off our list for now.
Nice location but mediocre food, one botched order, and a disappearing waiter.
A very unique location in Millennium Park. IV then there are many times and the food is always different, but excellent, and the services always outstanding.
Good food extremely noisy waitress had too much to do. Should have seated us away from a very noisy couple of tables
Service was terrible. Waiter forgot part of our order. He just disappeared. Food was nothing to write home about.
I especially like the way my salad was cut into tiny pieces. I have difficulty with those salads not cut enough, and this was outstanding.
We had a fantastic meal ... only having booked it several hours before on spect. Absolutely delicious linguine, every mouthful was delicious. Lovely ambiance and really attentive staff. A great find
Nice ambience, good food and service. There seemed always to be a line for the two restrooms, which seemed inadequate for the size of the restaurant.
Dressing not on salad at the time of service! Thus boka noodle dish was without taste. Dressing delivered upon request and then the flavor was good. Veggie Burger was excellent.
The food was actually quite good. We shared an appetizer of quest and Guacamole. Being GF I could eat the guacamole and chips. My main course was whitefish with what appeared to be fresh corn and peas. Very tasty. Two issues: the receptionist said I had skipped my reservation ; I was able to fix it while I was there. The restrooms were very dirty and unappetizing. They must pay more attention to this!
service was good, food was above average. was seated promptly at reservation time.
Waiter didn’t return to the table after food arrived. Also took a long time to bring bill.
The Park Grill is actually great, and I’ve been an occasional customer since they opened. Their location is fantastic, service and food are great.
Waitress had too many tables...service was sporadic. Food was good
The ambiance was very pleasant. The food was quite tasty. However, the service was subpar. A bit of an inconvenience as this was a lunch hour get-together and time was limited. Overall, the total grade of the entire experience was a "B-."
Great deal on Wednesday's for wine bottles. Food is just ok,as well as service
The food was really very good! Service was excellent. We told the waiter we were in a time crunch and he made it happen with a smile.
Once order was taken our server didn't check back. We had to flag down someone else because part of our order was missing.
We had a great meal at the Park Grill. Our party had a cheeseburger, turkey sandwich, and the fried chicken sandwich. All were large and delicious. Enjoyed a great atmosphere as we sat outside listening to the live music while we people-watched. Teresa, our server, was fantastic.
The server was very busy but gave great service.
Nice table outside on a beautiful evening! Good food attentive service and nice wine list.
A fine meal with friends to celebrate a Cubs win. The Amish Chicken was outstanding.
Park grill is a great location for a touristy day in Chicago. The outdoor seating is pleasant, but service typically lacks and the food is average.
Good food but when we ordered dessert it took over 30 minutes to get it to the table and we were late for our next event. Server was nowhere to be found and we were disappointed in the experience overall. She told us dessert was on the house but we were so late we could t even eat it and just paid and left.
Great Burgers! Some of the best in Chicago. The Cheese Curds were also surprising good. Generally wouldn't order these outside of a county fair and did not expect them to be good, but they were light and tasty.
Our waitress was courteous and responsive to our needs. The special birthday cake was especially appreciated.
Wonderful alfresco lunch in an amazing venue. The staff was very attentive and the food was terrific.
Going to Grant Park symphony concert. Can’t beat the location.
Kitchen was extremely slow. Took 30 minutes to get an iced tea. Our waitress did not seem to be the problem. It took way too long to get our food, and when it did get there, we had to wolf it down, because we were seeing a play (we told the waitress about this when we placed the order). Additionally, the bathrooms were out of order, or only one was available for men and women, resulting in a huge line the entire time we were there, making impossible to use.
I was in Chicago for a concert at Millennium Park. Perfect venue to eat before the concert and enjoy the people watching while sitting on their terrace.
Ordered the fish tacos, no flavor, hated them. Other's food was the same. Service was good but the food was not good at all, shame cause we have eaten dinner there a few times and always enjoyed it. Shame cause now I don't know if I can trust going back for dinner in the future.
Always very happy with the Park Grill - very nice and excellent value
