Beautiful restaurant situated in a fabulous building. They had a piano player when we went on Sunday evening which was a nice touch. Lovely food well presented and generally all round nice vibe.

We chose Parisi Passage Restaurant for its location in a beautifully restored masterpiece of a building and our first night in Budapest. The food was a creatively reimagining of traditional Hungarian classics with a twist - reflecting the trend towards a lighter style of cuisine. Our waiter was attentive and guided us through the menu with informative suggestions on dishes and wine pairings which was a great help as I am unfamiliar with Hungarian wines but was anxious to try them as not widely available at home. The entire experience was one we will not forget and we would recommend without hesitation. Bravo!

The space is absolutely gorgeous. Came for dinner and they had live music playing, which added to the picture perfect ambience. That being said, the service and food was very average. Had to wait 15 mins for the host to show up before I could get seated. All in all I’d say it’s worth popping by just to soak in the atmosphere, but I wouldn’t really get a full meal here.
