Our restaurant and bar is spacious yet intimate, and features a wide, welcoming center bar. We were taking my 88 year old father to the DSO but it was cancelled due to the Covid-19 mandate of large crowds. We kept our reservations at Parc and were very pleased that we did! What great food, service and fun we all had in spite of state of the city’s crowd control measures.
Loved the food, service and the view!
Food was ok. Charred burrata was very sweet, the wood grilled oysters were a little cold, yet burnt on top. My husband's pork chop was great! My pasta with lamb meatballs was just ok. Noise level was pretty high, but our servers were fantastic! Not sure we'd go back, but happy that we tried it.
I had a dinner date with my brother who is a steak and potatoes type of guy. In all honesty, Parc was not my first choice for the evening, but I was unable to get a reservation at any of the downtown steak places. First, I have to say our server Jennifer was fabulous. Second, the ambiance and location of this restaurant is really wonderful. You really feel as though you are in the heart of Detroit. It's especially magical this time of year when you can watch the skaters go round and round on the ice rink. I've dined at Parc several times before, and have always had good experiences. Two things really bothered me. One, their wines are overpriced compared to a lot of other restaurants I go to. Sure, I expect Caymus to sell for $190 in a restaurant if it cost $90 at your local wine shop, but I think they overpriced their more moderate selections, and they could have a few more bottles in the 40-60 dollar range. Secondly, I ordered the Waygu shortrib ragout. I just noticed on their website they serve this for lunch at a reasonable $18. At dinner it was $38, and not really that large of a portion. I didn't order a salad or soup thinking the entree would fill me up, but not so much. As for the Waygu beef, I could have easily mistaken it for chuck roast. It was a little on the tough side. Full disclosure: I ate it all, but c'mon! At that price, in that restaurant, it should knock your socks off. I'm here to tell you, my socks are still on.
Service was awesome, and love the ambiance. Food I felt was pretty good, but not amazing...a few of the dishes at our table were great, and some were just ok. I may be back to try some other dishes, but I'm not itching to return. Not a bad experience at all, though. Just wanted to be wowed by the food at this price point.
Restaurant was very cold so was most of the staff. Food was mediocre drinks were weak. Probably won’t go back
Food was average at best and that's a stretch. Ate here last year and it was much better. Not this visit.
Tough business, with all the choices in town, will not return.
We were a party of three, we each visited or tried to visit the restroom. Come on there was a wait for each of us in a very small awkward alcove, weird.
The Great Lakes State and not one local fish on the menu, really?
Had a wonderful time. The view is so pretty. Our waiter was attentive and made great suggestions. They even accommodated my requests for medium rare salmon. I
Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to dine at the heart of Detroit. In fact, I will be going back
Jen, our waitress was fantastic. The food was excellent!!
Food was excellent and nice atmosphere!
Creative, interesting food delivered with great service.
The food was beautifully plated and the service is impeccable! The waiter who served us was very enthusiastic and genuine, and the restaurant holds a gorgeous setting! Food was amazing too:)
Our service was very good. We had a reservation and they seated us promptly and followed with a greeting from our waitress. Food, appetizers, drinks, and dessert were all very good.
It was just okay this time. We had been there in the past and it was fabulous. So we returned with some friends to celebrate our birthdays. The entrees just were mediocre. Hopefully just an oft night. Will give it another try this summer.
Host forgot we were waiting at the bar. So waited over 30min to be seated even though we had reservations. Waited 15min for a server to even come to the table. Server said strawberries came with the pancakes...cane with blueberries. Server didn't ask if wanted bill split. Brought out wrong juice for the mimosas. We will never go back. Horrible experience. Embarrassed that I brought friends there.
Great location, love all the windows - makes the restaurant seem open and airy. The salmon was fantastic and so is the Chips & Tuna Tartar appetizer. It is definitely on the higher end of price. Definitely would go back.
Great food, views and service!
Staff was so friendly and attentive.
Food was good but not exceptional.
Space is lovely.
Would definitely recommend.
The food and waiter Michael at Parc were excellent!!
The hostess and manager were rude to us and didn’t want to try to accommodate us and we did have reservations. No excuse for how we were treated hopefully not because we were a party of 5 women.
We were met by a gracious hostess, who seated us at a window-view booth near the outdoor fountain--quite romantic. From Richard, our server, to the manager, who inquired if everything was to our liking during dinner, to the courteous waitstaff assistants, everything was most enjoyable. We keep coming back for the great ambiance and the superb food and it's "cool" to be in the heart of the city, watching all of the people enjoying all that Detroit has to offer, especially great restaurants, like Parc!
We highly recommend this award-winning venue. You won't be disappointed!
Service was our main issue here. I’m afraid the hostess was informed of a death in the family prior to the start of her shift. I’ve never met anyone more lifeless; welcoming would be the last word I would use to describe her. I hope for her sake it was just a bad night. Our server seemed to be in a rush and lacked some proper manners. The food was hit or miss. Confit chicken app and the tagliatelle were the stars. The filet was good but not worth the price. Avoid the Brussel sprouts - they tasted undercooked and barely had any of the chili flavor to them. Overall I would return for something like a casual dinner at the bar.
An overall wonderful experience. We had a large party.service was great and food was prepared perfectly
We had an amazing Sunday Brunch. Alyssa was our server and she is a sweetheart. We loved our conversation with her and our experience dining at Parc. We will definitely return, the food was amazing as well. Not one bite was less than amazing.
Steak under seasoned and overdone. Brussel sprouts raw. Overall expected more. Looks nice from the outside and inside
Fantastic experience! Great vibe, amazing food and excellent service. Highly recommend!
Terrific service, great meal and craft drinks. What more could you ask for!
We dined at Parc on Saturday evening for Valentine’s Day weekend. We were sat quickly but did not have great service for a highly rated restaurant. I work in the service industry and the head server was too busy taking care of tables who were ordering wine to greet us (which I felt that because we were just a two top; we didn’t matter). Her server assistant took care of us all evening. He was very awkward and you could tell he was not used to doing the whole dining experience alone. I think every table should be treated fairly; we are all there spending the same amount on dinner.
Great meal as always. Received excellent service still my favorite steak house in downtown Detroit
Excellent service even though it was packed for Valentine’s Day. We got our food quickly and our waiter was very attentive. All around great experience!
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The atmosphere, the wait staff team was total perfection.
Came for Valentines Day. Everyone left full and happy. There were little things I could be picky about, but it’s really not worth mentioning when the service was next level, food was amazing and came promptly— it really was a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to come back. Fabulous!!
I wonder if something has happened at Parc. I went there for a business dinner last year and it was good. This time I asked for three of the bourbons on the menu and they had none of them. We had a goat cheese appetizer that had no flavor. Then we had a ribs appetizer that was very rubbery. The meat in the short rib pasta tasted like the beef in the stroganoff I used to get at camp. The desserts were pretty bland. We did have good service and this is a neat looking place but something has gone wrong in the kitchen.
Great Night with the Family - food and service was good!
Food and service was good! They were closing at 4pm and only Brunch items available all day on Sunday.
Came here for my birthday dinner. Service was wonderful with 2 waiters for our table of 6. We never had to ask for refills on anything. Food was delicious! With our big group, we were able to taste a lot of menu items and we were not disappointed. The venue is located in Campus Maritus and the fountain was beautiful. Definitely will be back!
Had a wonderful time dinner wash delicious.
Outstanding food, service, ambience
dinner before theater. Had dinner on an early Sunday night before going to the Fisher. Ordered the tuna app. which was good but my wife prefers it raw. We also split a salad. My wife ordered the pasta with short rib and I had the pork chop. Both were fantastic as we shared both dishes. Lots of flavor with both. No sides needed with these entrees. The have 6 and 9 ounce pours of wine. I had the Cakebread chardonnay which was great and the wine choices are many. We did not have coffee or dessert since we were under a bit of a time crunch which our server was on top of things and kept the pace going without rushing us. The manager came by the table to check on us which was nice. Park in the structure across the street and it is an easy walk even in the winter.
Outstanding brunch, great views of the city and the skating rink. Ccx would have given a '5' for service, except the server told us they don't split checks (we had a party of 5)!! Really??!! Can't split the check, wow!!
