Loved our lunch here. We had 10 diners and the service was excellent. Can’t go wrong with any of their salads
Met a friend for dinner, and we all decided on the steak frites. They were uniformly excellent, quite tender (much more so than in my past experience), and with very good fries. Soups and salads also very good. The noise level was low enough for fairly easy conversation. Recommended
Good spot close to The Bean and Millenium Park. The food was good but not over the top. There should be a few more selections for dessert. Only two single stall bathrooms (unisex) caused a waiting line during my visit. Staff was very friendly and attentive. It was a little dark inside for my taste and not much of a view. Overall good spot for a quick meal if you are attending a function or activity in the park.
I brought a friend to Park Grill and felt that the hospitality extended to us was as though or even better than I brought her into my home. We had a great meal with attentive service. What more could one want?
There was a FLY in my salad. And not the first salad that came out, my first salad came out with cheese all over it- which I had specifically requested without dairy because of an allergy. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
Excellent service and the food was very good.
Disappointed. When Park Grille first opened I remember being very impressed by everything - it has since gone down hill. Our appetizer came out very quickly, which was good except we didn't receive our drinks until after the appetizer was finished. I like to enjoy my wine a bit before the food comes out. The tacos were bland, my husband's steak, ordered Medium, was extremely rare. My son ordered the blood orange sorbet and instead received some other orange flavored sorbet - even the waitress sd didn't you order the blood orange? Then she admitted they must have been out and just substituted the next closest flavor. The bathrooms were incredibly filthy and disgusting. Won't be recommending nor will I be going back --- very expensive meal for the lack luster experience
The place is very conviniently located. We visit it often. This time the servoice needed prompting morw then usual. The food was good and as expected. The noise level was higher than usual, we would prefer a quieter place for conversation. In general - perfect location for before the theater-symphony dining. Reliable food quality. Good ambience.
We had a delightful lunch with a wonderful cocktail at the Park Grille. We sat outside on a beautiful day. I had a wonderful shrimp cocktail and my friend a great salad. Our server could not have been nicer! It is a little pricey, but then it is in pretty perfect location in the city!
This was our first time there and the asparagus and macaroni and cheese sides were the best I’ve ever had! The service was great from the person who set us, our waiter, and to the person who fills the water! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Service was very slow. Waited 45 minutes for one drink meals were served quickly. Asked for coffee and no spoons were available. Prices high and menu limited. Never again!
touristy but nice place
enjoyed the free wine from theater ticket
Soft-shell crab tacos were a-maz-ing. Crabs were perfectly seasoned and crisp and juicy inside. Also enjoyed the calamari appetizer. Had it before, and this was consistent. Crisp, perfectly cooked inside, and deliciously presented. A friend had the crab cake app and ahi tuna main course. Raves all around!
Always a fun lunch in the city destination. Great Bloody Mary’s.
We picked this restaurant because it was relatively close to a concert we were going to later in the evening. The menu looked wonderful, but my pasta and asparagus with white sauce was very salty!! My guests said the burgers were very good . I wish there was a bean burger tho! The salad with the burgers was very small not even a handful of lettuce. Average price for downtown dining but I’ve had better. Our server didn’t have much a personality. The bathroom had only 2 stalls so there was a line the whole time we were there!
Initial service took 15 minutes for acknowledgment and then another 10 for water. Then the club salad was very light on chicken.
Food was okay. Fries were plenty but saturated with salt, burger was okay.
Everything was okay..
Good service, well attentive server. Burger was fine. Noise level was better inside near the bar than closer to the windows or outside. Annoying dance music and was way too loud. Can’t imagine anyone having a decent conversation outside.
Consintent excellent food and service throughout the entire year.
Brought out of town guests and they loved it.
It was Taco Tuesday and we opted for the Two-Handed Fish Tacos on the regular menu for half the usual price. They were really good, with a battered fish (cod?) that was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and soft inside. A small jar of flavorful black beans accompanied the tacos. We chose cheesecake for dessert, which was a good choice.
After seated, waited 15 minutes before waiter appeared. Made up for it by being very attentive. My wife’s dinner was very good (lobster but) my chef’s burger would have been great, but was almost too salty to eat.
Good food but overpriced for value of food due to location. Very touristy spot being in Millennium Park.
Food was very good. Night we were there it was not super crowded and the service was a little spotty.
Server never checked back after meal delivered
Couldn’t order 2nd drink until too late.
Not a dining experience, no recommendations or experience with food or wine. Nice person. Too young.. Food very good though.
Good food, poor service. Also, although the restaurant was not crowded, we were seated in a booth by the window ( very nice) until
a large family with many noisy children was seated at a table right next to our booth. So much for conversation and tranquility.
The French Onion soup was the best I've ever had; highly recommend. The service was superb.
We always have excellent food and outstanding service at Park Grill. Great onion soup, burgers!
The Cheese Curds were fantastic! Perfectly sized menu to give you enough choices for lunch. The service was great and the waiter had a extensive knowledge of the menu and what had recently been added to the menu.
My sister was visiting from Oregon and I had to bring her here to try the Cultural Mile salad. It's my favorite and I return just to have it. All of our other food was very good as was all of the staff. This is a most enjoyable place to eat.
We had a great overall experience. Tony was our waiter and he was personable, knowledgeable and made great recommendations. We had the cheese curds and calamari for apps and both were great. I had a lovely cocktail before dinner and a glass of wine with dinner. I had the Ahi Tuna which was perfectly prepared. We had our kids with us and they offered a child menu but instead my kids split the steak. It came divided evenly for each and I thought that was great. I would definitely recommend this place if you are downtown, great diverse menu, wonderful service.
Great location, good and service. We will go back!
A favorite place to dine.
Shared an excellent veggie burger (perfect if only they served sweet potato fries) and a great chopped salad with avocado to replace the meat. Bottles of wine are half-price on Wednesdays- really nice mid-week meal!
We had a great lunch with attentive and very friendly wait staff!!! Very convenient to the Harris theatre pre-Shen Yun.
The restaurant was empty when we got there. Service could have been a little bit better. Can't believe there wasn't a vegetable or small garden salad included with the special of the day. Refills on water or hot water were not offered. The angel hair shrimp scampi was ok. A lot of pasta & 6 smaller shrimp.
Good food (very good crab cakes), and good service. Not awesome
My wife and I went here before seeing a musical and it was delicious. I had the Chicken Parmesan, and my wife had one of the burgers. The service was fast and friendly, but I was surprised that the restaurant was very quiet and not busy around 5:30 PM on a Friday night, considering its near a huge tourist attraction. Location was great. Wine was amazing. We are coming back to Chicago in June and already have this restaurant planned to eat at again.
