Food was good but the noise level was overwhelming (and the restaurant was only about half full, so I can’t imagine what it would be like if it were full).

By 7 they were out of one fish special.
My halibut was so over cooked you couldn’t eat it.
Over an hour to receive our terrible meals.
Young wait staff was trying hard but all they could do was refill your water.
It’s been many years since I had such a poor meal in Charleston.

This new restaurant (open 2 weeks) at the site of the previous restaurant Fish is very attractive inside. They have enclosed the previous outdoor space so the restaurant no longer is long and narrow. Staff was very pleasant and efficient and the manager (?) came by several times asking about our experience. The menu itself has small print lighter in color and is rather complicated. The entrees on the menu have names which then correspond to the daily offerings so you find yourself looking back and forth to figure it out. My husband ordered a Manhattan which was made a bit differently, not particularly pleasing. I ordered an Old Fashioned, again a bit different but better than the Manhattan. We ordered the hushpuppies to share among the 4 of us. These were VERY different, made of pecan flour, and tasted very meaty, almost like sausage, dressed with a bit of tomato sauce and cheese; we didn't like them. One p person ordered the cucumber and crab soup, again not particularly good. My husband ordered the fish special which he described as OK. The winner at the table was the short ribs; they were delicious. We glanced at the dessert menu but nothing looked appealing so we passed. I would be willing to give this place another try because they are so new.

The service was superb and the food was a great mix of veggies, seafood, and meat. We shared the whole fish and added the daily side. Along with a small plate to start, that was the perfect amount of food for two. Good, reasonable wine list, too.

Parcel 32 has set the stage for a great dining & bar experience. The newly restored interior is well thought out in relation to the buildings original purpose.
The bar area will be a popular stop for all ages w/ a great bar menu for a light appetizer. The Triggerfish spread with Ritz crackers is a “must try” as well as the “pickle jar” appetizer.

The dinner menu offers small & large plate options that are fairly priced. Chef, Shaun Brian provides a nice selection of fish choices with the origin of the fish. Other choices include meat (pork & beef) related dishes and are combined with local vegetable choices. The menu offers vegan items as well.

Parcel 32 will be another great dining experience for both locals and tourists.

We will return!

We are celebrating our 19th anniversary in Charleston and dined here the first night. The food, service and ambiance at Parcel 32 was top notch. We both really enjoyed eating here and the service and food were just so perfect. For a romantic evening, I highly recommend Parcel 32.

This was a birthday dinner for my husband Mark and from the very beginning,,,everything was perfect. Our server in the bar area was amazing. He was calm spoken and non-pushy. Food and presentation amazing! We will definitely be coming back again sooner than later.

We loved it! Everything was outstanding! The menu is interesting, truly fresh, and great. We did the sharing options for the mains. The tomahawk steak and whole snapper were great! The hush puppies are a must! So is the tomato pie dessert!! The cocktails were properly prepared, great beer list.

They are off to a great start! The menu was a bit overly confusing and the service will settle in after they have been open awhile. The food was truly outstanding. Our entire party of 5 was thoroughly pleased with every morsel.

I suppose that since they just opened Tuesday they should be given some slack. Their front of house operation does need some work BUT, the food is fabulous!!!!
Their food presentation is glorious. Pretty, colorful, well proportioned and enticing. The flavors, however, are what counts and they are fabulous! A great combination of flavors and textures! My wife ordered a vegetarian appetizer and main course and I ordered seafood for both appetizer and main course. Not only were we satisfied with each dish, we think the presentation and flavors rival any restaurant in the city!!

To begin with the serverr spilled my husband's beer all over me with only the offer of a napkin to help out. My husbands meal took over two hours to serve because of a "glitch " in the kitchen/ordering process. The other three people in our party were served and encouraged to eat as it would be out "very shortly." The final steak dish came out but we were well done with meals and very ticked off. The manager comped the steak but I feel we should have been compensated for our trouble. The bill was over $300 with four apps and three entrees, Very disappointed overall. The only shining star was our waitress amanda who couldn't control anything but kept a smile on her face and a good sense of humor. Her service was excellent.
Don't waste your money too many other good places to eat in charleston.

Alison was our server and she was AMAZING! Everyone at the table loved her. She had answers to all of our questions without getting agitated and seemed to really enjoy her job. The aesthetic inside is beautiful with a lot of history pertaining to the building and Charleston. Get the fish spread, you won't be disappointed!!! The short rib and all of the side options are great and melt in your mouth.

Parcel 32 was absolutely incredible. The restaurant is beautiful but the food is even more beautiful. We went during their second night open with a group of 6 people. It was by far the best restaurant we have ever been to after only two days open. In fact, it is now one of our favorite restaurants in the world and gives us a reason to travel to Charleston, SC.

The service was on point and the craft cocktails were spectacular but the food, the food was unbelievable. Food presentation was meticulous and beautiful. The presentation prepared us for some of the most incredible flavor combinations we have ever had on a plate. Everything from beginning to end was simply amazing. The way the chef works with local farms to bring in local ingredients adds freshness bursting with flavor. This restaurant subtly blends land and sea with flavors from light to savory in a unique and appealing way.

In just the second night, the restaurant did not have an empty seat. Parcel 32 will change the cuisine scene in Charleston. We will literally go back to Charleston just to go to this restaurant - I am not sure we can say that we would travel to a city just to go to amy other restaurant.

I hope this restaurant can keep the chef happy, the combination the restaurant aesthetic, the fresh ingredients and the creativity of chef is makes Parcel 32 a really special new restaurant.

Amazing food, service, and the atmosphere was delightful. The pickles are the bomb, and oysters are phenomenal. Will definitely be back and bring more friends and family here.

Our visit was opening week and it was running smoothly and everyone very friendly. The food options were extensive and the 3 we had at our table (pork chops, hen and fish) were excellent. Most choices were offered gluten free! The atmosphere is worthy of a special occasion. The noise level was conducive to conversation due to the wide placement of the tables.

We dined here on their opening night. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was outstanding, and everything we ate was great! We particularly enjoyed the corn silk poached shrimp, the chilled crab soup, and the oysters. We’ll definitely be back!
