The food was fair; certainly not worth the prices. Our waiter was great, however.
Not a good value for the amount of food. $6 for a small salad with two halves of a cherry tomato. No side dish with my halibut entree at $26. You can change a side that comes with a meal that is pre-set for additional cost.
I won’t return.
Steaks and salmon were really good and service was great. Really like the vegetable tempura.
I took my wife for her birthday to enjoy a great meal. We were not disappointed. The service and the food was excellent!
We order same steak and was was great and good and the other was small, thin and not very good.
Great food, we were seated right away service was excellent. Highly recommend
David was a great server who with a comical personality.
Although the menu was nice, the food was lousy and overpriced. Our server was nice enough, but not as professional as one might expect with the prices on the menu.
The prime rib was tough and cold. The mashed sweet potatoes was a purée that was akin to baby food. The calamari was sloppily presented and tasted rubbery. We had to ask for bread. If we had not asked, I do not believe our server would have offered it. It was cold in the restaurant and we had to ask the server to turn down the ambient music. It was expensive and we felt cheated. Will never go here again.
Battered shrimp was great. Classic Park East salad was fresh (ordered with dressing on the side). Martini was perfect. Service was attentive & friendly. Thank you Ollie 😊
WE HAD A RESERVATION AND HAD TO WAIT OVER 30 MINUTES TO BE SEATED
Even after we placed a reservation still had to wait for 45min. Food was not good at all and just did not impress at all. I will not be coming to this restaurant again.
We've always enjoyed going to Park East, but our last visit was less than satisfying. I asked twice for the anchovies for my salad, and they never came. We had to ask for bread. The halibut was a little overdone, and was served with roasted potatoes that were hard and bland. In any case, roast potatoes with halibut is just wrong. My husband had to ask for a wine list. P.E. used to have excellent waitstaff who were appropriately dressed, and good food. We're wondering what happened. Will maybe try once more to see if this was just a fluke. Right now, I couldn't recommend it to a friend.
No bread ever brought to table. We had to chase a waiter down for salt and pepper. They served a creamed spinach that tasted like it was made with whipping cream and was far too sweet one of the most horrible things I have ever eaten.my husband and I both got sick and were ill throughout the whole evening not sure if it was that creamed spinach or undercooked scallops. The last two years in a row they ran out of the Valentine's Day special before 8 p.m. . This restaurant is constantly unprepared.a hostess was trying to clear silverware at asked if she could take things from our table and was essentially bussing our table while we were still sitting at it and having conversation.
Great service, and atmosphere tonight!
While the food and service are top notch and the scallops were prepared perfectly, we almost didn't make it through the lobby. The lobby area smelled of sewer gas and almost caused my wife to leave immediately. Fortunately, she stayed and we enjoyed a delightful meal in a quiet setting with great service.
Great food and service
Been there many times, never disappoints.
Food is just ok. Nothing exciting. Overly priced for what you get. There is a better steak and seafood restaurant in Pueblo.
I frequent Park East every time I’m in Pueblo. Great food and service
We go between having a good experience at Park East and a bad. Never consistent. This visit was bad. Ordered appetizers, salads and entrees. After we are there 45 minutes they bring our salads. Ok......they were good flavor, but shouldn’t appetizer come first? Then they bring entrees at which time I sent them back because NO appetizers! Finally after we are there an hour appetizers come. Stuffed mushrooms and artichoke dip mediocre. Finally we get dinner after an hour 20 minutes. The ribs delicious. Sides for the ribs really tasty. The beef tenderloin tips and risotto awful! Tenderloin tips anything but tender. Risotto texture like oatmeal. Best part of dish is the one onion ring you get. Do we go back? The never ending question as I said never consistent.
Amazing service, great food
New Years eve
Carrie and her team are always inviting, professional and treat each customer like family. Thanks to Dominic for taking care of us!
Reservation for 2 @5pm. Many empty tables, our table was right in the sight line of every person entering the back seating area as well as in the middle of anyone entering that particular dining room. Asked for a table in a less busy path, the “hostess” accomodated the request with a qualifier that we had to “out” by “6:15 or so” “we have a lot of reserved 4 tops tonight”. Not nice, not my problem (at least it shouldn’t be). I’m sure they can manage the flow without putting it on a paying customer to basically get out quick. Service was fair, timing of apps, salads & mains was off. Steaks 12 oz NY strips were tough. We just kinda laughed it off, it was our 39th wedding anniversary, so the company was good & we enjoyed ourselves in spite of all the silliness of this disorganized place. We did leave at 6:20 and there were 3 empty tables in the dining room we were in. My suggestion, take good care of the customer in front of you & plan your evening seatings & have contingencies for dealing with short waits for reserved tables. Probably take that sore thumb little 2 top out of the dining room at the end of main entry hall. Prices are fair, steak is ok, fried shrimp perfect.
The singular problem was that they would not except a gift card that was purchased . Since the gift card had value , by not honoring it even though it was due to computer concerns , they have effectively taken money under false pretenses . Even though the card was sold by previous ownership , the new owners maintained the name of the restaurant and therefore of the liabilities and assets of the same restaurant .
The food was great and our waitress was wonderful which made our evening fun.
We had to send our steaks back twice. They first came out rare and then medium-rare. We had asked for medium-well. We gave up after the second failed attempt and just took them home for the dogs. Seriously disappointed.
Service was great and food was superb!! Ribeye was tender and very flavorful, and the bacon wrapped feta stuffed dates were divine. Great place!!
Good food at reasonable prices in a unique environment. We visited on Saturday evening for an early dinner to celebrate birthdays. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately on our reservations. Overall the experience was quite good. The only hitch was the kitchen timing was a off as our main courses showed up about 3 minutes after being served soup and salad, so our table was overcrowded and mains sitting as we finished up. Give them a try, they're worth the trip.
Best in town, great food, service and environment.
My steak was very tough. We brought in $50 in gift cards and was not able to use them. We do understand the explanation the manager gave, but it still was a big bummer, that was the only reason we went to this restaurant. The prices are high and we wouldn't normally choose to go there. The manager did give a percentage of our bill, which was very kind of her, but it still was an unexpected cost that we weren't prepared to pay for.
Beautiful setting and great food
Lemon drop martini was very syrupy. Server got one order completely wrong, scallops were rubbery, French onion soup extremely salty, dessert (crepe brûlée) was heavy. All in all, the only thing that was good was the stuffed poblano. They need to work on their menu and servers. More follow-up in the kitchen. Will not recommend to anyone!
I use to work at Park East, 1980 - 1985, with the original owners, The Lepitsos Family, starting out as a cocktail waitress and then bartender. I have been going back to check the originality of the food with each new owner through the years.......to be honest, the last time I went in, around spring time, I did not enjoy the food, the salad was limp and did not reflect the original salad, the tempura was under cooked......this time, however, it was very reminiscent of the original food I loved. I will be back again soon. Please use a thicker cut pumpernickel bread and whipped butter!
Nice restaurant, though a little pricey. Food was good,
I was asking for a secluded table with my wife. I was given a table right next to EVERYONE else. It was never noted that it was my anniversary.
We were going to leave and go to somewhere else. Once our serve game up to us we decided to stay because she was wonderful.
My wife had a steak and it was delicious. My seafood pasta left me wishing for more. My shrimp was SO SO SO tough and I was disappointed.
I would come back for our server, but that’s about it. 😩
Great place. Been going for many a year. Service was as usual excellent and food was great as well. Only complaint is carpet in Hall which is a trip hazard.
Overall it was great. Service was great, food was amazing, nothing to complain about really.
Wonderful little hideaway restaurant. The food was prepared excellently and the service was great. I have already recommended this to friends and will be going back personally.
